Old Friend

Serene's POV

"c'mon is that how you greet your old friends nowadays?" he said frowning cutely and thats what it took for me to jump into his open arms and I seem to be doing that a lot lately "Oh my gosh Aiden, who woulda known you would come such a long way to the little ol' me" I said with a quiet laugh still latching on to him "sorry cupcake I had been busy with my pack in UK" he said placing me down. I know you might be confused who this is well, he is Aiden and his pack the nightfury pack in UK is one of the most elite packs like mine and his father provided me refuge for a long amount time when I was rogue before I had to leave for another place as I felt like becoming a burden to them, he was a year older than me and became a good friend of mine since I was only 12 and him 13. we had a thing between us that reminds me.."you found your mate?" I tilted my head "nope, travelled the world but couldnt find her" he replied with a hint of sadness "sorry" I said and pulled him into a hug again and he gladly hugged back, what surprised me was the faint sparks 'WHAT THE f**k?!' I screamed in my head 'SHUT IT YOURE GIVING ME A f*****g MIGRAINE' kris screamed back 'sorry.. but why do we feel a faint spark?!!!' I said controlling my screams 'looks like we need another visit from our mother' she replied with a sigh, 'great' I muttered. he seemed in shock too conversing with his wolf, we looked at each other happily though I would like Cole better as my second mate, he knows me better than anyone and that saves me the pain to merge another f*****g pack three are enough to handle and train. s**t training! "sorry Aiden but I have to go train some people, wanna come?" I asked "sure" he replied with a smile. dang I missed those light blue eyes and black hair, though he gone from scrawny to a guy with muscles and even looked intimidating, "and oh I got a witch coven and vampire coven so try not growling at them, they dont take insults lightly and I wont stop it" I warned with a casual tone "ookay, the little girl grew into the most scariest alphas huh?" he said with...pride? and I just laughed "you haven't seen the scary me yet boi" I said rolling my eyes and he just laughed "sure" "lets go" and he nodded following me to the training grounds. 

"ALRIGHT EVERYONE LINE UP AS PER YOUR CAPABILITIES, ZACK AND TIM HELP THEM" I shouted getting everyone's attention, I hate spotlight doesn't help the fact that you are a frickin alpha and tomorrow is school after easter holidays, yeah even the big bad alpha has to attend school though its the last year since I am 17 wohoo. I taught a few defence and offence moves before setting them against each other, the ones who arent good at fighting help in strategies section and patrolling, where they dont have to do major fighting. "alright listen up everyone, I will be installing a safety barrier against these vast lands because sometimes reaching there can take delay we cannot afford to have, got it?" and they replied with a nod, I channeled my witch part and I knew my eyes were glowing purple some had still not gotten used to it but they had no issues with it, the witches came running sensing magic and I was glad they came this proved their loyalty from heart "nemo intret autem creaturam donec veniat nit Alpha et prope nihil patitur." I finished and stumbled trying to keep my balance before I could fall Tim was there keeping me up, wow this s**t takes up a lot of energy I think everyone could see the glowing blue powder turning up like an invisible veil in the shape of a dome,  the members already inside could go out and in, but the foreign ones not so much, like the alphas giving me surprise visits ends now, hush finally. "h-how did you know that spell?" iduna said "it came to me like the other one" I replied "well no one, not even the coven queen had the ability to do that since it takes up too much of energy but here you are still talking to me without even passing out" she said amused and the witched behind her mirrored the same expression "well they werent me" I smirked and some cracked up even iduna cracked a smile "they sure werent your majesty" "oh enough with the your majesty you can call me serene" I said waving my  hand like dismissing the term "alright" she replied with a smile. 'where are you?' I linked Cole 'near the borders, why?' that dimwit 'come to the training grounds please?' I whined 'why serene?' he asked and I could practically hear the smirk in his voice, asshole 'cause I miss you?' I said really shyly, s**t I forgot I even had that trait. 'wait for me princess I'll be there in a moment' I smiled at the nickname 'sure' I replied and cut off the link, I could feel the butterflies in my stomach but they vanished when I saw caspian making his way towards me. "alpha" he said and I replied with a curt nod "the silver crest and bloodstone are having issues" I let out an annoyed sigh, this wasnt the first time "what now?" I asked "the former Lunas" he said looking down fanfuckingtastic before I left I turned to Aiden who looked bewildered "hey? how long are you staying?" I asked "as tempting as a few days sounds, I'll be leaving now, I was here to meet the infamous hybrid alpha" he smiled "anddd you found me" I said "I will send Tim to escort you to the airport, I have some.. stuff to handle" I said "oh no need for the escort I can manage, and can I hope for help when in need?" he asked "we will sign the proper alliance tomorrow through conference" I replied and he smiled "keep in touch" I said before he walked away giving me a nod. turning back to caspian I nodded telling him to lead the way.'change of plans meet me I the woods between silver crest and bloodstone pack houses' I informed Cole 'alright' he said 

I reached to see Mary hissing being a vampire and Skylar aka former luna of bloodstone growling being wolf, I growled snapping their attention to me "I thought I made it clear I do not appreciate violence" I said through gritted teeth, "stay out of this and let the adults handle this" Mary hissed "only if you were being an adult I would not have had to intervene" I hissed back "apologies alpha but she has no right to talk s**t about my pack when she couldnt handle her own" Skylar said ending with a growl directed towards Mary, atleast someone had the courtesy to see what I can do "did you?" I asked Mary "I just said her pack is weak  for living in this protected balloon" Mary replied with a smug smile "you can leave" I said my anger getting hard to control "what?!" she said facing me "you can leave if you have a problem living in this 'protected balloon' and become a rogue, I could care less" I said wanting to snap her neck in two "n-no, s-sorry alpha" she stammered "you better be because next time I wont think twice before throwing you out" I said and I felt arms wrap around my waist shooting sparks in my whole body "shh calm down" Cole said that instantly calmed me down and I looked around to see roots dancing in the sky and I instantly made them go back down, that explains the look of horror from the three. I heard a growl coming from caspian his face contorting in anger, 'who does he think he is' kris said and I could see her face shifting to disgust "get your hands off her" caspian growled and Cole hissed tightening his grip on my waist "make me" he said before caspian could do anything and Cole killed him I growled, "stop being a b***h, he is my mate" I said and then did I realise 'stupid human' Alyssa said 'like you are very smart' I retorted and we heard kris laugh 'fools' she said. I looked up at Caspian and he did not look please, eh who cares? "he's what!?" we heard him "oh shut up, and quit bothering me, my life is none of your concern" I told him before facing Cole "lets go back, we need to have a chat with mother" I said and he pecked my lips making me blush furiously before taking off. "welp mother quit being a lovesick fool" I said when we reached my office and there she was in all her glory with a man who had a crown of leaves and his hair was woodsy brown like Frost, "f-father?"
