Evelyn was in the coffee shop doing what she knows as to do best and as the top coffee maker everyone always wanted her to prepare coffee for them and she's always with her best friend both of them have been there for over 3 years and they knew most of the people who came to buy because it's a small town, “we're almost done with our days job” Emily said looking all tired but Evelyn wasn't even looking her way “you'll always be tired, just go and sign out and let's go home” Evelyn replied not even looking her way “she's thinking about him again” Emily teased her going to stand in front of her, “Oh, please who I'm I thinking about” she said as she went to attend to someone “and that's the last person, so it's time to go home” she added “You're avoiding my question right, no problem clean up and let's go home” Emily said as she pulled her apron from her waist and arranges her hair well and they bid the manager goodbye as they went outside. As they walked down the road, Desmond drove past and reversed back again “I knew it was the both of you I saw, are you heading home?” He asked but he got down before they gave him a reply, on the other hand Emily is teasing Evelyn “Hey, good evening boo,how was your day” Evelyn said as she hugged Desmond “Let me drop you ladies off” He told them as he opens the front door for Evelyn and she tries to decline but he insisted while Emily was waiting for her to decline “does she want me to hike home, even if she does consider herself what about me” Emily said within her and started giving her gestures to accept, “Evie, what are you waiting for, my legs are hurting” Emily said on a very low tone but they heard “Ok, let's go” Evelyn accepted and he dropped them off at home and they all alighted, Emily went in leaving Evelyn and Desmond alone “I was actually coming to your house not until I met you on your way,you're late today any reason” he asked while he pins her to the door of his car, “it's because we were receiving our pay today so we had to wait and moreover a customer kinda delayed Abit” she replied while she was trying to leave but he keeps pushing her back and they both laughed “I told you to stop the work and I'll pay you personally but you refused anyways I got you a dress, I want you to be ready by 5pm tomorrow, no excuses this time around” he said as he went to get the outfit from the boot if his car and he came back “here it is babe, I hope you'll love it” he gave her and she smiled giving him a big hug and she whispers into her ear “I love you” and she ran inside leaving a smile on his face “I'll do everything to keep her, I just wish my parents will accept her” he said as he went to his car and drove off. “Lover girl, see how she's smiling” Emily mocks Evelyn and also laughs “if he makes you cry just a drop of tears I'll break his head into a million pieces, I want this smile on your face it last forever nothing should come in between the both of you” Emily added as she snatched the bag from Evelyn “So what do we have here” she takes a look the bag and raises her eyebrows and whines her friend “Where to this time around?” Emily asked but Evelyn just looked at her and laughed “better go and look for someone that will love you and moreover I don't know another surprise from him again, he just knows how to put a smile on my face” Evelyn finds her way to the bed and lies down. “You know me, I'm not like you, I want someone that will match my vibe like you've found yours, I'm not ready now” Emily told her and went to freshen up “better stand up and stop thinking about him, anyways when I'm out of the shower, we'll both figure out what we'll have for dinner” Emily left and came out within a jiffy “Young woman you're still here, anyways I'm done so go and freshen up, I'm hungry and I have to wait for you so pls hurry don't waste time, thanks in advance” Evelyn also came out within a jiffy “Thank your stars you didn't waste time, I was about banging the door” as the both went to the kitchen to prepare something to eat, “Evie what are you going to prepare, you know you're the chef and I can't cook so my stomach depends on you” Evelyn replied “I know you love food so I'll be preparing your favorite on one condition, that's if you help out and you won't be with your phone agreed” Emily nodded in agreement and they both went together and prepared something while they were at it they talked and laughed and also played while they were almost done, Evelyn phone rang but Emily gave her the look of don't go there “no touching of phones until we're done remember, because if you leave here I'll have to finish it and I can't do nothing, I'll just end up spoiling everything” Emily said and Evelyn just looked at the phone and finished on time and ensured she finished eating before she picked up her phone, when she finished they both did the dishes, cleaned everywhere and then she went to her phone “ Desmond has called me 10 times, he'll be annoyed see what you've caused” Evelyn turned to Emily while she looked away “it's not my fault though” Emily said as she whistles “You can all him back, he'll definitely pick up and stop stressing yourself” Emily added, Evelyn called him back and they talked for hours and slept off.
