Pitch black darkness descended upon the room, bringing with it an aura of unspeakable horror. Goosebumps rose against my skin as I looked around widely, if only to glimpse around at my surroundings, but it was futile, darkness was all I could see.
"Elder!" I opened my mouth to call but to my shock, no sound traveled out. It was almost like even it was absorbed by this darkness.
