After drinking the water, Aurora cleared her throat and discovered that she felt a little more comfortable. No doubt, she had probably been dehydrated. The bedroom was quiet and, when she attempted to stretch, she found that she was able. Of course, there was still a lot of pain, but she could feel it receding. She had been angry at Caldwell but, now that the light was shining through the window, what she felt was more akin to shame.
