Chapter 16: Know nothing

Ananya's POV~
After coming from the restaurant, I immediately went towards Ayu's room. I am worried about him. I left him for a long time for the first time.
"So..Did you enjoy today?", Austin asked.
"Yeah..I enjoyed but the prank was not good", I pouted.
"Sorry", Austin said guiltily.
"Hey...It's okay...but I like it that you are much more comfortable with me than before", I said while going to my room.
I saw Ayu is sleeping on the bed. The maid just sat beside him. She placed pillows on the either side.
"I will come in 5 min", I said to the maid and went to the bathroom. I washed my hands thoroughly. I changed my clothes and went outside.
The maid was not there. Austin just sat on the bed. He looks like he is thinking something.
I slowly went near my baby. I removed the pillow and back hugged Ayu. Austin didn't even notice me.
I snapped my fingers in front of him. He came out of him thinking section.
"What happened?", I asked.
"Nothing...", he said.
"You changed already...Let me change and I will join you guys", he said and went to his room.
Although I want to ask him. I just want to give him some time and space to think about us, about our relationship.
I just looked at my Ayu who has become the reason for my existence. I smiled looking at him. I slightly caressed his cheeks.
"May I join, your highness?", he asked. I smiled looking at him.
"Of course you can, your highness", Is aid while giggling.
He removed the pillow from the other side of Ayu and settled there. We both are opposite to each other with Ayu between us.
"You know...I love Ayu so much..", I said while caressing his cheek softly. I don't want to disturb him on his sleep.
"I know..", he said. I just looked at him. He was looking deep into my eyes. I shivered at his gaze. I immediately break the eye contact.
I placed my hand on Ayu and he placed his hand on mine. I immediately looked at him. He is already staring at me. He just squeezed my hand in assurance. I just smiled at his concern.
"Anu...I know you are still not used to it..but trust me..I will give my 100% to us..", Austin said. I nodded.
Then we both started talking about Ayu. She started about how he likes her..How she like him..How he is important to her..how he behaves when he don't like something..how he select his dress. I just listened to her.
"Am I talking too much?", I asked.
"No...I like listening to you about Ayu..but I want to listen about you...I want to know about you.. ", He said.
"What do you want to know about?", I asked.
"Anything about you", he said.
"Me?", I said.
"Yeah...I know nothing about you...You know everything about me..", he said. I just smiled.
"So...What is your favourite color?", he asked.
"I like Blue", I said.
"What is your favourite cuisine?", he asked.
"Although I prefer Indian food. I like Chinese as well", I said.
"Okay..Let's get Chinese next time", he said. I smiled.
"What are your hobbies?", he asked.
"I was a doctor so I didn't get to explore much but I like reading books so much", I said.
"What is your dream?", he asked.
"Huh?", I said
"What do you want to do in future?", he asked.
"I just now want to focus on Ayu", I said.
"But you did dream something right?", he asked again.
"Ohh...I wanted to help everyone who is in need. I wanted to become a helpful doctor for everyone. That's why I started a program for patients who need some money for there procedures", I said.
"I'm sorry...Because of me..You didn't get to live your dream", Austin got up and looked at me guiltily.
"No Austin...Please don't..Ayu is my first priority ", I said while getting up.
"Please don't..I know you felt bad..I'm sorry for everything ", Austin said.
"No Austin..Although I felt bad at first but look Austin...Ayu is in his tender stage now..We should nurture him with live and affection. Ayu is my first and foremost priority ", I said.
"So don't feel bad..Come to think of it..Even I think I would take a break to take care of Ayu..", I assured him. He just gave me a small smile.
"Come on...don't be sad..", I said.
"But you can join back the hospital when you want to", Austin said. I just nodded.
Soon we both heard a giggle. We both looked at the source of that giggle and smiled at each other.
I took Ayu in my arms. I leaned on the bed rest. I put him in my lap.
"Oh...My Ayu woke up", I said in a childhish voice. He just placed his face in my neck. He wrapped his arms around my neck. I smiled while caressing his back.
I saw Austin sat beside me and wrapped his shoulder on me.
"Ohh...All the cuddles and hugs to your Mamma...What about Dadda?", Austin asked in baby voice. I was stunned when he refer me as Mamma to Ayu. My eyes teared a little a bit but I stopped myself from crying.
I slowly gave Ayu to him. Austin took him in his arms. Ayu just wrapped his arms around his neck. I smiled. I looked for the phone and clicked their pictures. Austin just caressed his back.
After some time, I just cleaned Ayu's face. I asked the maid to get some milk. He will be hungry again. Austin just playing with Ayu. I just sat with them on the bed.
The maid came with the milk. I took the milk and checked the temperature. It was fine.
"Austin..Can you give him to me? he will be hungry?", I said. Austin nodded.
I took Ayu in my arms. I took him to the balcony with his sipper on my hand.
"Ayu...Look", I said while making him look at the view. It's a little cold.
"Here is your milk", I said while handing the sipper. These days he tried to do everything by himself. It's also queue that he is growing too fast.
I sat on the sofa and he started drinking his milk.
"Baby...Did you like the milk?", I asked. He giggled.
"Likr...", he started saying gibberish. I laughed looking at him.
After drinking the milk, I placed the sipper at the side.
"Baby...Let's go inside", I said.
After that we both started playing in his playroom. Austin joined us. I like that he tries to spend his time with me.
Suddenly, my phone started ringing.
"You go..Lift the phone..I will take care of him..", Austin said. I smiled and nodded.
I went to my room. I picked the phone and smiled seeing my mom called me.
"Hello Ma..", I said smiling.
"Hello..Anu.." , Mom said.
"How are you?", I smiled.
"Wow..Anu...You sound different today...Anything special", Mom asked.
"Nothing mom..I'm fine", I said.
"So Anu...You know right...It has been so many days we have seen you...Will you come and visit us? Although your dad seems like he don't care but he cares, beta", Mom said.
"Mom..Actually.. ", I started thinking of any reason.
My mom always asked Austin, Ayu and I to come to India.
"Mom..You know..There will be a weather change..I don't..know..if they can...", I was cut off when my phone was taken by someone. I gasped. He kept the phone on speaker.
"Hello..", Austin said.
"Hello..Damad ji..", Mom said.
"Hello Aunty", Austin said again.
"Hello beta...", Mom said.
"Damad ji..Can you please visit us in India?There has been so many days we didn't saw Annu and Ayu...Will you please come to India?", Mom continued.
"Mom..I said right? Actually...They can't bare the..", I said but cut off by Austin.
"Sure Aunty...We will come..I will sort my schedule and soon will be coming to India..", Austin said.
"Thank you..Thank you so much", Mom said.
"It's okay,aunty", I said.
"I will update you personally..", Austin said.
"Thank you, Damad ji", Mom said.
"Okay ma...Bye...I will call you later ", I said.
"Okay beta...Take care of yourself and Ayu..", Mom said and hung up the call.
"Austin...", I was about to say something but he placed his finger on my lips.
"Anu...Please..She is your mother..We can atleast do this much..", Austin said. I nodded.
"So don't argue", Austin said and I nodded. He removed his finger on my lips.
"I will look into my schedule tomorrow...And we can go to India as soon as possible..Also Ayu also need a warm hand in his childhood right?", Austin said. I nodded.
"Are you happy?", Austin asked.
"Yes..I am..", I said.
"But what is Aunty calling me?", Austin asked.
"What?", I asked being confused.
"Da..Some..Damad..", Austin asked stuttering.
"Oh Damad ji...It means son in law", I said smiling.
"So what should I call her?", Austin asked. I was amused when he trying to how to speak.
"You should call her 'ma'...", I said.
"Okay", Austin smiled.
"Okay...I will be in study...I need to attend a video conference..", Austin said. I nodded.
