My best friend suggested testing my boyfriend with a fake social media account.

I played along, created a dummy account, and told her it belonged to my boyfriend.

The moment she messaged me, she immediately started trash-talking me. She claimed I was seeing who knew how many guys behind his back and said I was nothing but used goods.

To top it all off, she flooded the chat with revealing photos of herself: low-cut tops that showed off her cleavage, provocative poses that bared her legs, and even pictures of her sticking her butt out.

Then she sent:

Claire: Hey, babe, want to hook up? I'm super easygoing. We can do whatever you want~

I replied:

Conrad: Nah, I don't buy that. Not unless you...

Sure enough, at the company's all-staff meeting the very next day, my so-called bestie suddenly froze, all the color draining from her face.

A vibrating toy hidden inside her suddenly kicked into maximum intensity. She began trembling and squirming so violently that she could barely stay on her feet.

Before anyone could figure out what was happening, the blare of a 911 ambulance siren echoed from outside the building.

Paramedics rushed her straight to the hospital for emergency treatment. She was probably dying of embarrassment long before she even reached the ER.

Chapter 1
My best friend suggested testing my boyfriend with a fake social media account. I went along with the idea, created a new account, and told her it belonged to my boyfriend. The moment she messaged me, she started badmouthing me nonstop. She claimed I was secretly seeing countless men behind my boyfriend's back and that I was nothing more than used goods who had been passed around by people who knew how many guys. To make matters worse, she flooded the chat with revealing photos of herself wearing low-cut tops, short skirts that showed off her legs, and provocative poses that pushed her hips back. Then she sent: Claire: Hey, babe, want to hook up? I'm super easygoing. We can do whatever you want~ I replied: Conrad: Nah, I don't buy that. Not unless you... The very next day, during our company's all-hands meeting, the vibrating toy hidden inside my best friend suddenly kicked into overdrive. It buzzed relentlessly until paramedics rushed in and wheeled her straight to the emergency room in front of everyone. But before I explain how things got to that point, let's rewind a little. My boyfriend had just proposed to me, yet my best friend, Claire Brooks, looked strangely unhappy. 'Was she worried I'd get hurt in the relationship?' That didn't seem likely. Conrad Hayes was practically perfect. He was tall, handsome, well-educated, came from a wealthy family, and loved me wholeheartedly. I honestly couldn't think of a single flaw. 'Or was she upset because we'd have less time to spend together after I got married?' Thinking that was the reason, I tried to reassure her. "You know Conrad loves taking me around the world, but don't worry. I'll bring you a souvenir from every place we visit." Instead of cheering her up, my words only made her expression darken. I tried everything I could think of to lift her spirits, but nothing worked. Growing increasingly worried, I finally asked what was bothering her. Claire Brooks was my closest friend. We'd known each other since elementary school, and she'd been by my side through nearly every important milestone in my life. The last thing I wanted was for her to have unspoken concerns about my engagement or my fiancé. Claire fidgeted with her fingers before speaking hesitantly. "Sienna... I'm still not sure about Conrad. Don't you think you're rushing into marriage?" My heart skipped a beat. 'Had Conrad done something behind my back without me knowing?' Seeing the panic on my face, Claire hurriedly waved her hands. "I'm just being cautious, okay? Think about it. What guy doesn't cheat when he gets the chance? Conrad is handsome, successful, and women throw themselves at him all the time. Why would someone like him fall head over heels for you? I mean... you're nice, but you're not exactly out of his league." I frowned. 'What was she trying to say?' I thought. 'Was she implying I wasn't good enough for my own boyfriend?' Realizing she'd gone too far, Claire quickly backtracked. "All I'm saying is that marriage is a once-in-a-lifetime decision. You should make sure you truly know what kind of person Conrad is before you marry him. There's no harm in taking your time." She paused before adding, "What if he shows his true colors after the wedding? What if he cheats on you, or even becomes abusive? Your whole life will be ruined." I hesitated. "So, what do you think I should do?" Claire's eyes lit up instantly. She grabbed my hand. "Give me Conrad's w******p account. I'll create a fake profile and add him. I'll test him a little. If he can resist the temptation, then I'll know he's a good man, and I'll finally feel at ease about you marrying him." 'That was a terrible idea.' It felt like a slap in Conrad's face. If I went through with something like that, it would mean I didn't trust him at all. It simply wasn't something I'd ever do. But Claire wouldn't let it go. She kept bringing it up until I finally gave in. "I'll think about it," I said. "I'll let you know later." Once I got home, I thought everything through from every possible angle before deciding to tell Conrad the whole story. 'If we're going to get married, we should be honest with each other.' Rather than pulling some ridiculous loyalty test behind his back, I'd much rather talk to him face to face. If there really was a problem, we'd find out before the wedding. If there wasn't, then there was nothing to worry about. I nervously told Conrad everything, fully expecting him to get angry. Instead, he laughed, reached over, and ruffled my hair. "Are you sure she's really your best friend? She sounds more like someone trying to steal your boyfriend." He shook his head, looking utterly unconvinced. "She's giving off such obvious pick-me vibes that I could see right through her the moment you started talking. Her little plan couldn't have been more transparent." I pouted and pulled my hand away. "Watch your mouth! We've been best friends for over ten years. We'd never let a guy come between us." Conrad opened his mouth as if he wanted to argue, but he stopped himself. After a brief pause, he smiled. "How about this? Create a fake w******p account yourself. Give it to Claire and tell her it's mine. Then use that account to chat with her." He leaned back with an amused smile. "Let's find out how she plans to 'test' me." Just as I was considering his suggestion, my phone buzzed. Right on cue, Claire sent another message, urging me to give her Conrad's w******p contact. 'I guess she's really determined.' I slapped my thigh. "Fine. Let's do it." I immediately created a new account and sent it to Claire. A second later, a notification popped up. Claire had already sent him a message on w******p. Claire: Hey there, handsome. I thought for a moment before replying in the same curt, no-nonsense tone Conrad always used. Conrad: Who are you? Her response came almost instantly. Claire: Who I am doesn't matter. What matters is, did you know your girlfriend has been cheating on you with multiple men behind your back? You're just the backup she's keeping around while she fools around with everyone else.
