Esmeralda’s POV

“I’m meeting Charles on neutral territory! If anything starts it will mean immediate war!” Xavier explains. He turns to grab his jacket, but I step in front of him.

“I have a bad feeling about him! Please take me with you!” I protest!

“He is a very formal man Esme. This is the only way I could get close to him!” Xavier explains reaching over me and grabbing his jacket off the hook.

I snatch it from him before he can put it on! “Why!” I’ve been at him with him for the past hour. Even Amelia let up, and stormed off about 30 minutes ago! I wasn’t going to let up though! “Why!?” I yell at him again… But I am cut off by Xavier.

“To figure out who has been disturbing your mind and disrupting your sleep! To figure out who was the one who sold our Rose.” He slams his fist on the wall! “Is that enough!” He yells. His nostrils flaring!

I reach up and run my fingers through his hair. I feel his wolf start to calm under my touch! I lean into his chest as he pulls me close. “I’m sorry! But why meet him!? Why not make him come to us!?”

“No” Xavier said pulling me away, “I do not want that piece of s**t on our land! Not yet! I want to know his tricks first Esme.”

“Please, take Cole with you! I feel something bad is going to happen! Please!” I feel myself begging as a tear starts to form in my eyes.

“Ok my Luna,” Xavier says as he wipes the tear from my eye, “If it will help put your mind to ease I will take Cole with me.”

“THANK YOU!” I say leaping into his arms, kissing him passionately on the lips.

I feel Xavier wolf start to grown so I start kissing him harder.

“I have a few minutes, before I have to leave…” Xavier grins as he tosses me on the bed. “I’ll have to give you something to keep you happy until I get back!”

I giggle as I feel his hard c**k throbbing against my inner thigh! I moan a little as he starts to nibble my ear! Suddenly my thoughts shoot to Amelia

“Our Rose,” I shout, pushing Xavier off of me! “She is still upset”

“I know she doesn’t want me to go! I know this man scares her! But he doesn’t scare me! He thinks because he is the eldest Alpha that he is the leader of us all!” I small giggle escapes his lips! “I cannot wait to prove him wrong! Go comfort our Rose my Luna! We’ll continue where we left off when I get back.” Xavier kissed me passionately before leaving the room.

I run to our rose. She was in the study, trying to read. I could tell she was angry.

“My rose,” I call to her

“Is he still going?” She asked with an angry tone in her voice!

I sigh as I make my way over to her! “Yes my love he is!”

“But he is dangerous! He makes my skin crawl!” She screams

“Mine too love! I have him taking Cole with him! If anything happens he will be protected!!”

“Esme… I…” Amelia tries to speak but I interrupt her

“Your sexy when you worry! Now come on let’s go give our man a reason to make this dinner quick!” I kiss her passionately before offering her my hand.

We walk out of the study and see Avery saving goodbye to Cole! I smile as we walk over to Xavier.

“My rose…” Xavier goes to speak, but Amelia interrupts him with long kiss.

“Just get back to us and fast please! I won’t be able to rest until your back here!” Amelia says

“I won’t be long! Especially with what I know is waiting for me when I get home!” Xavier kisses me too and pulls us in close!

“Be safe.” Amelia and I both say as we kiss him on last time.

With that Xavier and Cole exit. Avery, Amelia, and I both race to the window and watch as Cole and Xavier pull away.

I feel Avery start to whimper. I look over and see she is holding her stomach, tears rolling down her face. She’s about to collapse when Amelia catches her.

“Easy Avery Easy.” Amelia says as she lowers her onto the ground

I fills my heart seeing Amelia care for Avery! I know there was a rocky start at first.

“Are you okay dear?” I hear Amelia ask.

“I’m fine!” Avery says “Just got a little emotional that is all”

I’ve never seen Avery get emotional like that! Even when Cole and her fought! What is going on?

Oh My God! My wolf screams

“YOUR PREGNANT!” I scream!

Amelia’s jaw drops open as Avery nods her head. Confirming it to be true!
