Yennefer arrived at GreyOak pack in the early hours of the morning. The storm had passed but the rain still fell in a heavy drizzle. Her dress and hair were totally drenched.
She banged on the door heavily and yelled out. "Mother!"
The door opened and Ophelia stood there, holding a lantern. Algernon came behind her and his eyes widened in surprise.
"Yennefer, what in the world?" Ophelia pulled her inside and shut the door again. "What happened? What are you doing here?"
"What am I doing here?" Yennefer repeated. "Isn't this my home?"
"Of course it is honey, but I thought the Alpha locked you up."
"Did you escape?" Algernon asked sharply.
