Jayden’s Point of view
I could feel the despair and panic in Dana. She was keeping a cool and collected façade, but under it all she was in a state of terror for our children. I must admit, hearing the prophecy about them and this Abigail my feelings was also all over the place. But Dana needed me to be her rock, and to be calm inside and out so I was. She turned to me, her eyes telling the true story about her feelings. They were both swirling pools of uneasiness. I opened my arms to her, and she went to me. I kissed the top of her head, and held her tight pouring all my love and comfort in that hug.
“We will get through this together my love.” I told her. “No one is touching our children, and no dark forces is taking them while I am alive. I will protect all of you!” I promised her. Dana huffed.
“I’ll do the protecting, you do the parenting.” She joked. I rolled my eyes and kissed her head again. I know she is stronger than me, but I was not just going to standing idly by if she or the children were in danger.
“Dana, we are in this together. You and I! I love you, and I know you are stronger than me, but I will not just stand by and watch my wife fight in my behalf. That is not what kind of man I am.” I told her in earnest. She nodded in understanding, but I knew this topic was not through being discussed.
Selene and Ophelia watched our exchange with softness in their eyes.
“Please keep each other safe. We and your children, need the both of you alive. Keres is on the move, she initially abducted Abby to get our attention. She is fine, but it was not easy I tell you. Now she made her move here. Something is cooking in the sneaky brain of hers, and we all need to be on the lookout.” Selene said with a serious expression on her beautiful face. We all nodded and I locked eyes with Benjamin an understanding spreading between Alpha and vampire king.
“We will work together, and we will keep our alliance strong. My Luna is the sister of the Queen, and in that regard I already view both Jayden and Dana as my family. I will always be at their sides, should the need ever occur.” Benjamin said in the most serious tone. We both smiled at him. He had descried how we both felt towards him. Yes, we had had a shaky start with him wanting to challenge me, Dana using her power and him finding Sami and the truth of it all. But as time went on, we became closer, and one day we would be real family through marriage.
“We feel the same way, and we will also be their to aid the White Mountain pack if ever needed. And of the note; Sami, Dana has something she wants to ask you.” Dana blushed and looked down to the floor. Clearly not wanting to do this in front of Selene and Ophelia. The two of them got the message and said goodbye.
“We will see you again soon. The day where you must meet Abigail and her mate is drawing near. But now, try and relax and enjoy your family here.” Ophelia said. Then they vanished in the bright silver and red light.
“So, Dana what did you want to ask?” Sami asks in a curious voice, eyeing my blushing wife who is now a deep red.
“I.. Uhm.. We.. Well, we wanted to know if you maybe wanted.. But you don’t have to say yes, you can say no if you want too.. I just.. Well.” I laughed at Dana’s incoherent words.
“Sami, we want to know if you would be the godmother of our son? We are asking Jordyn to godmother of our daughter.” Dana nodded, still not looking at Sami clearly embarrassed, even though there was nothing to be embarrassed about.
“You of course will be both their aunt, and you Benjamin their uncle. But we would be honored if you said yes anyway.” I finished. Sami looked shell shocked.
“You want.. You want me to be godmother?” She asked, like she was unsure if she heard that right.
“Yes, very much as a matter if fact; but you don’t have too, if you….” I was then interrupted someone flinging themselves at me and Dana, who froze on the spot. Sami was squealing in happiness.
“ARE YOU KIDDING? OF COURSE I WANT TOO!” She screamed. Her scream had alarmed the others, who in turn came rushing through the door.
“What happened? If everyone alright?” Max asked looking around for the threat. Sami only smile big, and shook her head.
“Sorry, that was me.” She said, still smiling like a loon. Everyone looked at the scene. I guess this was a good time as ever to ask my little sister.
Ten minutes later the two newly appointed godmothers were conspiring in the corner of the living room. Dinner was placed on the table, a little late, but still looking delicious. We all sat down, ate and talked. The atmosphere was a mixture of people trying to swallow that not less than three goddesses had shown up, some of us trying to be okay with the prophecy about the children and the some trying to lighten everything up and make the conversations fun and easy.
Dana was engaging in small talk but I could see the wheels turning in her head. She was still processing the fact that our children will be strong, and be the future of the realm. This would make anyone loose their s**t, but not my wife. She was thinking everything over, not wanting to alarm anyone.
After dinner we opened presents. I had gotten Dana a rose gold necklace with two heart intervened and a letter connected to both hearts. A J and a D, it would be standing for noth our names but also the names of our children.
“Oh, Jayden! It’s beautiful. Thank you so much.” Dana gushed, then she pecked me on then lips before turning around and asking me to help her put it on. It was made to be an addition to her current necklace with the rose in it. And it fitted perfectly. I was quite pleased with myself.
Dana got me a picture of the twins in a frame saying “See you soon daddy”. I loved it immensely, and would place it on my working desk in my office, so they would always be close while I was working. We got a lot of baby things; nappies, cloths as onesies, pants, shirts, dresses for our girl, some super hero themed clothes to our boy, pacifiers, furniture etc. We had not wished for anything, but we got everything. Dana also got some maternity clothes, self-care products etc. It was an evening to remember, for more than one thing.
Most of all I was just really happy to be with my family, wife and friends. Right here, this night, everything was right in the world. The issues would be future Jayden’s problem.
“What are you thinking?” The sweet voice of my wife sounded in my ear. I smiled, and placed her in my lap despite her protests.
“I was thinking of tonight. Despite of everything, the prophecy, the danger and everything in between. I am positive we can overcome it all, and this night has been perfect. Full of laughter, love and great food.” Dana laughed at the last part.
“Only you would focus on the food, and compare it to all the other things. But I agree. It has truly been a wonderful day and evening. Mostly because I have become your wife and partner in crime.” She wiggles her eyebrows suggestively. I grin at her.
“Mrs. Hamilton, if I didn’t know any better, I would think you were trying to seduce me.” I laugh. Dana simply stands up, takes my hand, bids goodnight to everyone and leads me upstairs.
“That, Mr. Hamilton, is exactly what I am doing.” She says with a wink.

New Years eve was fairly quiet. Dana and I stayed at a hotel, enjoying each other and having a great dinner. We stayed in the room, and sat on the balcony when the fireworks shut in the new year. It was beautiful and romantic. Everything we needed and more.
We new that a vampire pregnancy isn’t as long as humans. They were a little longer than a werewolves pregnancy, but not by much. The doctor explained it was because of the magic residing inside of us super natural beings.
Werewolves was usually pregnant for 3 ½ - 4 months, depending on the she-wolf and humans was pregnant for 9 months. Vampires usually went for between 4 ½ to 5 ½ months. Again depending in the vampire, and how many there was. We were going to meet these little ones in about two months, because there were twins in there they would probably come early. The hospital was already preparing, but Dana wanted to home birth the twins. I didn’t want to argue with my pregnant wife, so we had settled on “going with the flow on the day”, as Dana put it.
After New Years eve, we went into a cold January. Nothing out of the ordinary happened and we all enjoyed some down time.
We were preparing for the children, doing their nursery. Or rather me and the guys did the nursery, Dana being the General of the battle sat in a rocking chair and barking orders. Not that anyone mind, but her mood-swings kept us all on our toes. She would be happy one moment, and then BAM someone put a cloud (we had a heaven and earth theme in the nursery), in the wrong place and she would break down crying.
Dana rarely got mad, she would start sobbing, apologies and then sob some more. We would tell her again and again, no one was mad at her but she took these breakdown rather personal. My poor woman. I tried to nurse her as much as she would allow, and I enjoyed pampering her. We got the nursery done at the end of February and Dana was sitting in there humming to the swollen belly. She would either, hum, sing or read to the belly. Everyday! It was absolutely adorable, and I got teased a lot by Storm, Aron and Max because I had grown soft. But only when the girls didn’t hear.
Jordyn took her responsibilities as godmother very serious, and hell would break loose if someone said anything about Dana, me or the babies.
We were sitting in the living room, Dana was reading and I was playing on the PS. Suddenly Dana makes a funny noise, between a gasp and a grunt.
“Baby, are you okay?” I ask her. She shakes her head, and then she makes the sound again.
“THEY ARE COMING JAYDEN!” She then yells, and I panic.
