The Alfa Kings Lost Queen

The first meet.

Rose’s POV

In the dress boutique there are dresses on both side walls the back wall has floor to ceiling mirrors the dresses where sectioned in colours. we are greeted by a young woman not much older than us. She bowed to Taylor.

“Welcome luna is there anything I can help you with?” She asks politely.

“What colour do you prefer rose?” Taylor asks

“Red or blue”

“Every dress in them two colours please” Taylor asks the young woman. She smiles and goes to find the dresses. We head over to the couch that’s in front off the mirrors.

“Please follow me we have a lot to try on” she ushers me to the changing room.

The fist dress is a blue ball gown not my style to fluffy there was a red one the same i dint bother to try it on. Most off them are big I want something simple yet elegant. The last one I try on is it. Its a red high neck with a open back it flowed to floor, has a slit up the right side that stops at my thigh simple but elegant. I walk out and everyone gasps.

“Wow Rose you look beautiful” maya says her mouth wide.

“I think its perfect” Taylor says with a wide smile

“It’s the one” They clap and giggle.

“We’ll take it please have it bagged” Taylor asks the shop assistant.

“We need to find you some heels to match your dress” Taylor said. Motioning to the shop assistant.

“We have some stunning silver heels I’ll go get them” she hurries off.

A few moments later she arrives with the heels. The strap goes up past my ankle it has a little strap that goes across my foot, the heel was six inch they truly are stunning.

“They are stunning” maya says and Taylor nods in agreement.

“We’ll take them too” Taylor says. I go into the changing room. Once changed we make our way to pay. Taylor insists that she pays once paid we make our way to the food court.

“What food do you guys want?” Maya asked

“burger?” Taylor nods, we walk over to get our food then we go to find a table once seated we made small talk.

“who’s going to be this ball?” I asked

“Me Leo Kyle maya and Luca will be there all the unmated females in the pack. The king and his beta and gamma”

Im nervous about meeting the king. Once finished with our food we make our way back to the pack house.

“I’ll have someone bring your dress and shoes to your room” Taylor said while getting out the car.

“Thank you”

“What do you have planned for the rest off the day Rose” maya asked

“I’m going to see if Luca is free to train”

“Ok I’ll see you girls later” Taylor said while walking off.

I make my way through the house to Luca’s office I knock on the door and I hear a faint “come in” I open the door and walk in shutting the door behind me. He looks up from his seat and gives me smile.

“Rose how can I help you”

“I was wondering if you are free?”

“Yes I’ve just finished all my work. What do you have in mind”

“Training?”

“Yes meet me on the field in five” I nod and make my way to my room to change into a pair of leggings and a sports b*a I put my hair into a high pony tail. Once Im ready I make my way to the field when I got there it was empty I wait a few moments and saw Luca coming down he’s in just a pair a sweat pants. No shirt all his abs on full display I couldn’t help but stare I think he noticed he smirks and gives me a wink.

“You ready?” I nod to embarrassed to reply .

“Take position” I take position, fighting comes easy to me as my parents were both warriors I’m also one off the best in the pack. We are just about to start when a familiar voice comes from behind.

“Your not going to start without me right?” Kyle asked. Maya stood next to him with Leo.

“Ha I’ll take you all down”

“ok Luca first then me” Kyle replied. I nod.

“I’ll count down don’t shift until I tell you” We both nod.

“3.2.1 GO” Kyle shouted.

I watch Luca’s moves close. He lunges towards me I move and he falls to the ground behind me. I turn just as he lunges at me again punching me in the stomach I fall back but quickly regain my footing just as he lunges at me again swinging his hand at my face I catch it before it reaches my face flipping him over my shoulder he grunts as the air is knocked out his lungs he quickly get up. I give him a smile then he runs towards me again going in for another swing to my face this time a duck and swing my foot under him and he falls on his back again.

“Shift” Kyle says

I shift first into my white wolf with a black patch on one eye. Luca shifts into his grey wolf. As is make eye contact with Luca my wolf lets out a growl and pounces on Luca he shoves me off sending me into a tree. My wolf grunts then lunges at him again court of guard I push my claw into his side not enough to do a lot of damage his wolf growls but my wolf puts a paw on his neck and growls for submission to which Luca’s wolf grunts not wanting to give it. My wolf presses down little harder to which Luca’s wolf whimpers but puts his head to the side showing his submission. I realise my hold and walk behind a tree to shift i put some clothes on that we stash behind trees.I walk out Luca has shifted and is wearing sweatpants.

“Good training”

“Your getting good. You finally took me down” Luca replies.

“You are my only competitor”

“you ready to take me on” Kyle scoffs

“Always”

“You got enough energy in that little body off yours” he replies

“I don’t need energy to take you out” I say smugly. Luca maya and Leo all laugh.

“I’m hurt” he says with a hand over his heart

“Take your potions don’t shift until I say” Leo says. We both take our portions and nod to signal where ready.

“3.2.1 GO” Leo says.

Kyle lunges at me he fist coming to my face I grab his hand flipping him over my head he grunts and gets back up he lunges at me again swunging his leg and kicking me in the stomach I let out a little groan but quickly regain my breath. I lunge at him this time he goes to punch me I dodge it and punch him in the stomach he stammers back but quickly lunges towards me I use the same move as I did on Luca I duck and kick my foot under him he falls on his back.

“Shift” Leo says

Kyle shifts first into his brown wolf. I shift next. Kyle lunges at me my wolf doges He lunges a me again I kick him to a tree he growls and runs up to me He pins me down and growls asking me to submit, My wolf growls she kicks him off and pins him down with her paw on his neck she growls asking him to submit, He groans she growls louder his wolf submits We both shift back and get clothed.

“I beat your a*s too” I smirk at Kyle.

“Man she’s good” he says shaking his head.

“She went easy on you” Luca says

“You want taking on Leo” I say raising my eyebrow. He never fights me.

“No thanks. Your one off the best warriors I don’t need to fight you to find that out” he says laughing. I laugh.

“thanks for training but I stink I need to shower”

“I’ll walk with you” Luca says I wave bye to the rest. And start walking back to the house.

“How are you feeling about the ball?”

“Nervous”

“You don’t need to be nervous”

“I don’t understand why I am. Maybe it’s because he’s a king.” I shrug

“he’s just like everyone else he’s looking for someone to spend his life with”

“not me hopefully” i shrug

“Why not he’d be lucky to have you”

“I don’t think I’m ready to move away. The pack is all I’ve ever known my entire life all my life is here I don’t know him”

“if you are his mate I don’t think he will pack up and take you he might stay so you can get to now each other” he wraps his arm around me shoulder.

“Thanks Luca”

“Always” he give me a cheeky wink.

Once in my room a take a quick shower put sweats and lay on the bed reading a book when theres a knock at the door I say come in maya peeks around the door.

“Good your not busy.” She says

“I’m reading” i scoff

“I need to tell you something” with them words i place my book on the table. She walks over and sits next to me.

“First the kings coming two days early. Secondly I talked to Kyle”

“That means the king arrives today? And how did it go?”

“Yes he expected any minute and it went well” she says lifting her hair to show me her mark

“You mated” I ask shocked.

“Yes” she says going bright red

“I’m so happy for you” I pull her into a hug. There’s another knock to the the I say come in it’s Luca and Kyle.

“The king has arrived Leo would like you to come to his office” Luca says.

Kyle walks over to maya placing a kiss on her forehead.

“Congratulations Kyle fully mated! You better look after her otherwise I’ll kick your a*s again”

“Let me change and I’ll be with you”

In my closet i change if I’m going to meet the king I need to look nice. I pull a baby blue dress its got a sweetheart neckline its tight at the top and flares at the bottom. I walk out the closet their all stood waiting by the door.

“Let’s go”

“You look beautiful” Luca says

“I agree” maya says.

I thank them We make our way to Leo’s office. Luca knocks. Leo says “come in” and we all walk in. The room radiates power it catches me by surprise an intoxicating scent catching my senses off guard, chocolate and vanilla is my new favourite scent. Sat across from Leo Is assume by the power radiating off them is the king his beta and gamma, we walk into the room they stand to greet us.

“Your highness this is my beta Luca and gamma Kyle with his mate gamma maya” Leo introduces. The king shakes their hands.

“Pleasure to meet you all” the king replies.

My heart skips at beat when his eyes land on me. He’s tall like six foot, with blue eyes nearly black hair and olive skin tone. He’s wearing luxurious Taylor made black suit with a white shirt that clings to the outline off his body, I make my way back up to his face he’s holding a cheeky smirk he’s like a god. I start to blush as I realise he’s caught me checking him out.

“who is this Alfa Leo?“ he asks not taking his eyes off me.

“I’m Rose your highness” i reply before Leo can.

I smile holding my hand out for him to shake his hand. Walking forward his scent hits me at full force I stumbled backwards he takes my hand helping me balance. His hand is warm our skin touch I feel the sparks my breath becomes uneven my wolf perks up she’s prancing around shouting that one word I didn’t want to hear.

“Mate” she shouts still prancing around causing me a headache.

“NO” I snap

He looks at me his eyes go from his blue to silver a gush off wind it’s me I’m pinned to a wall. I look up and see those silver eyes.

“I’ve been looking for you for two years my queen”

I struggle to catch my breath. I can see Luca from the corner of my eye he’s confused.

“What the hell is going on?” Leo shouts.

The king backs away slightly grabbing my waist leading us to a chair. He sits and try’s to pull me to his lap I pull away taking the chair across from him. He looks confused and hurt.

“Alfa Leo my search for my queen is over” he says not taking his eyes off me the hole time. I glance at Leo he’s just as shocked as I am.

“Wait Rose is your mate?” Luca asks

“Yes it would seem that way” the king replies

“So what’s the plan you just pack me up and leave?” I scoff.

He looks at me and smirks. His beta and gamma both laugh.

“She’s a feisty one” he says

“You have no idea” Luca says

“No i will not just pack you up and take you” the king replies to my earlier question.

“what’s the plan we don’t need to do the ball to find your mate” Leo asks

“We can have a celebration ball to announce my queen” he replies

“Wait..” I say struggling to control my emotions. I’m not ready to be a queen.

“Are you okay?” Maya asks me.

“No I need some air” I say making my way to the door.

Nikali’s POV

As I’m sat in Alfa Leo’s office after meeting rose for the first time she’s beautiful I was stunned, I wasn’t expecting to find my mate. I have been looking for two years it’s been a hard journey I took a few months when my father passed to grieve but also I had to step up as king my mother couldn’t it was too for her. I’ve travelled to several different packs I was ready to give up I was willing to take a chosen mate if I didn’t find her but luck was on my side.

I was staring at the chair rose was sat in, she was struggling with her emotions so she ran, I couldn’t understand why she would run from me her mate but I’m a king I’m not just any old wolf. Luca followed her I wanted to but she needs time and having me there would only make it worse. I will do anything to make her see that I’m like a normal person she just needs to give me a chance I am willing to wait no matter how long it takes.

Rose’s POV

I make my way to the training field sitting down I try to reign my emotions in Luca come up behind me.

“There’s some sweats behind that tree go change we can train” he says pointing to a tree once changed I make way the middle off the field i notice Leo Kyle maya the king his gamma and beta walking towards the field. I try not to pay attention and get to training.

“No shifting just fighting deal?”

“Deal I can still kick your a*s” We start our training. I off course kick Luca’s a*s.

“Round two?”

“Hell thats twice today” he shrugs.

“I will” the kings beta comes forward.

“Dude she will kick your a*s” Kyle says

“I would like to try” he replies raising his eyebrows.

“No shifting or shifting?” I ask

“Shift let’s see what you’ve got” he replies

“What your name beta” I ask

“Jordan” he replies

“Jordan you ready to get your a*s kicked?” I ask

“we’ll see” he replies

“No shifting until I say” the king says. I still don’t know his name and he’s my mate. We both nod and get into potion.

“3.2.1. GO” the king says.

I watch Jordan carefully like everyone else he goes straight for my face i catch his Hand flipping him to the floor knocking the air out his lungs he gets back up and tries to swipe my feet from underneath me. I jump up and kick him in the stomach and he falls to the ground he groans getting back up.

“Shift” the kings shouts

I shift first the beta shifts into his grey wolf. he pins me down bitting my shoulder I let out a little whimper aloud growl comes from the crowd the kings looking straight at us. I push Jordan off we circle each other he pounces me I move he falls behind me I pounce on him digging my claws into his side and place one paw on his neck i growl for him to submit he gives me a low growl but he submits, I move off him and run behind a tree and shift and put my dress back on. I make my way over to the group and flop down.

“Nicely played” Jordan says

“Told you I’d kick your a*s” I say

“She’s not easy to beat one of my best warrior if not the best” Leo says

“Feisty and a warrior” the king says

“your gonna have your hands full” Luca says

“Do you mind if me and Rose talks in private” the king asks.

“Sure I’ll show your beta and gamma to their rooms” Luca says they all head to the house leaving me and the king alone.

“Come let’s walk” the king says we start walking.

“Why did you leave the office?” He’s hurt I fount my mate and ran from him.

“I was not prepared to meet my mate! I was caught off guard I’m not sure I’m ready” I reply honestly he deserves it.

“I see, I don’t think anybody is ready. I’ve been looking for two years i was caught off guard also. As you witnessed when my wolf pinned you to the wall” he shook his head and chuckled.

“What’s your full name?” He starts the questions.

“Rose White, yours”

“Nikali Lewis Wright”

“powerful name”

“You have family?”

“No my parents died in a rogue attack”

“I’m sorry. Do you have friends?”

“No need to be sorry they died fighting for the pack it’s what they enjoyed doing. Yes Maya the gammas mate is my best friend. Kyle, Leo and Luca are also my friends we grew up together”

“The Alfa a friend something I never see much off”

Most Alfas don’t socialise outside the ranks that’s what makes this pack different.

“The old Alfa wanted to be different. He took me in when my parents died gave me a home, jobs and clothes” I say he tenses doesn’t like the fact I have jobs or whatever but people have to live we’re all not royalty.

“You have jobs?”

“Not anymore Leo didn’t like me doing jobs as he sees me as family so he moved me too the beta wing” I reply he seems less tense and relieved.

“So whats the plan?” I ask he looks at me confused.

“Plan for what?”

“I’m assuming you want me to come back with you?”

“Yes definitely! we have time, I would like to get to know you first no matter how long it takes. I have people back at home taking care off the pack. I don’t want to rush you into it. I want you to feel comfortable around me” I stop turning to him he looks at me with those beautiful blue eyes.

“Thank you. I’m not sure how but I already feel comfortable around you. Your not what I expected”

“What was you expecting?”

“I’m not sure. You just seem really easy going”

“I try but I still need to make people feel

uncomfortable when it’s needed thats my job your my mate I need to make sure your loved and taken care off that what’s important to me right now”

“do you won’t to head back we can watch a movie and play twenty questions to get to know each other better” he smiles at me and nods.

We make our way to the house. In the kitchen i grab snacks.

“Do you want anything specific?” I ask

“Nope I’ll take what ever you pick” I grab chips chocolate and sodas. He grabs everything from me we walk down the hall down to the basement where the movie room is.

“What do you want to watch”

“You pick” I look at the dvd selection I’m not a girly film watcher so fast and furious it is also it’s my favourite.

“Fast and furious my favourite”

“No way mine too” He smiles I sit next to him.

“So twenty questions?”

“Yep you want to start or me”

“You” i smile.

“How old are you”

“Twenty you” he replies

“Eighteen, your a young king?” I say

“Yes I’ve only been king 3 months due to my father passing my mother didn’t want to do it and she’s still grieving for my father. So I took over.” Trying not to show his emotions but his eyes show pain and grief.

“What’s your favourite colour” he asks

“Blue yours?” he looks a little shocked.

“Blue also” he gives me a cheeky wink I can feel my breath hitch so my cheeks begin to burn. His eyes flicker from his blue eyes to silver like he battling with his wolf. My wolf wants more contact but I don’t won’t to make the first move.

“He’s our mate” my wolf spat

“I no I want him to make the first move” I scoff She’s ready to jump him I’m left battling her.

“Your wolf battling you?” He asks

“Yes why you ask?” I ask

“Your eyes keep flicking from your hazel eyes to purple” he says he moves closer putting his hand on my thigh I feel the parks go up my legs. The other on the back off the couch.

“He’s making a move” my wolf shouts

“I no” I reply to her

He moves his head closer I look into his eyes there back to his his regular blue colour. He leans in I can feel his breath on my lips my breathing becomes hitched. He places his lips on mine the sparks are instant my hands move around his neck to deepen the this kiss his hands move around my waist in one swift move I’m straddling him. I pull back we’re both breathless our foreheads on each other. I climb off him and sit back down.

“I’m sorry” I say looking at him he looks confused.

“No need to apologise” he smiles, We snuggle and continue watching the film.
