Chapter 11

Lily POV

"Blyane told me that you need to mark me before I leave." I bluntly came out and said it. "I was just waiting for you to feel comfortable around me and accept me as your mate. I didn't want you to rush into anything." Calvin said. I looked right in his eyes and I said, "I want you to mark me and I want to complete the mating experience. Kira has been wanting you to claim us the whole time."

"Do you feel like that?" It sounded like he couldn't believe me confessing my feelings. I did the only other thing that I could think about and that was to kiss him with all the passion and love that I felt. I got told that actions speak louder than words. Tonight actions spoke louder than words. The kiss led to us completing the mating process and now I was Calvin's and Calvin was mine.

Calvin woke me up with a kiss on my mark. "Hello beautiful." He said in the kiss. "Hello handsome. Now since I'm up we should get up and get ready for training today. Then tomorrow I say my goodbyes to the pack. Then on the third day I leave for a week." "Not a lot of time to spend with my mate. But I agree that you should come and help with training before you leave. The warriors need someone with your experience to train them." I quickly gave Calvin a kiss and then I ran out of the room.

I ended up running into Damon. "Where's the fire?" He asked. "Hey congrats it's about time!" He yelled after me. "Thanks" I yelled back. I kept running downstairs with Calvin not far behind me. I about ran into Ashton when he came out of the kitchen. "Good timing." He said. I hid behind Blayne when Calvin came into view. I started to laugh. "Good your marked." Blyane said in the link. "Congrats you two on becoming mates." Blyane said out loud. Calvin finally grabbed me and kissed me. Then everyone walked in. We all ended up sitting down at the table and eating.

"What are we going to do today?" I asked. "Well we are going to work on using the link. It shouldn't be that hard if you can use mindlink. Then after that then we can work on hand to hand combat and see what kind of training that you have had in the past." Ashton said. "I have never used mindlink before, because my other pack said that I didn't need to get a hold of people. But it shouldn't be that hard to figure out right?" "No it shouldn't be that hard to learn." Blayne said. "That sounds like fun but bad for the pack members. We have to work on hand to hand combat and trying to sneak up on people." Liam said in a sad voice. Which made me giggle because he was sad that he couldn't learn the things that I was going to learn.

After we had breakfast everyone got up and went their own way. "Go and find some training clothes and meet us in the living room." Blayne said. I nodded and headed upstairs and found a sports bra, a semi tight tank top and some shorts. I went downstairs to find both guys ready as well. "Lets go." Blayne said. We got outside and I shifted to my wolf and the guys took off running and I followed. We stopped at the beautiful lake that Calvin found me at. Blyane sat under a tree and gestured for me to sit next to him. I shifted back into my human form and sat next to him. "Close your eyes and clear your mind." His once strong powerful voice was soft and light.

I did as he told me. "Relax, you don't have to worry about anyone attacking us. Ashton is on watch." With that being said, I relaxed even more. "Now that you're relaxed, let's try to send a link. Think about Ashton and imagine yourself talking with him. Once you have him in your mind and you want to talk with him say hi, but not out loud." Blayne said softly.

We heard someone yell, "Rogues lake side." I blinked a couple of times and looked at Blayne who was deep in thought. "Tell Calvin to hold off we will take them down and we can practice while doing it." Blayne said. "Calvin if you can hear this hold off. Blayne, Ashton and I got the rouges." I said in mindlink. "Ok sweetheart. Be careful." He said back. I looked at Blayne and Ashton and linked them, "He will wait." They nodded and we heard twigs snapping and Ashton said in the link, "Get ready" Shortly after he said that a group of rogues charged at us full force.

We started to fight with the wolves. There were too many for me to stay in my human form so I ended up shifting and fighting that way. I saw a rogue try to sneak up on Ashton. "Ashton behind you!" I yelled in the link. He quickly turned and killed the wolf. We finished killing the rogues; there were seven of them total.

I shifted back to human form and sat down against the tree. I was trying to catch my breath when Blayne offered me his hand. "Get up I will carry you back." He said softly with a smile on his face. He helped me up and onto his back. "Were finished with training for the day. You did great Lily. You learned how to use the link quickly. That's good to know that you're a quick learner. Tomorrow you got a whole day to say goodbye." He continued to say while carrying me back to the pack house. I laid my head down between his shoulder blades and said, "That's good." Then I fell asleep. Without intending to.

Blayne POV

'She has potential' Dace said. Dace is my dragon. 'You think so?' I questioned him. Right now I'm carrying lily back to the pack house. I noticed her breathing slowed and I figured she fell asleep. "Does the big bad dragon king have a soft spot for a little wolf?" Ashton jokingly said through the link. "You know I try to be bad but for certain people I'm nice. Lily has this thing about her. I can't quite figure it out, it's like I have a connection with her." "I feel the same way, but I can't figure out why there is a connection with her."

'I think she is more than an ambassador for us dragons.' Dace said. 'What are you saying?' 'When we get little one home, take some blood and get it tested. If the test comes back positive, then ask little one if she wants to become a dragon.' Dace said. 'And make her choose between being a dragon or staying with her mate. Are you crazy?' I asked him. 'No I have a feeling about little one.' I just rolled my eyes at him. He took up calling Lily little one because she is small. But ever since I touched her I have had this feeling about her.

We got back to the pack house and I took Lily up to her room. I laid her down and sat on the bed and watched her. "Hey Blayne what's the matter? Is Dace bugging you again?" Ashton asked. "Yes, he wants me to test Lily and if the test comes positive to give her a choice about being a dragon or being a wolf with her mate." I explained. Ashton gave me a confused look and he said, "why did he say that? Usually he hates people that are not dragons?"

"I don't know, he says she has potential. I also feel this different connection to her. I don't know what it's about. I guess we will figure it out when we get home." I said. "Well she has been through alot. Look at her body, it's full of scars. Also if you look at her mates mark it looks like a heart that got stitched together inside a wolf. I wouldn't be surprised if she has something different about her. But Dace is hardly wrong about things." Ashton said. I nodded and watched as lily slept.

Then she started to toss and turn. Then she yells, "I will never be yours!" and she was sitting up crying and trying to catch her breath. I quickly wrapped my arms around her without thinking and she turned to me and cried in my shirt. She ended up crying herself back to sleep, but she kept a death grip on my shirt and wouldn't let go.

"Well I will let you guys be. See you around." Ashton said to me in the link. "Hey Ashton, can you talk with her family about setting up a goodbye party for her?" I asked through the link. "Will do. I will also tell Calvin that you're held captive." I smiled at him and looked back down at lily. Ashton finally left.

'Little one has the same nightmare' Dace said. 'What do you mean, Dace?' 'second time, the little one had this. It's when her parents died and the beta took advantage of her.' 'That's sad. Why would anyone do that to a ten year old girl? She is definitely a fighter.' 'I don't know but that is why I would like you to test her. I want to know what she is.' Dace said. I was going to reply back to him but the bedroom door opened and Calvin walked in. "Sorry she was exhausted after fighting the rogues and training. She had a nightmare and yelled, 'I will never be yours' Then she grabbed my shirt and cried herself to sleep." I explained to Calvin what happened.

"That's alright here, let me help you." He sat beside Lily and she immediately went to him. "How was her training?" "Good, she learns quickly. Tomorrow is saying goodbye. I don't know if you wanted to throw her a party because we crashed her birthday." "More like welcome the Luna that has to go train for a week party. Thank you Blayne." He said and I walked out of the bedroom. "Ashton what are you up to?" I asked through the link. "In the living room with a couple of guys." He replied. I went to the living room to find him. I found Dom, Dem, Damon, and Dusty having fun with Ashton. "Hey Blayne we were just talking about Demitri and I getting our butts handed to us by Lily." Ashton said. I noticed Damon being distant so I sat next to him. "How was her training?" He whispered to me.

"Good, she learns fast. So how did you find lily?" "Well we were doing our morning patrol and found a group of wolves attacking something on the ground. I thought they were attacking a fox or something. So I growled at them and they left. I walked near and wasn't expecting to see a girl. She was barely alive, her back was torn up and the rest of her body was cut, bruised, burned, and scared. I took her and cared for her. She was only fourteen when we found her and trained her a bit and she left to become an assassin. She has a fire inside her and she will fight for what she believes is right. She hates being treated differently. She always says women are downgraded and should have responsibilities for more things." He said. "Sounds like being a slave showed her what life really is. That women are not there to cook, clean, and please men. That being said, she will train with my men when she's with us and it won't be easy."

"Just to let you know. She has been everything; cook, clean, please men, fight, kill and the worst of all bait. She might be a nice and shy girl, but get her in training mode and she is mean, ruthless, and strong. But out of everything please take care of her. She's been broken and we finally put her back together." He said. With that everyone went to bed. I couldn't stop thinking about her back being torn up and the rest of her body scars from cuts. I eventually fell asleep.

Lily POV

I woke up in Calvins arms. I looked at the clock and it was eight in the morning. I got up and took a shower once I was done I got dressed. I found a dress that was light blue and reached to about my knees. The style was a halter top and it hugged every curve of my body. I found some silver flats to wear with it and let my hair down. Once I walked out of the bathroom I was tackled on the bed. Calvin was on top of me. "Hello handsome." I said. His eyes changed to black and then back to his normal color. "Hello, sorry Price just wants you to stay and not leave." I smiled and said. "Sorry the fate of the world depends on me. I have to go train with the dragons if we have a chance of surviving." "Your right. Today is the day I introduce the pack to you as their luna." I didn't know what to say. Then Calvin kissed me and said, "You will do fine. Now let's go have breakfast." He disappeared in the closet and came out dressed. We walked downstairs and had breakfast with everyone. The guys left. That left Bella, Callie, Blayne, and Ash. "Sorry we have to get ready for the party." Bella said, pulling Callie away.

"Are you two up to anything today?" I asked Blayne and Ash. "No, but we think that we should help you pack." Ash said. I nodded and we went up to my room. Blayne and Ashton were throwing clothes on the bed where I was sitting. "So do either of you have a mate?" I was being nosy. "No" Blayne said. They stopped and sat down on the bed with me. "We have some similarities but our way is different. See Both the person and wolf feel attracted to another werewolves. In Dragons it's kinda like that. Both the dragon and the person feel the connection, but usually the human side has the choice to take their mate or reject them. If they reject them then their Dragon gets a little weaker but if they accept mate then they get stronger. The person can love another and still mate and get stronger but the dragon doesn't agree. '' Blayne explained. "The issue we mostly have a lot is women throwing themselves at us because we are the highest ranking dragons." Ash added. "So do your dragons have names?" "Yes when we are in dragon form they take over. My dragon's name is Dace and Ashton's is Kai. That is why we needed to train you on linking." Blayne explained.

"What's you wolfs name?" Ash asked. "Kira and she is super happy about going with you guys." Both of them smiled at me. Then Blayne said, "A couple of things to expect. We have a lot of unmated males that will try to show off to you. We are sorry in advance. Then since we are royals we got a lot of girls trying to get us and they can be mean. Your room will be near ours and we will be your trainers." Blayne kept on going. "For the most part you will be with me the whole week." "Yes, we won't let anything happen to you." Ash said. I nodded and I got up and went to grab my bag. "Lily come here let me look at you back?" Blayne asked. I stopped and turned around for him to look at my back. "Why is your back worse than the rest of your body?" "They would cut and whip my back. They always said that they would rather have a beautiful front than back." Blayne touched my back and I just winced in pain. "Sorry did that hurt?" Blayne asked. "Yes, no one has ever touched my back and made it hurt. Those scars were made about six years ago. When I was ten years old."

Both Blayne and Ashton looked at each other. "Lily when we get back to the dragon realm I want to get your blood tested." Blayne said. "Why?" "Well you're not a normal wolf. Both of us feel a deep connection with you. We want to see if we are right or not. It's just a blood draw." Ash said. "I will do it. When do we leave?" "We are leaving at one am. Sorry for it being early but in order to have enough time for training. That's why we have to go early. But I think it's time for the party." Blayne said. Then Calvin came into the room. "All packed?" He asked, looking at my bag. "Yes, just confirmed that we will leave at one am." I said walking towards him. "Well let's tell the pack that they have a Luna." Calvin said with a smile on his face. He placed an arm around me and led me outside. The night went quick and I went to bed only to get a little bit of sleep.

Calvin POV

When Lily laid down on the bed and fell asleep cuddled up to me I was happy. I couldn't sleep, especially knowing she was going to be gone for a week. There was a knock on the door and Ashton came in. "Time to go." He said. "Okay" "Make sure she has something warm on." He added before leaving. I got up and got Lily some warm clothes to wear. Then I got her up.
