Thanksgiving failure

Dana' point of view

I was so excited for our trip to the orphanage today, I could barely contain myself. "Baby girl slow down, we will get there in time." Jayden chuckled at me. "I know, but I'm so excited! This is amazing, and I can't wait to see the children' faces when we get there." I gush out, before entering the car. Both Jayden' parents laugh at my enthusiasm. "We are going to be so surprised and happy." Ada said. I nod in response and start going over the plan again. Jayden only let this happen if, and only if we took a lot of guards with us. I agreed, but only if they all arrived with us because I didn't want them to ruin the surprise to the kids. 

We arrived at 9 am on the dot and was welcomed by the leader of the orphanage Miss. Silver. "Welcome your highness'. We are honored to have you visit us today. My name is Miss. Silver, and I will be showing you around today." I smiled so big, it felt like my face would split. "Thank you, Miss. Silver. It is us who are honored to be here, and we look very much forward to joining you in activities today. We have also brought presents to the kids, and there will be food later. A thanksgiving buffets. Tomorrow we have arranged for a team to come in and make thanksgiving dinner and decorate this place." Miss. Silver look at me with confusion at first, before a smile took over her face. "Thank you, my queen. You are a generous as you are beautiful." I blushed at her words. We all walked inside, and the kids were assembled in a auditorium. When we walked in the kids immediately fell silent and looked at us with small eager faces. "Hello everyone. I'm Jayden, this here is my fiancé Dana and my parents. We are here to visit all of you and spent the entire day with you. I hope we can have a lot of fun, and I know we have looked forward to meeting all of you." Jayden smiled to the kids and the staff in the room. It was filled with an excited energy, and soon we were surrounded by kids in all ages.

Noon came all too soon, and we were sitting in the playground eating lunch. A little boy and girl, brother and sister, had taken a like for me and Jayden. They had not left our sides since Jaydens speech in the morning. "Queen Dana?" I smiled, "yes, Missy?" I asked. "I have to pee. But I don't want to go alone." The small girl said. I chuckled, "well, let's go then. We don't want you to pee before we get to the toilet." She smiled at my reply and took my hand. "We will be right back babe." I told Jayden, who was all too busy with Missy' brother to even give an answer. He waved at me, to let me know he heard me, and of we went. Everywhere I looked, I saw happy faces. We had made thanksgiving decorations for their dorms, some decor for the table later, and then it was free play. After Missy had peed a staff member I didn't know came and asked to talk to me, so I sent her outside to play again. "My queen, if I could show you something out here?" The staff member asked. I felt a bit uneasy, but followed him outside non the less, not wanting to give the wrong impression. He took me to the table, and there in the middle was cookies made by some of the children. They had different decor, but in total they spelled "QUEEN DANA & KING JAYDEN" and some of them had crowns on them. My heart melted, and I gave the man a big smile. "They are lovely! By the way, I didn't catch your name earlier?" He smiled, "I'm sorry my queen. My name is Jacob, and I was not here when we were all introduced. My wife is pregnant, and I had to take her to the doctor this morning." I nodded. We headed back to the others, and I saw Jaydens eyes follow me around. "No need to those jealous eyes, my love. He is a staff member and wanted to show me the cookies the children had made as a surprise to us. He was late due to his WIFE being pregnant!" I felt Jaydens laugh in my mind, "I'm sorry baby girl. I didn't mean to seem so... Well, yes I did." I rolled my eyes at him and stuck my tongue out at him.

When the afternoon came around, we all enjoyed the meal and cookies for dessert. It was delicious and we had a real good time. Soon we were saying goodbye to the children, and Missy did not want to let me go. "Missy, I will come and visit you again. I promise you!" She smiled through the tears and nodded. We waved goodbye and went home for the evening. It had been an amazing day with happy children and staff at the orphanage and we all agreed that this would become a thanksgiving tradition for the years to come. Jayden and I agreed upon visiting again before Christmas to deliver present to all the children. I went to bed that night in full excitement for what the next day would bring us. 

I woke up to Jayden kissing my face. I started giggling, and soon we were kissing passionately. Making love to Jayden was always like being in heaven, and I loved every feeling me made me feel! We were late to breakfast because our extra activities that had started in bed, had developed to multiple times in bed, in the shower and then in the bed again. Jayden was excellent in bed, and I had difficulties remembering what we were supposed to be doing when he started this. After breakfast we spent some time together with everyone watching movies. In the afternoon Jayden told me he had some work to do, and I went to the library. I was sitting in there when a maid came and told me Jayden wanted to meet in the garden. "Jayden? Honey are you out here?" He was nowhere in sight, and suddenly I got a really bad feeling about this. "Jay..." My question was cut short by a rag going over my mouth, I smelled chloroform before everything went dark.

Unknown Point of view 

"Quickly, we need to disappear before the king to be realizes she is gone." I couldn't believe the plan had worked, but it did and now we had to get out of there. Tony will be so pleased when we delivered the queen to be to him, and my mistress as well. She was mad the young king and would do anything to have him. "Remember, nothing is to happen to her, no bruises and no violence" I instructed my men again. Even if I was in on the k********g, I was still protective over the young queen. No one, not even Tony was going to touch a hair on her head as long as I was here. I wanted what was best for all the vampires, and my mistress was sure this innocent and unknowing girl was not it. I didn't know for sure yet, but I would find out. I was not going to leave her with Tony or Clarissa for that matter. This was confusing, but I would get to the bottom of it soon enough. 

Jaydens Point of view

I was working in my office on a surprise for Dana. I knew her childhood had been lacking in some departments. So, I was planning for her and I to go travel around the vampire communities. This was going to be amazing, men my sweet mate was going to be so happy. Sami stuck her head in at some point looking for Dana, and I told her she went to the library to read. Nothing new there, as she liked the peace and quiet. Not long after Sami returned, "Jayden are you absolutely sure Dana went to the library? Some of the maids said she was there but went to the gardens. But I have looked everywhere now, and she is nowhere to be found?" Sami' words sent a chill down my spine, and I felt the panic set in. "Baby girl, Sami is looking for you. Where are you?" There was no answer. I kept trying, but she was somehow out of reach. I mind-linked the guards and the guys, but no one knew where she was? Maybe she went out? No, she knew not to do that when the threat was still out there. "Show me where the maids said she went." I told Sami, and then followed her to the gardens. I stopped dead in my tracks and sniffed the air. Dana had been here, but her scent was fading. It mixed with something else, chloroform, and then it hit me; they got her. She was gone! I roared and rushed to the house, Sami hot on my heel. "Jayden talk to me, what is happening? Where is my best friend?" Storm, Jordyn and Max came to meet us outside, "what is going on?" Jordyn immediately asked. "They took her. They f*****g took my mate! She is gone... I failed" Storm narrowed his eyes, "who got Dana? And why did you... Wait, are you saying someone kidn*pped her?" He asked with disbelief. I nodded, before I fell to my knees. They got her.

"I don't care where you are, or what you are doing. I want my mate found NOW!" I roared in the phone to one of the private detectives on the line. It had been hours, and Dana was still nowhere to be found. All the grounds had been searched, Clarissa' family estate was being searched, her adopted fathers house and ground was being searched. I didn't care if they did not like it! I would tear the entire supernatural world apart to find her. No one would rest before she was home safe again. 

A knock on my door took me from my thoughts. "Come in." I answered When the door opened, I wished it hadn't. There, stood Clarissa in the skimpiest outfit I had ever seen. I groaned and rolled my eyes. "Clarissa. What do you want? I'm busy." She gave me a sickly-sweet smile, "come on baby. I want what I always wanted? I want you, and I want to please you. To rule by your side and be your queen." Did she not get it? "Clarissa, I have a mate and queen. It is not you and nor will it ever be you. Dana is my entire world, and I will never choose any other than her." Her smile fell as she waltzed in and sat on my table. "Well, I heard that little girl left you? And I of cause came straight here to comfort you, and let you see that I would never leave you. Jayden, you know I would make a far better queen than that b***h, and.." I growled and interrupted her before she could insult my mate again. "She didn't leave. She was kidn*pped! Clarissa, you know I am marked, so is Dana. Besides, I proposed to her before Halloween, and she said yes. She wouldn't leave like this." Clarissa sneered at the news of me proposing to Dana. "Seriously Jayden, you proposed to that intruder? You were supposed to be my mate! MINE! She is gone Jayden, and I am sitting right here. I am offering myself to you, and you still will not see the world clear? I will make you see. Don't worry baby, you will want me sooner than later." She stood up, but I grabbed her arm. She spun around in anticipation of me changing my mind. "You took her, didn't you?" I asked in a deadly voice. "Storm, Max. My office ASAP! Bring three trusted men." Clarissa tried to yank her arm from me, but I held on. "Answer me, Clarissa. Did you make someone take my mate?" Her eyes narrowed, "what if I did? She is not coming back Jayden. And whatever you do to me, I am not telling you s**t, unless you forsake her and make me your queen!" 

Storm and Max knocked on my door and came inside with three of our most trusted guards. "Clarissa here has just admitted having orchestrated the k********g of your future queen, my mate. She also admitted to doing so, so that she can be my queen. This will of cause never happen, but we need information." I looked directly at Mikey, and he nodded in understanding. "Yes, my king. Do I have any restrains on this, or are my hands free for extracting information from here?" His tone was more deadly than ever before, and never had I seen him so eager. Clarissa clearly paled and swallowed hard. "Is there something me and your two other kings need to know here Mikey?" I asked him. He smiled and looked at Clarissa who tried to hide her head shake. "I was her mate your highness. She rejected me, after she used me for information about the mansion, guards etc. This is why, I suggested the changes in times, and guard plans. I am sorry, I failed you." He bowed his head in shame, but this was not on him. Storm put his arm on Mikey's shoulder, "this is all on Clarissa, not you. Both Jayden and I know how it is with mates. You do everything to please them and are willing to go great lengths to make them smile and happy. She used your bond before breaking your heart. You tried everything to keep the queen safe." Max nodded in agreement. But Mikey shook his head. "That is not even the beginning of her betrayal. She is not my mate, never was and never will be" I was now really confused, "but you just said." He held up a hand, "I know. She used Witchcraft and tricked the mate bond." My eyes widened in understanding. "When she rejected me, it didn't hurt like it should have. I became curious and asked a friend of mine. She told me that a certain potion can trick the mate bond, but only if the one taking it keeps taking it. Clarissa must have known the effects was about to wear off, so she 'rejected' me, and left." Max narrowed his eyes, and I could see the wheels turning in his head. He was never one to say much but was very observant. "You have free reigns on how you get the information. Put her in the farthest isolation cell. No one but you three, or the three of us," I pointed at Max, Storm and myself, "will enter the cell. No one but us here is to know she is there. I have called for some magic reinforcements." Right on que my door opened again, and Aron came inside. "You needed me?" He asked, eyeing Clarissa. "This here is Aron; he is also allowed in the cell. He is a great wizard, and a good friend of the queen." Aron blushed at my praise. "Aron. I need you to put a block on Clarissa's mind. She is not to mind-link anyone. She is the only clue right now to find Dana. She is one of the persons behind this, but I am sure she is not acting alone." Aron's eyes darkened. "It is done Jayden." I nodded, and the guards took her to the cells. 

As I sat down behind my office desk again, with Storm, Max and Aron on the other side my hopes were up. "Don't worry my love! I am coming for you, but you need to stay strong a little longer" I was coming for those who wanted my mate, and it was going to go down when I get there.
