Heaven drew in a deep breath and struggled with the contraction hardening her belly. While she wished she would have told Dylan she was in labor earlier, she doubted it would have made a difference. He was determined to kidnap her and Addie, then take them to who knew where. His intense gaze shifted from her face to her stomach. The way his eyes seemed to bore into her left her queasy, or perhaps it was the amount of pain she was in.
