I woke up to the sunshine beaming through the window. I sat up in bed I glanced at the spot next to me it was empty but still warm. I could hear the shower running in the bathroom. I laid back in bed and closed my eyes. Todays going to be along day I thought to myself. Then the bathroom door opened I could feel him getting closer me till his breath was on the side off my neck he kissed me I couldn’t help the smile that formed on my lips.

“Good morning beautiful” Nikali whispers. I open my eyes and smile at the sight in front off me. Nothing but a towel around his waist his hair towel dried but still wet enough to cling to his forehead. I’m so blessed.

“Good morning, I can get use to this wake up call!” Nikali gives me a cheeky grin and pecks my lips.

“For the rest off our lives this is what you will see” he says. I giggle and hop out off bed and make my way to the bathroom for a quick shower. Once showered I make my way back in the bedroom to find Nikali had laid clothes out for me.

“How did you get my clothes?”

“I mind linked Jordan to fetch some from your room. Mine would be too big and we have training”

I slip into my sweatpants and sports b*a. I put my hair in a tight messy bun.

“Put this on” Nikali throws one off his shirts. I give him a questionable look and he chuckles.

“I don’t want unmated wolfs looking at you!” Raising my eyebrow at him I slip the shirt on. And we make our way to the hall for breakfast.

“Good morning everyone”

“Good morning my queen” Jordan and Micheal say in unison, I give them a disapproving look.

“Please no formalities! Rose is just fine” they both nod.

“Good morning Rose” Kyle Leo and maya greet me giving me a quick hug before sitting in our places.

Luca isn’t at the table this morning probably still avoiding me. I hate that it’s come to this situation between us. I will have to clear this up before I leave. I sit next to Nikali and he plated my food and we all start eating we have light conversation. Once finished I make my way to the gym to warm up before training. Once at the gym I make my way over to the punch bags, I wrap my hands then start my session. Thirty minutes into my session I could sense eyes watching me I turn in that direction to see Luca stood by the door watching me.

“Do you want to talk or you just going to keep watching me?” He makes his way over to me and sits down on the bench I take a seat next to him and start un wrapping my hands.

“I’m sorry Rose” he looks like he hasn’t slept in awhile. He places his head in his hands.

“Luca look. I know you mean well but I have a lot going on with out you making more for me. I have people that are trying to kidnap or even kill me for reasons I’m not sure on. I don’t need you to judge my actions when it’s comes to Nikali and I. I just need my friend to be there for me” he looks at me and gives me one off his cheeky smiles. Wraps his arm around my shoulder and pulls me into a hug.

“I’m sorry rose. I never meant to hurt you. I’ve just always been the one to comfort you and look out for you and then the king comes along and I felt like he was taking you off me” I pull away and smile at him.

“I’m sorry to Luca I don’t like arguing with you. Anyway I’ve got training you coming to the field?” He nods and we make our way down to the field with my guards close by the field also had several fighters around it. I walk up to Nikali who’s waiting in the middle of the field.

“You ready?” I ask

“As ready as I’m ever gonna be” he winks at me. I role my eyes.

“Let’s go shift behind the tree I like these clothes” motioning to the tree. We both go behind the tree and shift we make our way back to the field.

“Right one hour of combat. Kick his a*s rose” Leo says.

“3.2.1. GO.” Leo says.

I could see Nikali watching my every move waiting for me to pounce but we just circled each other he tilted his head to the side and made his first move he was fast but my wolf was faster. He tried pouncing from the back but I moved, he fell to the floor I took the chance to pounce on him I dug my claws in his shoulder not to deep but enough to make him bleed and whimper he kicked me off with his back paws I landed against a tree I was quick to recover. I growled at him and pounced on his back I dug my claws in either side of his chest to which he whimpered and fell to the ground i backed away and he got up. We circled each other some more until Leo signalled training was over. We walked to the tree shifted. We put our clothes on and we made our way to the group.

“Your wolf is really strong taking out the Alfa king is hard for any other wolf” Jordan looked surprised. They all looked at me with surprised expressions. I just smirked and shrugged my shoulders.

“Yes I think one hour worth off training is enough we don’t won’t your wolf using all her strength. Leo your training session will be tomorrow morning and Kyles the next then Luca’s after that then my beta and gammas after that and we’ll work like that until we are equal strength” Nikali says they all nod in agreement.

“Come I have a surprise date for us” I nod and follow his lead. We make our way to the pack house and to Our room.

“This is we’re our date is?” He chuckles and shakes his head.

“No I thought you’d like to shower first and change but wear something comfortable” I make my way into the shower.

Nikali’s POV

While rose is taking a shower I start getting ready for our date that I’ve planned.I walk over to closet and pick out a pair of black suit pants and a white shirt once dressed I look in the mirror and play with my hair applying some gel to keep it in place I put on my watch and gold chain. I take one final look in the mirror before writing Rose a note then head out of and down to the ballroom to see the preparations for tonight. Once in the ballroom I make my way over to Alfa Leo.

“How’s things going and how long until people start arriving?”

“Everything is on time and guests start arriving at six”

“Thank you. If you will excuse me” he shakes my hand and I make my way over to Jordan.

“I need two guards to come with me” he stares at me a bit confused.

“Why?” He asks still confused.

“I’m taking rose on a date” he nods his eyes glass over.

“They’ll be waiting by the car”

“Thank you” I make my way over to Micheal.

“I want you to come with me”

“Come where?” He asks

“On my date”

“Ok I’ll wait at the car”

I take one more look around the room and start making my way back to rose. I stop at the sound of someone calling my name I look towards the voice and maya is making her way towards me.

“King Nikali”

“Please just call me Nikali. What can I help you with maya” she nods her head and looks at the floor before looking back at me.

“Nikali may I ask you a question?” I nod ‘yes’ and she continues.

“How much danger is Rose in and do you think it’s a good idea that we have this ball tonight with Rose being in danger?” I take a minute before answering We’re all still unsure how much danger she is in I take a deep breath and answer.

“I’m not sure we just need to make sure she’s safe and yes I think tonight is a good idea the packs that are attending are allies and they know who she is and there not willing to make any trouble, everything is in place to ensure that rose is safe” she nods giving me a smile.

“Thank you Nikali. I would say she’s lucky to have you but your lucky to have her. I will see you at the ball” she smiles.

“I agree I’m very lucky to have Rose in my life. She will be treated like a queen and not because she is one but because she deserves nothing less.” I give her a smile and head back to my room.

Rose’s POV

Once showered I make my way into the bedroom and Nikali is nowhere. I look around and there’s a note on the bed.

Rose

Just gone to check on the preparations for tonight won’t be long. Don’t dress to fancy. I’ll come back and get you. I love you.

Nikali x

I make my way to the closet and pick out my outfit, a pair of nude heels pink trousers white shirt and pink blazer I place my outfit on the bed. I make my way over to my vanity table to do my hair I put it in a high pony and put light make up on. I make my way over to the bed to get dressed once dressed I have quick glance in the mirror and make my way over to the door. Nikali is standing at the door once he notices me he stands there staring me up and down taking every inch of me in. I can’t help but blush and smile at him.

“Like what you see”

“Very much you look stunning” he places a soft kiss on my cheek and we make our way down to the car.

Once out off the pack house theirs not a car waiting but a limo I look at Nikali completely socked. He chuckles and opens the door for me to get in I shuffle over and he gets in beside me. Micheal sitting in the back with us and two guards in the front.

“Good afternoon Rose” Micheal greets and give him a smile.

“You will come in the venue with us but stay back so we don’t draw attention” Nikali tells Micheal and he nods. I look up at Nikali and he smiles while placing a hand on my thigh. We make our way to the venue. We get out the car I take in my surroundings it’s breathtaking I stand in my spot not able to move.

“Do you like?”

“It’s breathtaking”

“Good I’m glad you like it I wanted it to be a special date.” I place a small kiss to his lips. He wraps his arm around me and walks me over to the blanket where a picnic is set out. Its so romantic a picnic on the beach even if we had guards surrounding us. We sit on the blanket and he hands me a glass off soda. We eat and talk until the sun starts to set.

“Come let’s get back you need to get ready for the ball” we make our way back to the pack house.

“I had your gown moved to mayas room she’s going to help you get ready and then I will come fetch you”

“We’re not getting ready together?” I was a shocked since he hasn’t been letting me out off his sight.

“No I want it to be surprised”

“Ok then I’ll meet you in ballroom?” He chuckled and nodded.

Once inside I made my way to mayas room I knocked on the door and waited for her to let me in, the door opened and she dragged me in the room.

“Geez maya”

“Come get ready! Do you need to shower?”

“Nope”

“Good sit let’s do your hair” I sit at the vanity table and she immediately starts doing my hair while I redo my makeup. Once she’s done she ushers me to get my gown on. Once we are both ready we look at our selfs in the mirror.

“You look stunning maya”

“Thank you. As do you” we give each other a hug and make our way to the ballroom. The doors to ballroom were closed but I could here the speech that Nikali was giving on the other side.

Nikali’s POV

I walked into the ballroom and it was beautiful they did an excellent job the guests were having a good time everyone was talking to each other and they were just enjoying each other’s company. Kyle walked towards me.

“They are on there way down” with that I make my to the stage to make my speech I cleared my throat and everyone went silent I scanned the room and everyone was waiting for me to start.

“Welcome everyone. As you all know I have been travelling for the last six months trying to find my mate and future queen it hasn’t been an enjoyable journey as I went from pack to pack in search off her in the end I made the decision that I would pick someone as my mate if I fount someone that took my eye. With that being said I’m glad I waited I came to this pack a week ago and I’m so thankful because I met my mate and my life has been amazing ever since so please everyone I would like to welcome my mate and my queen Rose”

The ballroom doors opened and everyone turned their gazed to the most beautiful woman I have ever laid my eyes upon she looked even more stunning than ever she took my breath away. I made my way over to were she was stood and pulled her into chest and placed a small kiss on her cheek and whispered that she looked stunning into her ear. She blushed and placed her hand on my chest.

“Your speech was amazing!”

“Thank you! I meant every word. Your amazing and worth the wait my queen”

I pull her to the centre off the ballroom for our dance. I pull her against me and the music starts. I can feel she’s nervous I dip my head so my lips brush her ear.

“Your safe here rose”

“All these people come here for you?” She asks looking around at all the different alfas and Lunas from neighbouring packs.

“No they came here to meet their queen” she looks up at me and I lean and place a soft kiss to her lips. Once the song is finished I lead us to our table. Everyone else is seated and another speech Leo clears his throat and the room goes silent once again.

“Good evening everyone. It’s my pleasure to have you all here tonight to celebrate king Nikali and our future queen rose. I have known rose for many years she is truly an amazing person and I have no doubt that she will make an amazing queen. King Nikali you are truly blessed to have a mate like rose may happiness be with both of you” everyone cheers and claps. Now it’s my turn.

“Thank Alfa Leo for your kind words. I also agree that rose is going to make an amazing queen. And I’m also very blessed to have rose. Please everyone enjoy the night and I hope to speak to most off you tonight. Thank you all for attending.” I raise my glass and take a seat and the waiters start bringing the food out. Once we all ate I make my way over to one off the alfas.

“King Nikali, nice to see you again”

“Alfa Anderson. How are things?”

“Good. Congratulations on meeting our queen. I hope everything works out and please don’t hesitate to ask for help if needed we wouldn’t won’t anything to happen to our queen!”

“Thank Anderson hopefully nothing will come of it but i will be sure take your offer if needed.” I look around the room looking for rose she’s talking to a group of lunas I make my way over to her.

“The man of the hour”

“Luna grace”

“I’m just getting to know your queen!” Me and grace have a history. Spiteful woman.

“I see”

“No need to look so nervous Nikali”

“Nikali?” Rose raises an eyebrow at me surprised that we’re in first name basis.

“It’s King Nikali!”

“Ohh please. We are friends are we not?”

“No we are not! We Have not been for two years I thought I made that clear. When I kicked you out of my pack!”

“Kick me out I left!” She spat. A tall man walked up behind her.

“Grace is everything okay?” The man asked he’s an alfa. Not one I’ve met before he’s young to. He looks up at me when grace doesn’t answer.

“King Nikali. Is their a problem?”

“Yes your Luna seems to forget her place!”

“Her place?” He asks

“Yes he’s the Alfa of my old pack” finally she speaks.

“How did you two meet? And what’s your name Alfa?” I ask him.

“My name is Alfa James I recently took over my fathers pack. And we met..” he was cut.

“It’s none off your business how we met!” She spat

“I’m your king! Have some respect!”

“Grace I think we should leave!” James grabs her arm trying to lead her out the room!

“I think that’s a good idea. Thank you for attending James I hope to meet you again soon” I say as he’s pulling his Luna with him. I look down at rose shocked at the scene that was before her. I put my hand on her back and lead her to quiet spot.

“what was that Nikali?” She asks not sure if she’s angry or still shocked.

“She was a pack member and I kicked her out”

“Why?”

“She tried to seduce me to become Luna and queen. I wasn’t interested and she made up a rumour that she was pregnant with my pup even though I never touched her. My father gave me a choice” I grab her hand she doesn’t pull away so she’s not mad but I’m still unsure on what’s she’s feeling.

“What were your choices?”

“Take her the doctor for a test if positive or mate and marry her and if negative to either kill her or banish her from the pack lands” Rose looks at me I feel relief through the bond.

“So she lied?”

“Yes. I never touched her my father didn’t believer her either but we had to make it fair so my people didn’t just think I banished her because I got her pregnant but didn’t won’t her or the pup” she nods and walks over to me her arms around my waist and her face in my chest.

“Is she going to be a problem?” She asks looking up at me.

“I hope not” she nods. We head back to the table we’re Leo and maya are seated and we take our seats.

“Everything okay rose?” Maya asks

“Yes just some nobody making trouble!” Rose replies, I look at her but she doesn’t look well shes sweating her scent is slightly stronger I pull her closer her when my wolf stirs.

“She’s going into heat” Nik declares

“She can’t we’ve only just mated!”

“She’s a royal”

“What’s that got to do with it” I look down at her. Her temperature picking up she looks up at me.

“I don’t feel so good Nikali” she says leaning into me. I see Jordan and Micheal making there way over to me.

“Nikali I can smell her scent from over the other side off the room” Jordan mind links me. I nod and they start moving people so I can pass with rose.

“We are going to take our leave. It seems rose is going into heat. Put our floor on lock down for next three days and only send Maya with food and drinks” I say as I scoop rose into my lap.

“Already you only just mated!” Luca says

“It seems royals go into heat quicker” I say getting up from my seat and making my way to our room.

“Jordan?” I mind link him

“Yes Nikali”

“You and Micheal are to stay off the floor for the next three days. Go stay in roses old room.”

“Are you sure?”

“Yes you are both unmated. Her scent will be hard to resist” We make it to our room her temperature so hot I feel like she’s burning my skin. I place her in the bed and make my way to the shower.

Rose’s POV

I didn’t feel well my skin feels like it’s on fire my stomach feels like I’m being stabbed over and over again I’ve never felt pain like it as Nikali places me in the bed the pain becomes much worse I cry out because off the pain. He’s only gone a few seconds when he comes back picking me up from the bed and taking me in the bathroom. He places me on the floor and I whimper from the loss of his touch it’s the only thing keeping the pain at bay.

“It’s okay rose I’m just taking your dress off” he whispers in my ear as I feel his hands unzip my dress. He slips my dress off leaving me bear he slips my heels off. He moves taking his suit off and picks me up walking to the shower that’s running. He sits on the shower floor with me in his arms. The cool water drizzling down my body cooling my skin. When a strike off pain comes from stomach and I cry out.

“Make it stop” I shout the pain unbearable.

“The only way I can make it stop is to..” I cut him off when I cry out again.

“I know what you have to do Nikali! Just make it stop. Please it’s unbearable.” I scream. I’m sure people think he’s Killing me with my screams.

“Are you sure rose? You could get pregnant?” I really don’t care at this point. I just need release.

“I know! But please Nikali make it stop!” He nods placing a soft kiss to my lips I pull him close wanting more the pain subsiding from his touch. He moves my legs so I’m straddling him. His lips move from my mouth down my jaw to my mark he nips and sucks making me moan when I feel his hard member against my sweat spot he moves one hand to release himself from his boxers. I feel his length twitch against me he lifts me and places his tip at my entrance he slowly pulls me down on his length I gasp at the fullness. He pulls me closer to his chest his hands roaming my boding sending tingles and sparks everywhere that he touches making me moan at the feeling. He grips my hips lifting me up and slamming me down on his length making me cry out. He takes my n****e into his mouth nibble and sucking while he helps me find my pace as I rock my hips. “Fuuck” he mutters against my lips. I move my hands around his neck as I can feel the build up. He moves his hands back to my hips lifting us both up the shower I wrap my legs around his waist with him still deep inside me. He places my back against the cold tiles I gasp at the contact. He thrusts his hips into me making me moan. His pace quickens my release building up. I pull him closer. He thrust into me harder when my organism comes crashing down and I scream his name as his own release comes and he moans my name. Our breathing ragged Nikali switches of the water and moves us to the bedroom when the heat comes back we spend most of our night making love just waiting for the heat to die down.
