"Are you seeing what I'm seeing?" Ian asked. "This is crazy! How is it possible?" Red added. "Yes! As what you can see. This is totally unbelievable. I thought so too at first," Drake said. "But, wake up people she is Sab and not our Samantha. Remember that." "Hey! Mr.Unknown? Do you really think that you can speak to me after what happened this morning? I'm not your girl. Get it? That means you don't have the right to lecture me. One more thing, I came here for work and not to get drunk or to seduce anyone. If that is what you're thinking.Oh wait, why am I explaining anyway? You're just no one. Hmmm. Are you following me? Am I that beautiful that you really need to follow me until here?" Derrek smirked. "Your dreams are too high. Careful because you might fall. I'm here with my band because of work as well. To burst your bubble, I'm not following you, and honestly I were to follow a girl, I guess that wouldn't be you! So stop dreaming!" Derrek said angrily. "Let's go, let's go to the other table," he suggest to his band. Even though the five were still confused, they joined him in moving to another table. "Bro, this whole situation creeps me out. She really looked like your ex-I-i mean." "It's okay, Lev. It's probably okay that she's not Sam. They are both different people and I can really tell the big difference. Just ignore her, Lev." "Alright," he agreed. "By the way, where is the manager of this club? I thought he was here?" Derrek asked. "Oh yeah! Before I forgot," Lev pulled out his phone from his pocket and dialed the number and gave it to Derrek. "H-hello ma'am. We're here at your bar. We've been waiting for a while. Where are you?" "Me too-I've been waiting here for a while," the voice said on the other line. "Where are you so we can talk about the deal?" Derrek asked. "Look the other way," the voice replied. Derrek then looked at the other tables and searched. There, he saw her give a playful smile. That Sabrina! "What the hell?" he exclaimed. "So, you are saying that you are the owner of this club?" Drake repeated. They all still couldn't believe it when Lev introduced her to them. Fate really loves to make fun of people. Sab just nodded. "I'm Sabrina Celestina Caballo, the manager of Ka-BarO." "Hi ma'am. I'm Levi, the manager of this band." Levi extended his hand here and Sab immediately accepted it. He introduced his companions to her one by one. "This blonde-haired man, this is Ian. He is our drummer. He is the youngest of us." The guy he is referring to has thick eyebrows, pointed nose, and thin lips. The curl eyelashes made him more attractive. "This is Drake, guitarist and the second vocalist."He pointed to the mischievous looking man. His eyes are beautiful, he has double eyelids just like others. His nose is also sharp, his lips are slightly thick. Among them he has the more defined jawline. "This is Red, who is a bit thin, he is the one playing the accordion or piano." Red is a bit like a K-pop idol. His eyes are not so thin. His nose is also sharp and his lips are small. His style is really K-pop. "This one only speaks to us once. He is Foster, he is with Drake on the guitar." This Foster has a mysterious presence. His eyes are wide and his nose is just right. His eyebrows and eyelashes are thick. They shook hands with Sab one by one. "And the one you were talking to earlier." He pointed to Derrek who was far away from them and had his back turned. "He is Derrek. He is our lead singer." Derrek is the tallest of them and for the girl he is also the most appealing. "It's a shame he's a jerk," Sab whispered. "So his name is Derrek. His name seems familiar to me. I just can't remember it," she said. "Familiar? You don't remember it? Why? Did you happen to have an accident?" Drake asked hoping for a reason that she can be linked to Samantha. "How did you know?" she asked in surprise. "Ah, just a guess! You know you are familiar to us too," Drake said as he examined his face. "Really? Well, I'm not surprised since many people have told me that too. Like they know me. They say I look just like the person they know. That's nothing new to me." "Maybe you really do. Or maybe you have something like a twin?" Drake asked again. "Don't you have a sibling?" Sab's smile faded slightly. "Me? Ah- I-i'm alone. My mom said she didn't want to have another child so they didn't bear another one after me. Why did you ask?" "Oh is that so? I just thought that if you have siblings she might be as beautiful as you. You know genetics, being pretty runs in you-" Levi motioned for Drake to stop so he apologize and zips his mouth. Sab invited them to a decent place to discuss the contract. Derrek, on the other hand, remained silent for a moment while following them. "Confirmed!" Drake shouted, surprising everyone. Red throw him a grumpy face. "You're making a noise. What do you mean it's confirmed?" "It's confirmed that Sam isn't really Sab." "We knew it. Why shout it again. You little brat!" "Wait, where's Derrek?" Drake search for him. "He's out for some fresh air. I pity our friend you know. If I were in his situation, I'd probably be stressed too. Think of it, he approved being here to forget his ex but look what he found here, a girl having a resemblance of someone he wants to disappear on his mind. Take note, he's also the owner of the bar we're going to work if ever. That means they'll be seeing each other all the time. Maybe Derrek won't be able to move on anymore because of her or else his pain will be much worst. " "Yeah, I understand you," Drake agreed. "Talk to him, Lev," Red ordered. "I guess we need to consult him first before we accept this gig. Afterall he is our lead vocal and our friend. We can't force him if he don't want to for the sake of his peace." They all agreed. So Levi make his move out and look for Derrek. "Hey! Are you okay?" Lev handed a can of beer to Derrek, whose been watching afar. "I'm fine," he said and took a sip of the beer he just opened. "We can cancel this gig if you're not comfortable, man. We still have a lot to apply for." "No! We can't cancel it. I made up my mind. Sam's appearance won't break my promise to you again. I'll deal with her." "But Derrek, you don't have to sacrifice your feelings for us." "You're my friends. That's why we have to do this. Don't worry about me. I will be fine. We're going to continue this gig until we become regulars." "Are you sure? You really want to do this?" He nodded. "Okay. Then, let's cheers to that. Cheers for your new life?" Levi raised his can of beer and Derrek did the same and drank it together. "Well, we're not going to let you just drink alone," Drake said who has been eavesdropping with the other members. He took out the beer he had bought. Outside the staff house they had a drink. "For the new life. For the healed Derrek!" They all raised their bottles. Derrek smiled while seeing his friends happy. For him, he shouldn't be selfish. For two years, they sacrificed for him. Now, it is his time to make it up to all of them.
