Luca said he's good byes, Emily wishing he didn't have to go, she was enjoying talking to him. Emily's fingers trembled slightly as she held her phone, her heart still fluttering from her conversation with Luca. She took a deep breath before dialing her mom’s number, she made a promise to keep her family in the know whenever she started dating or even the possibility of it. The phone barely rang twice before her mom picked up, her voice filled with warmth and familiarity. "Emily! I was just about to call you. How are you feeling?" Emily smiled, already feeling comforted. "Mom, I have news," she said, unable to keep the excitement from her voice. "I talked to Luca today and I think there is something there. " Her mom’s tone shifted instantly, a teasing lilt creeping in. "Finally!"
