I am lying in Adyson’s bed whilst she is sprawled over my chest. I run my fingers through her hair softly. I sigh as I think about the events of tonight. Hades wanted to rip Jax apart, he played it out graphically in my head. I can’t help but smile at the image.
I managed to reign him in though, I reminded him it would hurt Adyson. I need to speak to her tomorrow about what Jax said. When he claimed Adyson was his mate I could see in her eyes that she knew why he said it.
I am just so thankful she took my hand. I may have looked confident and in control but on the inside I wasn’t. I have this fear that Adyson will realise I am not worthy of her.
