CHAPTER 15

MYXY’S POV To be honest, all I felt was nervousness. Who wouldn’t be nervous about the number of people around, even those I don’t know, and the majority of them are from other packs. I also did not imagine seeing so many people today. “Don’t worry, they won’t eat you alive,” Joy said as I turned to face her. “That’s not what I’m concerned about, okay,” I remarked as I straightened up. “What?” she inquired. “Myself; don’t I seem stupid?” I questioned, and Joy looked at me from head to toe. Suddenly, she laughed loudly, and with that force, the other people stared at me, and I wanted to escape from Joy’s undue attention. Haiden approached me, grasped my waist, and whispered to me, “You look lovely in what you're wearing.” I turned to face him and smiled. “Thank you,” I said, then glanced at Joy, then struck her, and she stopped laughing. “You were overjoyed with what I said, ahh,” I said, then she snorted. “I’m sorry, and my laughter got louder; it’s your question that’s stupid, not you,” she said, and I winced. “We’re going to start collecting and getting ready,” the Alpha remarked, and I merely nodded. Even though I was afraid, I didn’t show it, and I followed Haiden, who followed his parents. When we arrived at Alpha and Luna’s location, we decided to side with them. Everyone glanced at us, and then I took Haiden’s hand in mine, and he gazed at me for a second before returning his gaze to the people around him. They aren’t truly human, and I can’t even call them wolves because they all look human. Aunt Pneona and Joy were already standing there, staring at me, waiting for Alpha and Luna to say something. At first, it appeared that they were just indicating who would be the next in the Alpha's line, that he would be the Alpha of this pack, but now Haiden will be on the throne in the entire pack, an indication that I have done what we both agreed upon. “I’m delighted to see you all here today,” Luna said as she looked at everyone here. “You may now see the replacing of Haiden and Myxy on our throne, and they will be a complete Alpha and Luna from now on,” she concluded, as the people cheered. My nervousness intensified when I noticed Hover and Haike’s faces not far away and tried to speak to Haiden, but he couldn’t hear me due to the commotion all around. When I saw how they smirked, I knew something horrible was going to happen. I couldn’t help but be concerned about what Hover and Haike would do when the two of us sat down. Hover is the strongest of the two since he is the eldest, and Haike appears to merely accept what Hover dictates, which I don't understand. “Now I offer to both of you the task that you must perform: to take care of the entire pack and lead it; however, I would be more delighted if you give us a grandchild,” Alpha added mischievously, widening my eyes, and then I turned at Haiden, who was staring at his father. I disagree with what he said, and I will never give up on myself until he keeps his promise to save my mother. I simply cringed and disregarded what he said, and when the Alpha ended, they went down and chatted with the other folks present. I didn’t do anything except watch the folks have fun, and I couldn’t help but grin since they were so lovely to look at. “You seem like you’re having a good time,” I looked at Haiden, as my smile faded. “What do I care about you?” I said, and he chuckled. He approached me, then asked, “Don’t you want to enjoy a warm night tonight?” My eyes widened. “Are you crazy?” I said, and everyone came to a halt, looking at me. “Ahh... I’m sorry,” I murmured, looking at Haide. “I don't take your father’s words seriously, and if I were you, forget about what happened between us since it's nothing.” He merely sighed, rose up, and walked in front of me. I grimaced at him, especially when he extended his hand in front of me and said, “May I dance with you?” he asked. “They’re dancing, and we’re sitting; this would be for us, so let’s go,” he said. I couldn’t do anything but sigh. I reached for his hand, then we went down and danced in the middle where we were surrounded by other guesses. I couldn’t help but gaze into his eyes, and to be honest, I couldn’t help but be apprehensive despite the fact that we had been having fun earlier. I have nothing to worry about because I am not that type of creature. The weird delight in my breast swelled as Haiden held my hand, and we danced together. “What is it about wolves that they require someone to lead them?” I inquired, and he laughed before responding. “We are not like other people or witches, but we do require leaders who will properly guide us on what to do and have a law that everyone will obey.” He just meant a king and queen in another realm or a president who will be accountable to his people, when he stated that. I just groaned and didn’t ask him any more questions since I knew the answer. While the two of us were dancing, I felt his grip on my waist becoming tighter and tighter, and I tried but couldn’t get his hand off my waist. “H-Haiden…” I spoke his name before looking into his eyes. “Why are you clutching so tightly, Haiden?” I thought. He didn’t respond, but he leaned over my shoulder and smelled me. “Let’s go in,” he said quietly, but I could hear him whimper. “What... what happened to you?” I asked, then led him away. I called and Ran, and when they arrived, they escorted Haiden into a cabin, when where we could sleep together, when he sat, I did the same. I’m at a loss for what to do and am perplexed by what is happening to him. I gazed at Ran as his breathing increased, and the fur on his body seemed to expand. “What happened to him?” I ask. “Ah... Myxy... I’m sorry, but tonight is truly for the two of you; whatever happens, may you be happy,” Ran said as he drew Rara out of the cabin, which abruptly closed. “Ran!” I yelled, but he didn’t respond. “What should I do?” I pondered as I examined Haiden's position. I honestly feel like peeing in terror of him now, despite the fact that he’s attractive. He got near to me, and I clenched my eyes hard because of what he did, and I couldn’t do anything except lean against the wall because of what he said. “What are you doing?” I sobbed. He gripped my chin, then held it to his, and I opened my eyes. My eyes widened as he rushed to me with an unexpected kiss, and I almost couldn’t breathe. When he came near me, he grabbed both of my arms and raised them, which made my heart race. Later, I responded to his kiss, and his kiss became increasingly filthy as I pushed it even farther since I couldn’t breathe. I was wrapping my arms over his neck at the moment, unsure how to resist what was happening. First and foremost, I don’t want anything to happen between the two of us, and I'm disgusted with myself for being unable to resist it even in the beginning. “Myxy,” he called my name. “Hmm,” I responded but growled. He took me up and gently placed me on the bed. His eyes are green in hue. He stopped kissing me, stared at my lips, and I felt his hand crawl on my thigh. I don’t remember the gown I was wearing being torn or removed. But as I looked down, I saw that I was wearing nothing. I was stunned and didn’t expect to what happened. His hand was about to slide between my legs, which tickled me. “Hmm…” I said as I tightly closed my eyes. “You’re mine for tonight,” he said, but I didn't get it since I was enjoying what he was doing to me. I was mortified by what he did again, then he kissed me again. I lifted my head as a result of the kiss that gently slid from my lips to my neck. What’s going on with you, Myxy? You said you’d never give up your youth, but what are you doing now? I said in my head, then bit my lower lip. “Ugh…” I awoke the next day because the sun’s rays had hit my eyes. When I peered out the window, it was open, and because the bed was opposite the window, the sun could ray inside the cabin. When I realized that the ceiling above was different, I lay down and gasped. “Did I return home?” I wondered. When I sat down, the blanket that had been covering my body fell off, and I was surprised because it had suddenly become cold. When I looked in the mirror, my eyes widened as I realized I wasn’t wearing anything. I even lifted the blanket to see if it was all a nightmare, but I screamed because I wasn't wearing anything. “What happened? Why did it happen? Fcking s**t!” I became irritated with myself and clenched my eyes firmly. “Fck it, Myxy, you don’t want the one that happened, but it’s now happening! Wow! You moron!” I wanted to get lost in what happened, but I came to a halt as I remembered everything. The grip moved down to my chest when I touched my lips. I hurriedly took the blanket and covered myself after looking in the mirror. I shook my head, thinking that wasn’t true, and slapped myself, but I was still the one who was hurt in the end. I just bathed, dressed, and left the cabin. I returned to the cabin where I was staying, as well as Pompom. When I arrived, Pompom immediately greeted me, then barked at me, as if he was wondering where I came from and why I had just returned home. I let out a sigh and hugged him instead. “Pompom, did you know that something unexpected happened last night? You know I wasn’t yet given it up, but he got it,” I told Pompom as if I were a child. “Myxy!” I turned around and got up when I spotted aunt Pnoena and hugged her right away. “Aunt!” I yelled, and she grimaced. “What happened to you?” she was curious. “Aunty, you won’t believe what happened!” “Why, what?” “WAAAAAAA, I gave it to him,” I said, her eyes widening. “W-what?” “I-I don’t know how it happened, but it just seems like... Haiden got heated last night, then begged to go home, and then...” I stared at her and sobbed. “It’s gone,” I said, as my tears began to pour. I was taken aback when aunt Pneona burst out laughing and gripped her chest as if she was overjoyed with what I had told her. I sobbed even more as a result of what had occurred, and even though I wanted to punch my aunt, I couldn’t. She took my hand and brought me inside the cabin, where she made me something to drink. She handed it to me and sat across from me once she finished brewing. “They can’t help themselves sometimes, particularly when the moon is full. Was the moon blue last night?” she inquired as I turned to face her. “What exactly does that mean?” I ask her. “I thought you studied about wolves?” “N-not all of them. W-what?” “When the blue moon comes out, their strength and especially the heat of their bodies that they can’t resist will come out,” she explained, and I covered my mouth. I’m at a loss for words and holding my breath because of what’s going on. Aunt Pneona was laughing at me, mocking me further, and asking how I was feeling. My aunt left me in the cabin after we talked. When Pompom approached me when I was alone, I exclaimed. I looked at him, and he just smiled. “What did I do wrong?” I asked Pompom, who tilted his head and lifted one ear. “I will curse what happened last night for the rest of my fcking life.”
