"can we have an alliance?" he asked like a lost puppy and this was because I had not been breathing from my nose because I knew his scent would intoxicate me but now it was becoming harder as my wounds were very severe as I had taken every rogue by myself without any help when I asked them to stand down. I couldn't risk my population. I knew I had gained heavy respect from the three sides but my wounds were too many and it was taking everything for me to keep masking my scent and keep standing there. "yes" I said softly not wasting any energy. Zack moved forward to help me when I winced from trying to walk but I put my hand up indicating him that I didnt need help. Cole had backed down seeing Zack because I had been with him longer but I gave Cole a look and he instantly by my side as he lifted me bridal style.from the corner of my eyes I saw Zack with a pained look on his face but I dismissed it, he has caused me greater heartbreak. I hadn't looked Caspian in the eyes but he came in front of me asking Cole to lift me, I had a confused look on my face 'he has the sense of possessiveness even if he doesn't know, its the instinct' Alyssa said in my head 'oh' was only I could muster 'should I let him in?' I asked both of them 'yes' they sad in unison and I told Cole to put me down and I started breathing from my nose when his scent hit me, it smelt like vanilla with a hint of chocolate I instantly unmasked my scent and his face widened in shock and I just smiled. at the same time we said "mate", my heart broke a little when I saw horror in his eyes 'does he not want me?' I asked Alyssa 'I-i dont know' she stammered 'maybe this was a bad idea' Kristene said slowly and I knew all three of us were trying not to break down before he was hugging me and I hugged back almost immediately and my treacherous sobs escaped but I quickly shut up. we were relieved and then I realised that he was only a wolf 'hey Kristene what about the beloved thing?' I asked half fearing that she would abandon me 'mate beloved same thing, we are the first of our kind but we are lucky to have them both in the same person, he has the same effect on me as you and Alyssa' I sighed in relief. and looked up to see his light brown hazel eyes as he stared into my black ones. "lets go, my coven can start bring their things in tonight and live in the spare pack house we had built for emergencies, it should be big enough to fit in most of you the rest can build tents and tom we have loads of work to do as now that both are combined we extend our land and build more houses." I finished and the coven cheered along with the pack. "now lets start. I am sorry I am unable to help you due to my wounds but I will participate tomorrow, by then these wounds shall be healed" I said as Cole came forward and I felt Caspian tighten his hold on me 'aww he is protective' Alyssa said while bouncing in my head I let out a laugh inwardly before regaining my emotionless face. "thank you queen" he said as he bowed I smiled "its serene for you and no need to say thank you its my duty to make sure my people. are safe and no harm comes to them" everyone cheered. vampires can stay up whole night and be refreshed in the morning after 1 hr of sleep that was our advantage but asked the wolves to rest after confirming they would be Able to handle everything. "if there is even the slightest problem link me and I will be here" everyone nodded as the wolves went back to the pack and I undressed along with Caspian taking a detour to the pack lands. it isn't a crime to make love the first day is it? *wink wink*
