The guy

Next morning the Evans residence as well as the company was unusually quiet. Eliena had a bad mood that affected the office as well. Conner, one of her trusted from the core team and a friend that stuck with her from school time despite her attitude, eyed her cautiously before asking, " What is it? " She stared at him blankly, "Can I ask you something that is not related to office and have to be confidential?" Conner raised a brow at her then nodded slowly. It's a first. She never asks a favour. " I'll pay for it separately." 'There you go'.. Conner rolled his eyes. She walked behind his desk and tapped a few keys on his laptop. "Find everything about this man." Conner creased his eyebrows and tilted his head. It was a screenshot of the man from last night captured from a security camera at house. " How much time will you need for that?" Eli was already behind her own desk. " Depends on how important he is." Conner shot back. "Pretty much" , Eli slumped in her chair, "He attacked last night and spouted some nonsense. I need to know him to assess his next move." Conner had his eyes widened. He swallowed looking at Eli's extra calm demeanor. From his experience he knows that it's actually more dangerous. Because the more angry she is, the more calm and calculated she is. This dude must have messed up pretty bad. He started working right away. An hour later... Conner printed out some papers and shifted himself on Eli's desk with his laptop. He has the whole bio-data of the man, Jonas Thompson in hand. Eli skimmed through the papers and dataset before picking up her phone. She has some phone calls to make. The Jonas guy is actually petty. He will be easy to handle. The back up of this guy can be a little problematic but that doesn't mean she will let them be. If crossed path, she will give them hell. completed, she stood up. Conner gave her an eye. She raised a brow at him. "You are not going after that Jonas.. are you?" "I am not an errand girl. I don't do petty works like that. I am going home." "It's 3 in afternoon. You don't get up before 7 in evening." Conner deadpanned. " I have to talk to dad. He has some answers to give." She said absent minded.
