Brooke's POV Captain William looks none the wiser about what we were doing down here below deck, which I appreciate, because we wouldn't have been able to have any of these sentimental moments without Shawn's help and discretion. He was very swift in letting Owen in and out while knowing what this meant to us, and what this could mean for him if he was caught because he allowed it to happen. But he does this anyway, which shows to me that he is a good friend to Owen and I hope it stays that way. But he has also warned him to stop staring at me with the sadness in his eyes, so I have looked away from Owen to make sure that William doesn't see us staring at one another or catching my glances that I keep wanting to throw his way.
