Serene's POV

I woke up to sun shining on my face as I cautiously took in my surroundings, I realised I was in my room 'Harry must brought me here after I blacked out' 'yes, I can smell his scent lingering' said Kris 'now get up, its our ceremony tonight' Alyssa piped in 'dont remind me' I told her as I groaned making my way the bathroom and doing my daily routine. there was only one thing keeping me from being on the run again and that was Harry, he had done so much for me and I couldn't let him down when he needed me. I sighed as I got into the hot shower, it trickled down my hair and body relaxing myself. I saw the scar on my left eye. it was a claw mark running from my a little above my eyebrow to barely missing my eye and ending a little below it. I shuddered at the memory of my father trying to kill me. that day I had lost all faith in alphas being protective pf their families and ran before Harry found me. I realised I was still in shower so I quickly shampooed my hair wash myself and got out of the shower wrapping a fluffy towel around me. I picked out matching lace black underwear with a beige baggy t-shirt and my ripped denim shorts. I let my hair dry naturally as they are feathery just the way I like them being chocolate brown with light greenish blue faded tips. I made my way downstairs recalling the look of horror on Harry's face. it was the only second time he had seen me like this and the three of us promised not to do int as I reassured to give them control when I felt it was needed. the first time was when I was transforming back after he found me. Me and my girlies are mostly on the same page, mostly. Surprisingly running from our mate was one of them, both of them were relying on me to do what was right and Alyssa didnt fight but I could feel her pain and I asked if she wanted me to give in but she refused 'we have a reputation to hold up' she had said. "whats with the frown?" Harry asked as he made his way towards me, I hadn't realised I had been frowning so I smiled seeing the old man whose position I'd be taking tonight. "nothing, just thinking if I can handle it" I lied being used to it by now I couldnt let him worry too much after me. he looked at me "I know you can stop thinking so much thats my job!" he stated as I laughed with him soon joining in. "thanks, I needed that" I said gratefully "anytime moon" I smiled at the nickname. he gave it to me because he said I brightened his dark life like the moon brightened the night and drove the darkness away. I made my way to my room getting ready for the ceremony as I saw the hyper pack members getting everything in place.
