After calming down Emily started to think, "it my be my fault after all, maybe he was talking about how I left the trip without saying bye. I too would be mad if he did that." She finally understood what he meant by ' it's better this way' . He wanted to protect he's heart by staying away from her. She decided to text him since he wasn't picking up her calls, "hey, I'm sorry about everything I just got so jealous, I thought you were dating Lilly and I didn't want to make things complicated for you but I didn't know how to act around you guys, I am also sorry for leaving without saying goodbye that was just rude of, I also wondered why you'd have a thing for me. I understand if you want nothing to do with me but I was hoping to get a chance to talk to you in person. please come over."
