Episode1: Emma’s murder
Detective Sarah Brooks sat at her desk, staring at the pile of paperwork in front of her. She had been working on the case of the murdered girl for weeks now, but no matter how many leads she followed, she couldn't seem to get any closer to solving the case.
The girl, whose name was Emma Wilson, had been found dead in a field just outside of town. She had been strangled to death, and there were signs that she had been sexually assaulted as well. It was a gruesome crime, and Sarah was determined to bring Emma's killer to justice.
She dug through the file again, looking for any new leads or clues that she might have missed. She had interviewed Emma's friends and family, as well as anyone else who had been in the vicinity of the crime scene on the night of Emma's murder. But so far, nothing had panned out.
As she was about to give up for the night, Sarah's phone rang. It was her partner, Detective James Reed.
"Sarah, I think I have a lead on the case," James said excitedly. "I just got a call from a witness who claims to have seen a suspicious man hanging around the field where Emma's body was found."
Sarah's heart raced with anticipation. This could be the break they had been waiting for.
"Where is this witness now?" Sarah asked.
"They're at the station, waiting to speak with us," James replied.
Sarah wasted no time in gathering her things and heading to the station. When she arrived, she was met by a nervous-looking young man who introduced himself as Peter Reynolds.
