The Alfa Kings Lost Queen

First date

I wake in my room last night was a good start in getting to no Nikali. He’s not what I expected I feel comfortable around him. I take a quick shower and slip into some sweats a sports b*a and head down for breakfast. I smell his scent before I see him Everyone is already seated I sit next to Luca as normal he’s already plated my food.

“Alfa Leo it’s unusual to eat before the Alfa and Luna it’s refreshing” Nikali says

“I don’t really like the old school rules. I like people to feel comfortable”

“Rose we training this morning or gym?” Luca asks.

“I’m not sure”

“you trained most off yesterday so why don’t we hit the gym”

“why do you have to be so controlling!” I snap. He looks at me surprised.

“Wow someone’s feisty today” he snaps back

“No” I scoff.

“Maybe you did too much yesterday?”

“No I’m fine.” I snap back looking around the table everyone staring at me like I ate there puppy!

I finish eating and head to the gym without saying a word. I hear someone follow me but don’t pay much attention. I reach the gym i go straight to the punch bag I wrap my hands and get to my workout session.

“Are you okay sweetheart” I hear from behind me. I knew it was Nikali from his scent.

“Yes I’m fine”

“You seem tense”

“I’m just sick off everyone trying to control me” I snap. I Instantly regret it.

“I’m sorry” i say giving him a smile I land a few punches to the bag instantly feeling better. I walk over to the bench and take a seat while I unwrap my hands. Nikali comes and takes a seat next to me.

“I want to take you out on a date Rose” he asks. I look at him he smiles he places a hand on the small off my back I relax under his touch.

“That sounds great. We’re are we going?”

“It’s a surprise but dress up”

“What time?”

“Say seven”

“are you coming to my door or should we meet in the foyer”

“I’ll come to your door” I smile at him and make my way out off the gym.

“Do you want to train today I can ask my gamma”

“Yeah sure I already kicked your betas a*s” I smirk he laughs and he links his gamma.

“He’s going to meet us at the training ground” he says. I nod and we make our way to the training ground. His gamma and beta are waiting for us. I make my way to the middle off the field and take my position.

“So gamma what’s your name?”

“Micheal”

“We’ll Micheal are you ready for an a*s beating!” I say smugly

“Yes but I’m sure I can take you on” he laughs and winks at me.

“Shift or No shifting?”

“No shift more fun that way”

“Right positions. The first one to submit loses” Nikali says.

“3.2.1. GO” he says.

Micheal gets into position. He’s watching my moves closely. I raise my eyebrow at him expecting him to make the first move but he doesn’t. I move towards him he goes to grab my hand but I duck and kick his feet from under him he groans but gets up and he charges towards me his fist ready to punch me I grab his hand flipping him over but he lands on his feet he charges at me punching me in the stomach I quickly catch my breathe and charge towards him to witch he grabs my arm flipping me over his shoulder I land on my back the air knocked out my lungs. A loud growl comes through the air I look to see Nikali walking up to me I give him a look and he stops. I look up to see Micheal he’s leaning down his body above mine he growls i groan and submit. He gets up holding his hand I take it.

“looks like you beat me” I say

“I think I got lucky” he replies. I give him a smile shaking my head. Nikali makes his way over to me he embraces me after a few seconds He backs away looking at my body.

“Nikali I’m ok. It’s just training” I say placing my hand on his chest.

“Are you sure” he asks. I role my eyes at him

“Yes I’ve had worse. Your beta bit me” I scoff he leans down I can feel his breath on my neck.

“I like it when you get feisty” he whispers. I go red turning away so he doesn’t see my blush. I hear someone clear their throat behind us I look maya Kyle Leo and Luca are standing next to Jordan. I move out off Nikali arms, I walk over to maya and give her a hug.

“I need your help I have a date tonight” I say. She looks shocked. She looks over at Nikali and smiles. He smiles back.

“With Nikali?” She asks

“Off course” I reply. She grabs my arm pulling me away from the group I halt.

“Thanks for the training Micheal. And I’ll see you at seven Nikali” I smile.

“Your welcome Rose” Micheal replies. Nikali smiles and gives me a wink.

Leo smiles and Kyle follows behind maya. Luca looks lost and confused. We get to my room with Kyle still following, We stop at my door and maya turns to Kyle she gives him a smile.

“Kyle I’m going to help Rose get ready for her date, I’ll meet you in the room” Maya tells Kyle. He nods then walks down the hall. We make our way into my room going straight to the closet to pick out my dress. I don’t have many but I have a few different styles.

“Did he give you any clues on we’re your going?”

“Nope just to dress formal”

“Ok what about this one it’s gorgeous” she pulls out a pale blue dress it’s an open back with an alter neck it shows a little cleavage but not too much, it’s long with a slit down the right side.

“Yes” I say she jumps up and down. She grabs a pair of black heel with a small strap at the front with feathers on and a small strap around the ankle. She looks at me smiles I nod, I walk over to my jewellery box i pick a pair of diamond studs and a silver chocker I hold them up, the smile on her face grows wider.

“Definitely, now go shower so we can start your hair” she demands pointing to the door. I take a shower. I wrap my hair in the towel i grab a robe then make my way out the room Maya motions me to sit at the vanity table I sit. She drys my hair and parts it down the middle pulling it into a high pony. She Then curls the ends. I put a little mascara on with some highlighter and lipgloss. I get ready in my closet, Once I’m ready I look in the mirror at myself. I decide to head into my room. Maya is staring at the door with Luca I didn’t hear a knock on the door. Maya smiles and compliments me. I smile back and thank her.

“I’m going to go find Kyle. Have a good night rose and I want details in the morning!” She waves and walks out the door.

“Can I help you” I ask Luca

“You look beautiful as always”

“Thank you. But I’m pretty sure your not here to just compliment me.”

“No” he looks down at his feet. I’ve never seen Luca like this before.

“Luca please tell me what on your mind”

“I think your making a mistake” hes still looking at the floor, I wait until he brings his head up to look at me I can feel the my anger building I’m not going to like what he has to say.

“Im sorry rose I know you don’t won’t to hear it but that’s how I feel” I just look at him not sure on what to say. He walks closer to me but I put my hand up for him to stop and he stops.

“We spoke about this, You knew all along I wanted to find my mate now I fount him you feel I’m making a mistake?” I spit at him. He cowers slightly.

“Rose please understand you don’t know him and your going out with him” he pleads with me he steps forward but I step back. I can’t believe this is happening.

“No! If I don’t go out with him I will never know him. I know your looking out for me but stop.” I say with a little authority I didn’t know I had. He whimpers and takes a step back.

“Rose”

“No! Luca your trying to control me! You always have.” I scoff. The door to my room opens Nikali and Jordan walk in.

“Rose I don’t control you!” He says through gritted teeth.

“No course not! Your telling me I’m making a mistake, I train too much plus You all moved me up here without asking and took my jobs from me!” I grit back. I can feel the anger building up I don’t want to loose him but he’s not listening.

“GET OUT!” I growl he whimpers but stays in place.

“Please before I say something I may regret” He nods and walks out.

I sit on the bed and I feel Nikali sit next to me. I don’t look at him I can’t I don’t want to crumble in front off him, this is suppose to be my first date.

“Are you okay?” Nikali asks. I nod still not looking at him.

“Come let’s go” he stands holding his hand for me to take. I place my hand in his and he pulls me up, I straighten me dress. We walk down the hall hand in hand to the foyer.

“You look stunning” Nikali says

“Thank you look nice too” I give him cheeky grin. He lets out a little chuckle.

We make our way out to his car. And what I see is shocking there in the drive is a black Lamborghini. Im stunned Thank you I look at Nikali and he’s wearing a cheeky smirk.

“You like”

“Oh yeah”

“I thought you might” he laughs.

He opens the door and I get in. It smells new. Has his sent but still smells new. Nikali shuts my door I buckle myself in as Nikali gets in he starts the car and it roars as we set off to our destination. I look out the window and watch as all the trees pass by. Nikali places a hand on my thigh I place a can you help me hand on his it just feel natural to want to touch him.

“Can I ask you a question?” He asks

“Sure ask away”

“What the deal with Luca?” I was expecting this question but not this soon.

“He’s protective since I lost my parents they all kind off stood by me, but he had a hard time not long ago that I helped him through. he caught feelings for me which made him more protective we also made a deal that if we don’t find our mates that we would try dating” I answer him honestly I don’t want any secrets between us but I don’t won’t to reveal to much about Luca’s past. I look at him, he gives me a soft smile but I can tell he’s hurt and maybe a little confused.

“ you can tell me how you feel I want us to be honest with each other”

“I’m still getting my head around someone else having feelings for you” headmits

“I understand, But in order for us to work I think we need to be honest with each other. That’s why I told you everything I don’t want us to have any secrets” I squeezed his hand, but what did he expect for other people not to have feelings for me or me for them before we even new each other. P

“I agree I’m glad your giving me a chance” We arrive at a waterfront restaurant. Nikali gets out the car and walks around and opens my door he holds his hand out and I take it. We make our way to the door and we are greeted by a tall man.

“Good evening your highness. Your table is ready please follow me” he motions to follow him Nikali places his hand on the small of my back. We make our way to the table it’s outside near the water there’s fairy lights and candles it’s perfect.

“Do you like?”

“It’s perfect”

we make our way over to the table and Nikali pulls my chair out and I sit down. Nikali sits across from me. He still seems tense. He’s been acting weird since training.

“Can I ask a question”

“Sure anything” A little confused my his expression not giving too much away with what he’s thinking.

The waiter comes to take our food and drink order. I look at Nikali and he’s deep in thought.

“Do you know any of your family history”I’m a little confused by his question. I think he notices he takes my hand in his and give me a soft smile.

“My parents were pack fighters the names were Taya white and Ryan white they were fated mates and my dad has always been in this pack that’s all I know why” I give him all the information I no but still confused by his question.

“What colour wolfs did they have if you know it doesn’t matter if you don’t”

“My mom had a brown and my dad had a reddish brown” he nods and then goes back to thinking. Our drinks arrive I went with a orange juice. I take a sip.

“Why do you ask?” I need answers to why he asked them questions.

“You have a white wolf” I’m not sure if that’s a question or a fact. I nod in agreement.

“White wolfs are rare and People haven’t seen them in years. So when you shifted I was surprised and your wolf if surprisingly strong for a fighter” he says I’m abit taken back.

“Are your parents your birth parents?”

“As far as I’m aware yes I’m sure it will be in my documents at the pack house”

“Ok” The waiter bring us our meals and we converse in small talk still getting to know each other. The night was perfect. We make our way back to the pack house and I’m staring out the window in my own little world. Nikali places his hand on my thigh I’m instantly brought out off my own head. I look at Nikali and he’s staring at me. I give him a smile and place my hand on his.

“I’m sorry for all the questions about your parents.” He says but I think I need answers.

“Leo” I mind link

“Yes Rose”

“Did I wake you”

“No I’m still in my office can I help you?”

“Yes get my parents file out please I’ll be back in ten minutes I’ll come to your office”

“Sure see you soon”

I’m nervous but there’s so many things that don’t add up in the only white wolf in the pack.

“When we get back to the pack house we need to go to Leo’s office”

“Everything ok”

“Yes I have some files to read”

“Ok” Nikali give me a soft smile. We make it back to the pack house and make our way up to Leo’s office i knock on the and Leo’s says come in. Me and Nikali walk in Nikali shuts the behind Leo lifts his head and greets us.

“Good evening what a surprise” he says motioning to the two chairs in front off his desk me and Nikali take our seats.

“Can I ask why you wanted to see your parents files Rose?”

“There’s answers that I need but cannot get from anywhere else” he nods handing me the files I scan the files to the year that I’m born and there’s no medical record off my mom being pregnant i frown. Leo and Nikali both notice.

“What’s wrong rose” Leo asks placing a hand on my back Nikali lets out a growl I look at him.

“Calm down he’s a friend”

“There’s no record of my mom being pregnant the year I was born” Leo takes the file off me and scrolls through it. I pick up my fathers file and go to the same year and still nothing.

“It’s impossible” Leo says handing me the file back. I look through it to six months after my birth. My heart rate picks up I feel sick.

“Rose your heart rate you need to breath” Nikali says he grabs me from my chair and places me on his lap. I place my head in the crook of his neck,

“Their not my real parents” I whisper. Leo looks at the page I was on and signs.

“She was fount by her mother at the pack border. They adopted her my parents consented it”

“I’m sorry” Nikali whispers.

“Why did you want to know if your parents were your parents?” Leo asks

“I asked her about her family history. Her wolf is white and she’s also strong for just a fighter. She took down my beta” Nikali says

“So because she took down your beta she’s strong? She’s always been strong! And white wolf?“ Leo scoffs. Nikali growls at the disrespect.

“I think you need to calm down Alfa! Yes strong my beta is the best fighter I have. White wolfs are Rare There hasn’t been a sighting in years they come from a pack in the west that are no longer around due to a war. So yes she’s rare!” Nikali states. I move my head so I can see Leo. He’s confused and shocked. There’s a knock on the door.

“Come in” Leo says. Kyle Luca Jordan and Micheal walk through the door. Kyle and Luca stand beside Leo and Jordan and Micheal stand behind me and Nikali. Luca doesn’t make eye contact with me and Kyle gives me a soft smile.

“Is everything ok” Kyle asks

“Yes. I just fount out my parents weren’t my parents. The only answers I have are those files!” They all look my way. Nikalis grip becomes tighter. I put my head back in the crook off his neck and cry into his neck. I can’t control my emotions anymore.

“Jordan Micheal I need you to find information we have on the blood wing pack and see if there was any survivors” Nikali asks

“Yes. May I ask why?” Jordan asks

“Yes I think Rose maybe from that pack” Nikali replies. He’s rubs his hand up and down my back soothing me I try so hard to stay awake but I let sleep take over.

Nikali POV

I’m sat in Alfa Leo’s office with Rose on my lap her breathing has evened out she’s Finally asleep after finding out her parents aren’t her biological parents. I’ve got my beta and gamma finding information on a pack that I think she’s from.

“Is she ok” Luca asks

“Yes she’s asleep” I scoff he tenses at my response. I glare at him in warning I don’t like that he has feelings for her or that she might have feelings for him. I just have to prove that I’m the one for her.

“Luca Kyle help the kings beta and gamma find information they can you use your office Luca” Leo says. They all walk out the room leaving me and Leo alone. He sits back in his chair.

“I didn’t realise she wasn’t theirs I never read her records I grew up with her. I was there when she shifted. I was there for her first fight I mean she was good always been strong never had to try hard it just came naturally” Leo explains

“It will, the blood wing pack were the strongest pack it took five packs and two months to take them out. If she’s from that pack she’s the last living one that I’m aware off”

“We’re they all fighters?”

“Yes even the women the children started training at the age of seven. Sometimes younger” I state he nods and wipes his hand down his face.

“It’s not your fault. Her parents died at a young age they didn’t have time to tell her. Do you know if there was a note or anything when her mother fount her” I ask needing more information. He picks up the files and scrolls through the page he nods.

“Yes there was her name and birthdate. Nothing else” I nod. A knock came from the door and both betas and gammas walk in.

“We have the information you’ve asked for” Jordan tells me, I nod for him to continue he sits in the chair in front off me.

“There was a little girl that was born the year rose was born with the same name and birthday. Her mother was the luna off that pack her name was Rosie and the Alfa was Tobias. There are no survivors that have been reported. Both Luna and Alfa passed away but the luna was reported to disappear for around two hours before the pack met it’s demise.” Jordan explains.

“So she’s an alfas daughter?” Luca asks

“Yes it would seem that way. Is that why her wolf is white” Leo asks

“No her wolf is white because she’s a royal!” I state. They all looked shocked.

“So she’s a princess?” Luca asks

“No she’s a queen” I reply

“Your queen?“ Luca scoffs

“No she’s a queen in her own right! I’m king in this region her family come from England. But they sort refuge over here as their home land was being taken by humans but they were took out by five neighbouring packs. It took them two months to take the one pack down.” They all looked at rose.

“So she has no pack?” Leo asks

“That’s correct”

“So she’s the last one of her kind?” Luca asks

“Yes she’s the last one” Leo shouts. Before I can even reply.

“So she’s special?” Kyle asks.

“Yes” I reply

“Maya always said that she was destined for greatness. But Rose never believed her” Kyle said shaking his head and rubbing his hand through his hair. He blanked out for a second probably getting a mind link.

“We always knew that Rose was special” Leo states you can clearly see that these guys care for Rose a lot. Guilt strikes me Im going to ask her to leave everything that she’s ever known.

“I’m off to bed maya keeps asking questions and I think it’s best for Rose to explain everything” Kyle says. We all say good bye and he leaves.

“We’re is she staying tonight?” Luca points at Rose. Instantly feel protective off her.

“With me I don’t think she needs to alone”

“You’ve only known her two days!” He spits

“I suggest you watch your mouth pup!” I spit back sick of his tantrums.

Luca storms out off the room.

“Just give him time he’s grown attached to rose. He loves her and would do anything for her he’s finding it hard to let go” Leo signs.

“I’m not taking her away from any of you but I’m her mate and she’s going to be my queen” He nods and I say my good byes and make my way to my room. I open the door and place Rose in the bed and cover her with a blanket. I go to the closet and change into sweat pants and get in the bed. Rose rolls over and snuggles into my chest I wrap my arm around her waist and fall to sleep instantly.
