Anime Reality

Episode 2

"Girls, quit it." Lena says, pushing the cart. Rose and Ellie trailed behind the girl, shoving one another to try and make the other lose their balance. Immediately the two stop before they looked among the shelves for anything they wanted to buy. 

"What do you girls want? Vinegar chips? Cookies? Potentially a condom" Lena joked.

"Haha, very funny of you." Ellie replied in sarcasm. "But I do want some vinegar chips." She grabbed a big bag of vinegar chips from the shelf before tossing it into the cart. 

Lena chuckles. "What're you girls craving for dinner tonight? I'll be cooking as usual." Lena knew how lazy her two friends were. Not to mention how Rose literally didn't know how to use a knife. The girl has no braincells when it comes to making food. 

"Can you buy some chicken?" Ellie asked kindly with puppy eyes that made Lena wanna cringe. "I want that and some rice porridge!"

"Ooh rice porridge sounds good!" Rose cheers. "The way you make it tastes so good." 

"All right, now help me grab the ingredients Rose. Ellie, go get the chicken, here." Lena says and hands Ellie the money to get the chicken from the meat and seafood section of the store. Ellie takes the money before running off to get the raw meat. 

Lena and Rose turn into the spices section. They were running out of cayenne pepper at the house so Lena knew she needed to buy more if she was going to fry some chicken. Finding the spice, she noticed how it was the last one on the shelf. Going to reach it, another hand goes to grab it as well. Looking to see who the person was, she was stunned to see it was a pretty girl looking back right at her. 

"Oh I'm sorry." The woman says before pulling away.

"Ah, no it's okay." Lena says as she stops herself from looking at the girl. With a smile, she grabs the spice before placing it in the girls' hand. "Take it. I still have at home." Before the girl could reject her, Lena and Rose left the aisle to find the rest of the ingredients for their dinner. 

Once knowing the pair was gone, the girl snickered before placing the spice back on the shelf, her arms crossed above her chest. "Lena Davis, huh?" She says to herself before laughing. In just a blink of an eye, the girl vanishes from her spot as if she wasn't there to begin with. 

"Dude she was hot! Why didn't you get her number or something!" Rose complained to her friend. Rolling her eyes at the girl, Lena looks over the list of ingredients needed to cook the rice porridge to look over what other ingredients she might need to buy for the food.

"You should know very well I don't care about relationships." She says, not looking up from the list.

Rose scoffs. "Let me guess, it's because 'oh I only like 2D anime girls who acts all cute and shy'." The girl dramatically whines. 

"What did you say?" Lena spoke as she glares at her friend. "You dumb ass, you're Japanese you know."

"And? What does my cultural heritage have to do with any of this?" Rose says. "You could've landed some great ass p***y but noooo, all you want is those typically anime girls!"

"Oh please, I'd rather be alone than date a regular girl. At least anime girls wouldn't cheat on me." 

"Yeah like who? That Yumeko Hana girl from your favorite anime?" 

"I will have you know that in the anime, Hana is everyones dream girl. She's shy and cute and still manages to have this attractive side to her, so f**k off." Lena replied. "Anyways, where's Ellie? I'm finished getting the ingredients and our groceries."

"Right here." Ellie says. Looking behind, them the two see their friend return with a bag full of chicken. 

"All right, let's go pay."

"I'm so full!" Ellie says with a wide grin on her face. After paying for the groceries, the three roommates headed back to their home and Lena immediately started cooking. Over an hour later the food was ready and the three ate quick due to hunger. As usual, Ellie ate the most.

"Thank you Lena!" Rose says with a toothless smile. Humming, Lena takes the girls' plates and her own before putting them in the sink and washing them.

"Wow such a wife material." Ellie comments, watching her friend rinsing the dishes.

"And you'd be a great roommate if you'd clean the table." Lena says, not looking back to see her friend. Clicking her tongue, Eliie does as said of Y/N.Without being asked, Rose goes to finish putting away other groceries that were still left out since they got back to their apartment. 

Finishing the dishes, Lena wipes her hand down with the kitchen cloth and goes to help Rose finish putting away everything where it's suppose to be. When Ellie was done making sure there wasn't a mess on the table the girl runs off to the living room to lay down with her big stomach from the amount of food she ate. The moment Lena and Rose had put away all the things they thought, Rose runs off to where Ellie sat. Lena turned off the kitchen lights but immediately notices the grey sky forming in the sky outside.

"It's going to be rainy night then, huh..." She thought and sighs as she goes to join her roommates in the living room. The television was already on with Rose and Ellie watching some random late night show. 

"Oh my god, Shae posted a new picture." Rose says before showing her phone to her friends to show them the cute girl she has been gushing about since she first laid eyes on her. In the picture showed a pale girl with dark brown hair and eyes in a cafe. She was smiling wide with a coffee mug close to her lips. "Why is she so cute?" 

"No clue." Ellie said uninterested as her eyes go back to the tv screen. 

"Oooh, look at this." Rose says before showing Ellie the next post after. It showed another one of their classmates from school, Jenny Locket. Ellie immediately looks at the post and coeds. 

"Now she is cute." 

"Oh please, the girl talks like such a dude." 

"She's a basketball player and more masculine than feminine." Ellie replied. 

"Yeah but please, Shae does archery. That's hot and not something common you'd see." said Rose. The two began to bicker about which girl was, for some reason, more superior than the other. Lena sighs and gets up from her seat and throws the pillow back onto the couch. 

"This is wh ymy crush is non-existent." She says and leaves the room. "I'm headed to my room. Night lesbians." Bidding Lena a goodnight, Ellie and Rose continued to bicker the moment their friend was gone. Lena closes the door to her room before jumping into her bed and sliding under her covers until she got cozy.

The girl didn't sleep immediately. Instead, she went on her phone and even ended up playing some mobile shooting games. Lena would play on the xbox, but the television was occupied by her two friends. Not to mention Rose accidentally spilled her orange juice on the game console a couple months ago. The girl promised to buy Lena a new one.

"Yes!" Lena cheers silently to herself after winning another ranked match. She stretches on her bed before looking at the time. It was almost one in the morning. "s**t, I should head to bed." She says before plugging in the charger to her phone and making sure her alarm was on for tomorrow morning. Turning off her lights, the girl gets back under the covers and closes her eyes as she gradually falls asleep. 

But as Lena fell asleep, what she didn't hear was her window being opened slowly until wide open. Out of nowhere, a female figure floats into the room, landing her feet on the ground and stares at the sleeping figure in bed with a smirk. 

"Lena Davis. I shall make your dream become a reality." She says, walking ever so softly closer to the girl. Leaning close to Lena's peaceful face, the smirk on her lips never. Seeing Lena in a calm state and steady breathing, she began to chant. 

"As dark as it be on a fine night as is,

a light shall shine just for you in the dark mists.

With the power of love and happiness that comes your way,

I shall finally grant your very eager wish.

For what you want reality, it may come true.

Continue to dream, for tomorrow you have no clue

that who you want will become reality as you awaken,

And finally, Lena Davis, you will be taken."

With a bright shining light illuminating from Lena's room, the unknown girl made the unthinkable become actuality. Smiling satisfied, the female takes her leave back from the window and closing it shut as she disappears like she was never there. But, she left a surprise for the sleeping Lena who has yet to realize not what, but who, was now sleeping besides her.
