Chapter 10 I just like it a little bit

689 Words
“It was just what you said yesterday...” Aurora got embarrassed by Caldwell’s questioning, so she kept making up the story. The way Aurora dressed up changed a little after her rebirth. However, she was afraid that Lune would get suspicious seeing her changes, so she used Caldwell as an excuse, saying that he had asked her to do that. “Yesterday? When?” Caldwell insisted on getting the final answer. She was just using him for a short while, did he really have to do that? “You said that last night when you were dreaming, Caldwell, don’t you remember?” Aurora answered without any shame, because she had already learned how to deal with people. Caldwell’s mouth corners trembled a bit. Aurora and Caldwell sat on the same car, while Lune Bright went into another car behind them, led by the driver. She took a glance at Aurora and Caldwell with much discontent. That was the man she was fond of! She didn’t understand, why was Aurora so attractive to him? Why did Caldwell care about Aurora so much, yet he had never looked carefully at Lune Bright? Soon the car was heading to a villa on the beach. The villa’s name was “Calrora House”, which was the combination of Aurora and Caldwell’s names. Two years ago, Caldwell had discovered a homeless Aurora and brought her back, soon they decided to build their own family. Two years later, the famous villa was finally complete. Indeed, Caldwell was truly a romantic person. However, in the previous life, Aurora considered it as a prison that caged her in. A few years later, this villa that used to be famous in Portland city, was burned into ashes in a huge fire, which shocked everyone. “My lord, my lady, we’ve arrived at the house now!” After getting out of the car, Caldwell moved to another side and helped Aurora open the door. “Thank you.” Aurora spoke politely. Once again she was here. Aurora looked at the villa “Calrora House” in a trance. She felt so familiar yet so strange. In her previous life, it seemed that she had made a lot of mistakes... However, Aurora didn’t realize her faults, but only believed that she was doing good for her love, because Lune Bright was brainwashing her. That was truly ironic. “What’s on your mind?” Caldwell stared at Aurora, a hand holding her waist just at the right place. “I’m fine, let’s go inside.” Aurora hid all her emotions away, pretended to be here for the first time, carefully and slowly appreciating the scenery of “Calrora House”. This villa was standing at the seaside. Aurora was fond of plants, so Caldwell had asked the workers to cover the villa with all sorts of plants. Especially on a balcony made of glass on the third floor, there were plenty of plants everywhere. Such delicate glass created an ambiance of transparency and made people feel like they were walking on air. “Do you like them?” Seeing the smile on Aurora’s mouth when she glanced at the plants, Caldwell just couldn’t help asking her. “Yes!” Aurora nodded without hesitation. In her previous life, Aurora had hated “Calrora House” to its core. Seeing the smile on Aurora’s face, Caldwell walked towards an Osmanthus tree, picked a flower from a branch, and inserted it to Aurora’s hair. Aurora felt turned on by Caldwell’s ambivalent behavior, as if his fingers carried some electricity hitting her heart while he touched her hair. Aurora looked awkward and lost, “Hey, everyone is watching us... Keep a low profile...” The driver and servants standing at the side of them spoke, “You two have been showing off your relationship for a long time, and now you just realize how embarrassing it is for us?”
