On getting home, Evelyn kept thinking about what happened, she even forgot when she got to her house “ma'am, you're home” the cab man told her but she was lost in her thoughts so the cab man had to get down so he would open the door, he did and had to tap her “Ma'am you're home” he said again as she shakes her body, “Oh, I'm sorry” she said as she alighted and pays her fees “You can keep the change, goodnight” she said as she walked towards her door, “You're early and why didn't he drop you off” Emily teased her but Evelyn didn't even smile or blush so Emily knew something was up “Evie, what's going on, what happened, anytime you come back from an outing with Desmond you're always all about him, but this time around it's different” Emily asked as she moves close to Evelyn “you know you can't hide anything from me, so talk to me what happened” Evelyn just went to remove her shoes and change her outfit “Well, I don't know who Desmond is anymore, that same woman we saw on our way to work I actually met her again at the gala and this time around she threatened me on the other hand Desmond's eyes kept twitching” she said to Emily looking down and worried “About that lady, did you ask him who she is, you should have just let me teach her a lesson and about that his eyes twitching do you remember that time when our high school teacher talked about werewolves?” She replied “To be on the safe side, let's just go visit the library to confirm our suspicion, what about that?” but Evelyn wasn't relaxed yet cause the way Seraphine threatened her “Don't think about what she said, cause I know you well, I actually didn't prepare anything for you because I thought you'll be coming late and we're not going to work tomorrow, we'll use that opportunity to go to the library and make our research is that fine?” Emily tried comforting Evelyn and also tried to put a smile on her face, “So the program you love watching is coming up soon, will you like to watch with me or you'll still let that good for nothing woman words bother you” she said as she pulls Evelyn out of bed, “I'll go get the popcorn, give me a minute” Emily said as she went to the kitchen to get it from the microwave, “Here you go”, Evelyn turned to her and said “You always find a way to put a smile on my face” she also smiled and hugged Emily, they both slept off on the couch while Desmond on the other hand was dealing with Seraphine, “What did I tell you about staying away from her” he said as his fur ripple from his skin and he transforms into a tall and huge werewolf and he gave a loud roar “Do you really want to harm me because of a human?” She said as she moved closer to him but he came back to his normal self when he saw his parents approaching, “I told you to stay away from her or you'll see the side of me you hate the most” he said to Seraphine, “the pack won't accept you with a human, an Alpha to be precise with a human huh not possible,you know what the outcome will be so why are you stressing yourself, while I'm here for you” Seraphine replied as she went very close to him “I don't want to hurt you so I'll appreciate it if you maintain that distance” Desmond replied as he walked away leaving only her in the room, “Yes this is what I want, have an offspring with a human and my plan will be successful, then I, Seraphine will be the rightful Alpha of the pack” she said to herself as she pretends to go after him, but he had left the house “I hope he didn't hear what I said” but she was very confident, on her way out she met Velkan by the door “Oh hi” Velkan said as they almost collided “Is my bro inside?” he added “No, I have no idea where he went to, he just left the house without saying anything” She replied and left.

Velkan picked up his phone to call Desmond because it's so unlike him to leave the house and he just got back from an outing “what's going on here, where will he be and he just got back from an outing” he asked himself as the phone rang “Yo, bro where you at?” Velkan asked but Desmond didn't reply “Desmond!!!” Still he got no reply, so Velkan knew where he might be “something happened, or else he would have been home waiting for me to come back and he'll tell me about everything that happened” he thought to himself “he's at the mountain top that's the only place he could have gone” he transforms and ran as fast as possible to meet him at the top, he heard his brother's howl from far so he was certain he was there, “You told me you'll be going to the gala with Evelyn, I was rushing home to get a long essay about how it went but you're here sulking and this is unlike you,for a lady make the Almighty Alpha, the fearful Desmond sulk like this that means you love her a lot so I'm here now what happened” Velkan said as he transforms back to his human self “And you're howling here, have you forgotten the rule, no human must know about our existence” he added and Desmond came back to his normal self “that's another thing that's bothering me” he said as he narrated all that happened in the gala and Velkan just laughed “you're the one that's filled with this so much drama and now that Evelyn saw your eyes twitch how sure are you she won't research about it” he asked but Desmond gave him yhe assurance that she won't “ive actually convinced her” Velkan sighed “then everything is settled, let's head home please I'm hungry” both of them laughed and they head home.
