".. I can't believe we got stuck taking care of the f*****g dogs.." bits and snips of words sounding, arousing me from what felt like slumber of a thousand years.
"Heh, at least the girl is a pretty sight to look at. If not because of the ranked ones' warning, I would've long since had a feel of her by now.." The voices seemed so far away, yet seemed to echo all around me.
I felt so disoriented, I didn't even have any grasp of the surroundings I was in. I couldn't feel anything but the pain all over me, but the pounding in my head, and the agony of my muscles. My hearing was all that it seemed I could make use of. I had no sensitivity whatsoever apart from it and the pain rocking my insides.
Where was I? What the hell is going on? What happened?
