One would think the Richardson's were mourning the death of a relative with the way they were pacing around the sitting room. They've been trying to come up with a plan to protect the little one, but it seems futile.
"can you stop doing that? Y'all are making me dizzy" Linette said touching her forehead.
Lizette looked at her and sat down.
"any idea yet aunt?"
"yes I think" Grace making Lizette to sit up right.
"go on"
"I think we should take Linette to a far away place, where no one will find her not even your husband" Grace said
"but he is her father, they can't be separated and what is this place you talk of?" Linette asked.
"you don't know of it, even you are not supposed to know, you'll stay back here with your husband and if he asks say I and Linette went on a little trip to the Bahamas" Grace said.
"and what will I be doing?"
"you'll stay back here and make sure no one finds us"
"why are you even going into hiding? we could ask for protection from the other witches and warlords and even the other supernaturals"
"I need to prepare the little one for the task at hand" Grace replied
"why can't I be the one to train her!" Lizette asked with a pout
"cause you are too soft and you'll spend your time playing mother and daughter with her instead of training her"
"as if you won't be doing the same thing" Lizette whispered with a defiant look
"I hope I've made myself clear?" Lizette nodded in response
"mommy where's daddy?" Linette asked holding her teddy close to her.
"daddy's at work cutie, now let's get you ready for the night cause daddy will be coming home later" Lizette said carrying her up and walking up the stairs.
"why?"
"cause daddy called in late today, said he has a whole lot of paperwork to do at the office and he has to finish them or his boss will fire him tomorrow"
"I thought daddy was the boss, his come he has a boss? Mommy did daddy lie to me??"
"no princess he didn't cause I'm his boss and that also makes him the boss of the company" Lizette answered already tucking her in
"so if daddy doesn't finishes his paper work before tomorrow you'll fire him" Lizette stared unbelievably at her daughter
"mommy's mean" she said with a pout
"you caught me cutie and no I won't fire daddy because his little Linn said so" Lizette said tickling her which made her laugh out loud before getting up from the bed
"good night hunny"she said switching off the light.
"good night momma" she answered in a whisper dozing off before Lizette closed the door
"did you tell her we are traveling tomorrow?" Grace asked behind her "woman you've got to learn to stop sneaking on people, what if I had a heart attack? And no I didn't tell her" she said walking towards her room
"suit yourself and your husband is back" Grace said turning towards her room to prepare for her travel tomorrow while Lizette went to hers.
Opening the door if her room, she found her husband already coming out of the bathroom with a towel on his waist.
"hi love, when did you get bavk? and you've already taking your bath" Lizette asked walking towards him
"10 minutes ago" he said going towards the closet avoiding Lizette
"well then since I'm being ignored, I'll just sleep" she said in sad voice before mounting the bed
"that won't work today Liz, try something new" he said wearing his boxers and climbing on the bed.
"good night" she said covering herself with the duvet and turning the other way
"come on boo, you I know I hate it when you're angry at me" he said trying to sneak his arms around her
"let go I'm sleepy" Lizette said feigning a yawn
"you never even asked how my day was" he said
"and if I've eaten" he added
Lizette simply made like she heard nothing.
"okay then good night" he said switching off the lights
"aunt Grace and little Linn are going to the Bahamas tomorrow on a little vacation" Lizette suddenly spoke up
"and the dark lord has risen, so please be careful" she added
"care about me much wifey"
"no....I just don't want my daughter to end up fatherless" she said already drifting into slumber
"and I'll kill anyone who dares harm her" she said dozing off
