MYXY’S POV
When I entered, I smiled at them, and the king immediately hugged me. When he separated from me, he smiled. We looked at the queen, and then I smiled at her. I don’t know what to say or what will come out of my mouth. But I seem to have forgotten what I intended here.
“What are you doing here?” the queen asked me.
I held my hand, then felt the one by the door of this room. I signaled them both to stay quiet, then I pointed to the door, and they understood what I meant. “I just want to check on you because there’s a party downstairs, and I think you’re needed there,” I said, then the queen smiled.
“Yea,” she answered.
The queen stood up, then she looked at the door, and I went to the door first. I immediately opened the door, and I slightly backed away. At that moment, the queen and the king looked at me, then they furrowed their brows. I looked at the ceiling and couldn’t help but push them away. I looked at the window and quickly went there, but it was so fast that it got down and jumped over the window, so I didn’t catch it.
I looked back at the king and queen, and then I helped them stand up. “I did not mean to push you. You need to hide first; I’ll take care of brother Mio. You need to be safe,” I said and then left them first.
I immediately headed downstairs to Mio’s palace, and when I got there, they didn’t seem to notice anything happening around them. They do not know that something is happening, and they do not know what is around them. It was right that their aunt was there, and I just grinned because I could see that she seemed to be upset about what she had done earlier.
“I thought you were with someone, but you were the only one following me earlier,” I said to myself and immediately straightened up.
I went down the stairs, then Mio looked at me, smiling. Marcus did the same. I don’t like the presence of both of them, and I also don’t like the presence that is spreading all around. When I got down, I looked at Makaia and gave her a plastic smile.
“Looks like you’re tired, Auntie, from going around the whole palace?” I said, then she also smiled plastically at me.
“Yes, it’s a little bit because I’m still not used to it,” she answered and looked at me for a while.
“I see,” I replied, then looked the other way.
I have no intention of doing a plastic attitude with this one, but I know she can’t do anything else either. If Maia knows what her aunt is planning, she probably already knows what Maia might know. I took a deep breath and then looked around to see if there were any other enemies.
“Attention, everybody.” We all turned to the speaker, and there were the king and queen.
I frowned because they didn’t follow what I said. “I really don’t like people who don’t know how to follow what I say,” I said, annoyed, and then I grabbed my head.
“Are you okay, Maia?” I turned to Mio and then nodded to her.
We looked at the king and queen, who had the red box behind them, and there was the crown. I felt something strange about the crown, and I felt it was more than just a crown. From the crown, I saw a strange gem shining and wondered what was in that gem. I looked at Makaia and saw the smirk on her lips as well as Macus’ strange smile.
“Then the gem I need is in that crown,” I whispered to myself.
I went up, then took the box and looked at all of them. When I looked at Makaia, her smile seemed to disappear and was replaced with a bad look at me, even though I hadn’t done anything to her. I looked at the gem and saw Maia there. She smiled at me, then nodded at me, and I did the same to her. While everyone was looking at us, I was also looking at Mio because I knew that something bad could happen at any time.
Again, I felt the strange black power all around. I saw Makaia and Marcus whisper, but I couldn’t hear what they said. I tried to listen to them with my power, and luckily I didn’t fail to use it.
“Everything is ready. When Maia places the crown on Mio, we will begin transferring you to his body, and you will rule this empire kingdom,” she whispered.
“Finally we can get what we want, mother,” Marcus whispered.
I took a deep breath, then looked at the king and queen, who seemed to be waiting for what I would say. I frowned because I was the one to speak; they didn’t even tell me. Anyway, I took a deep breath, then looked at the people around me. “I’m glad to see you all here to witness the transfer of the crown to the new king of Mathia Kingdom,” I said, then held up the box. “This crown is the symbol of a new beginning, a new law, and a new king for all of you,” I added.
Mio climbed up to where we were, and I could feel some kind of power approaching in Mio’s behavior. I don’t know what power Makaia used or what spell she cast on the entire palace that everyone else didn’t notice. I put down the box, then I looked at Mio, who was approaching me.
“Just a moment,” I said, then he stopped.
“Why?” he wonders.
“I just need to confirm something,” I said, and they frowned.
I looked at Makaia and could feel her getting impatient with me for taking the crown from Mio. I let the king touch the crown, then I smiled at him, and I could see Maia in the gem in the crown, and I honestly had no intention of placing this crown on Mio’s head.
I looked at the crown, then I lifted it up and winced because there was a strange white power that enveloped the entire crown gem. I looked at Mio, then I smiled at him and made him climb up so that I could place the crown on him. When he got close to me, he looked at all the people around him and smiled. Mio was blocking me, so I was able to remove the gem in the middle of the crown, then I replaced it with another gem.
I smiled at everyone, and then the king spoke. “Today we declare our eldest son Mio to be your next king,” he said, then looked at the people around us.
Mio knelt in front of the king and placed his right hand on the king’s left chest. As I looked at Makaia and Marcus, I couldn’t help but shake my head and smile at the thought that they would succeed in their plans. “I declare you as the new king of the entire Mathia Kingdom. To you, I entrust the new leadership of the entire kingdom, and to you, I also entrust the safety of all. You, Mio, my son, I appoint as King Mio,” he said and then placed the sword on Mio’s shoulder.
After he did that, I placed the crown on Mio. When I put it down, Makaia laughed loudly, and everyone looked at her. I felt the black magic, and I gasped when I felt something wrap around me. I looked at Mio, and the same thing happened to him. I saw the fear in his eyes, but he didn’t show it. He looked at Makaia and then Marcus.
“I didn’t expect my victory to be premature,” said Makaia, and we struggled to break free from whatever was holding us.
All the people in the entire palace panicked and didn’t know what to do. “You can’t do this, Makaia,” said the queen.
“I don’t care what you say, Mara,” she said, then she came to me and grabbed my chin.
I gave her a bad look, and she just laughed at me. “What do you think will happen when my son becomes king?” she asked, and I pretended to frown.
I didn’t reveal to her what I knew, and I didn't reveal that I knew what he was planning. “What are you doing, aunt?” I’ll inquire.
“What I’m doing is seizing this entire kingdom from you,” she said, turning to face the king and queen.
She turned her back and then looked at the people in the whole palace, and they did nothing but watch what was happening now. Don’t they know how to fight? I was stunned by what my eyes were witnessing. While looking at them, I couldn’t help but be annoyed and angry because they depended on Maia for their safety. That’s why the king said that to the queen.
I waved my hand, then I took all the swords or anything sharp that could be used, and I surrounded Makaia. She couldn’t believe what was happening, and she looked at me. She doesn’t know if I’m the one she’s accusing.
“Who controls this?” Makaia asked.
“You probably have another enemy, Makaia,” I said, then she looked around and found out what or who was controlling it.
She doesn’t know that I control it because only my eyes control it. “It can’t be,” she said firmly, then I grinned.
I looked at the swords, then brought them closer to her. She didn’t know what to do, but Marcus immediately countered that. I got bored with what happened, then I looked in another direction. I had to come up with another way to capture this girl. But how can I do that if we are all captive.
“Myxy.” I looked up when I heard Maia’s voice. “Use the gem,” she said, then I looked in my pocket.
Why didn’t I think of that earlier? I closed my eyes and then tried to feel the gem I was holding. I gasped as I felt the strength of power envelop my body. I didn't expect it to have this effect, and it seems like it fills what I need. When I opened my eyes, Makaia looked at me, and her eyes were angry.
“MAIA!” she shouted Maia’s name.
I just grinned at her, then I got out of the bind. When I did that, I quickly sewed my hand so that she couldn’t get close to me because of the swords around her neck and surroundings. I don’t know how I did it, but I felt a good feeling, especially since I also felt the power of the gem.
“If you think you will win for what you did, you are wrong, Makaia. You are not the only one who has the power here. Because I don’t care who you are. I know you’re not just the queen’s sister, and I don’t know what witch land you come from, but... it’s not insignificant that I'm stronger than you when it comes to casting spells,” I said as I approached her.
I also released the king, queen, and Mio gradually. When they were free, I returned my gaze to Makaia and placed a sword around her neck, causing her to lift her head. “Maia is not just a princess; she can be a leader to anyone. But I can assure you of one thing, Makaia: this child will be the end of your greed,” I said while looking at her.
Her brow furrowed at what I said, and then she looked at the queen and looked back at me. “W-what do you mean?” she asked me, and I grinned even more.
“This body has another personality inside. I’m not Maia,” I said, and her eyes widened at what I said.
I raised one of my hands, then I cast a spell to separate my body from Maia. When I did that, I was amazed that I could still do that thing. I looked at Maia, and she was just looking at me. I did not expect what I did, and I never thought that I would be able to separate from Maia’s body.
