716 Words
Aurora secretly smiled to herself. She held the bouquet of roses in her arms embarrassedly as she looked at the principal. "Thank you, headmaster. May I go back to my classroom?" "Well, go ahead."The headmaster nodded. Aurora turned around and left. The principal looked at Aurora’s back. He examined her movements carefully. He originally took Aurora as no more than a good for nothing student without a bright future. As it turned out, she just kept a low profile. Although her family would not give her support anymore, it was clear that her lover was happy to take on that role. He didn’t know who the man was yet, but he was certain he was someone of high importance. - Aurora hesitated for a long time before she finally went back to the classroom. As she had expected, everyone turned their eyes to her and their expressions showed great surprise. They did not expect that Aurora would come back from the headmaster’s office with a huge bunch of red roses instead of being punished. "My gosh, she has come back with flowers?" Some girls were so surprised that they even took out their mirrors to examine their own face. “Who would send her flowers, she looks like a monster. Maybe someone is making fun of her, maybe she paid for the flowers herself!" "Ha, I think it's possible. She wants to convince us that she really has a fiancé." Aurora ignored the comments from her classmates. She put down the flowers before she leaned against her desk to take a nap. Aurora had no friend in this class. No one would ever talk to her. She had already become accustomed to their viciousness. Her last class was PE. It was a coincidence that the another class was having a PE lesson at the same time, on the same field. Harlyn and Harlan were in the class. The physical education teacher gave the students around twenty minutes of collective activity. Aurora had a rare opportunity to move closer to her brother. Just then, a figure appeared in front of Aurora, "Aurora, who are you looking for? Are you looking for me? Do you miss me?” It was Harlan. “Do you know where Harlyn is? “ Aurora did not answer his questions. She made it clear who she was looking for. Harlan was sad when she asked him where Harlyn was. "I will show you where to find Harlyn if you answer one question." Harlyn and Harlan were close friends, so he knew where to find Harlyn. "Deal. Go ahead." Said Aurora. Harlan nodded. A bitter expression spread across his face. He stared at Aurora for what seemed like a thousand years before he asked, "Who gave you those roses?!" Aurora had rejected his rose but she accepted the bouquet. How could she treat him like that? Why? Was it because he had given her just one? He wanted to give her a huge bouquet to show his love as well!  If If he knew she liked roses that much, he would have given her an even bigger bouquet! "My fiancé." Aurora answered. His expression became much more bitter. He didn’t have anything to say. He could only sulk. Ignoring the colorful expression on his face, Aurora asked coldly. "Can you bring me to Harlyn?" Harlan ground his teeth and said, "Come with me." Aurora looked at Harlan turn around unwillingly. She followed him, she felt happy. Harlyn was lying on the lawn by the lake. It was a quiet place. He looked like a prince who lead a very easy life. "Harlyn, here comes your sister." Harlan walked up to him. Harlyn quickly jumped up, he turned around and walked away. "Next time, don't bring her around me." His words were just so cold. Aurora’s heart froze as she heard what he said. Harlan thought about the situation. Harlyn treated his own sister Aurora so badly.  Aurora was clearly hurt by his words. He didn’t know why but he couldn’t bear the thought of Aurora in pain. He could feel her pain as if it was his own. He quickly pulled Harlyn. "Harlyn, you can’t just walk away!"
