Witches

Serene's POV

I woke up to guards shouting in my head, I looked at my clock to see only 6 am in the morning as I groaned and concentrated on what they were actually saying. 'witches' 'ahh' 'call the alpha' 'but she must sleeping' I heard a various number of voices before speaking 'you buffoons shut up you already woke me up and just defend dont attack I will be there in a moment' I yelled hearing a chorus of yes and okay's, I changed into black slacks and white oversized knitted sweater going out before concentrating to shift so I dont rip my clothes, why not use the abilities when I have them? I shifted into my big white wolf and sped towards the borders letting the foreign scents guide me, I saw more that a dozen witches standing tall without a scratch while my wolves were panting hard from exhaustion but with no severe damage I shifted back with my clothes intact only to hear gasps from the wolves. 

I stood with my game face on as I faced the witches "its true" the one in the front and seemed to be the oldest said and I quizzically arched an eyebrow, she quickly bowed with the others on cue, "stand" I said "the moon goddess led us to you because we had been struggling to find a leader and since you are born one the title goes to you." she completed in one go"wow alright, finish the ceremony" I said stepping towards her she nodded but halted "there are more than hundred witches in our coven you already have a large pack and vampire coven, are you sure you can do this?" she asked with concern I sighed and honestly I had no idea how I was going to manage it plus losing a mate at a time like this isn't helping much "if thats what I need to do" I reply facing her as she nods and starts the incantation. 

the sky goes dark rumbling and shooting lighting here and there, I can feel the power humming in the air and the witch takes my hand and I jolt open my eyes shivering from the impact and the sudden surge of energy before I go back to normal but I could feel the difference and my scent was different...again. "done, your majesty Serene" she said stepping back clearly exhausted. "ok- wait how do you know my name?..." I ask the witch but she just smiles knowingly I only sigh in response "the you would be living at isn't built yet, so I hope you can mange in the pack?" I ask them and the witch who performed the ritual smiles "why not test your powers, your majesty?" she says "sure..." I say "oh pardon me I am iduna" I nod and lead them into the clearing the progress of the villa had just started "all of you out, now!" I exclaimed as everyone ushered out looking confused yet curious. I closed my eyes letting my witch part surface "vehementi dolore collaudat magicis. stat hic sunt fortes parantur"  I muttered and opened my eyes to see a villa similar to the other two pack houses standing in front of me but with a magic aura, yet I had no idea how I knew the spell it was like it just came to me naturally, only if I had known earlier of my capabilities, what not would I have done and not run from the past like I do.

I pushed these thoughts in the back of m mind, right now I have something else to worry about "get settled I will send someone to help you understand how it works around her, you live in peace and harmony with the other creatures, any violence will not be tolerated, till then get acquainted and call the rest of the coven here, I need to keep all of you safe, its my duty" I spoke loud and clear and saw everyone nod before they wen inside. I was just passing by when I heard a group of girls, it was the same plastic blonde b***h from the other day, "before vampires and now witches the next we would know she would bring in the devils" the blonde sneered "you shouldn't be speaking like that she can kill you with the flick of her wrists" the brunette warned and I smirked "listen to your friend and you may live to see another day" I told her as I made myself known, I looked around to see the crowd had gathered around us, "you dont listen at once do you?" I said making my way towards her and she paled and showed her neck in submission. "good and do not, and I mean it do not disrespect your alpha or like I said before, you wont live to see another day" I replied through gritted teeth "woah sister didnt mother tell you I was leading the witches?" I heard a voice and instantly remembered the visit from mother yesterday, I turned around to look at the source of the voice to se a boy or man about one year older to me look at me with a Cheshire grin he had light green eyes and woodsy coloured hair with a chiseled face and nice body, he wore a simple black t-shirt and washed blue jeans. "hello brother" I said looking at him wide I shock, he was exactly what a nature god should look like whereas I was far from it he extended his arms and I jumped into them, "hi I am Frost, nice to meet you" he whispered only for me to hear "hi I am-" he cut me off "Serene, I know who you are because I am a stubborn boy from whom dear father cant hide anything from" I chuckled with him and pulled back, "c'mon lets get you settled in" I said motioning towards the pack house where I lived. "uhh sorry but would you mind if I wanted to stay in the witch pack house?" he said nervously, I nodded in understanding "no problem, I will have your luggage in the room you choose" I replied with a smile and we parted ways.

I went back into my office to see a familiar figure sitting on the passenger chair facing his back to me, "who are you?" I asked and he turned around my eyes widening in utter shock "h-how?" I muttered in disbelief "miss me?" he said in his deep voice, a voice I would never forget.
