Chapter 13: Different side of him

Ananya's POV~
"I feel the warmth around you...I like when you hug me..That finally we are something...I want us to like any other couples in love", I said.
"We will be...I will try my best to be a good husband to you...", he said while placing a kiss on my forehead. I smiled at him.
"So...Freshen up... I will freshen in my room.", he said.
"Okay..", I said. He smiled and went to his room.
I went inside the bathroom. My heart was still racing by remembering his words. I placed my hand on my heart and tried to calm down. I smiled remembering our moments.
I freshened up fastly. I wore a saree today. I came out of the bathroom rubbing my wet hair.
I wore nupital chain around my neck. I applied vermilion on my forehead. I smiled looking at myself in the mirror.
Finally, he accepted our relationship. Although we have differences, in our cultures and beliefs....I think we can overcome it by our understanding, respect for each other.
Suddenly,I felt someone hugging me from the back. I startled for a second. I sighed in relief when I saw Austin hugging me from back.
"Why are you smiling to yourself?", he asked while looking at me from the mirror. I just looked down not able to look into his eyes. He placed his hand on my bare waist. I shivered at his touch.
"What happened? Why is your face so red?", he asked while turning me around. He cupped my face looking at me and also made me look at him.
"I..I am fine..", I said while looking at him.
"Are you sure? You don't have fever?!", he asked while placing his hand on my forehead.
"Austin...I am fine..", I said while slightly removing his hands from my face.
"Okay", he said in a low voice.
"Come on...let's go...Breakfast is ready...We can eat now...", he said while holding my hand.
"They already prepared breakfast?", I asked while looking at him.
"Yeah...I asked them to prepare it..", he said.
"I know you are tired..", he said while tugging my hair behind my ear.
"But...I like..to..", I was cut off when he placed his finger on my lips.
"I know you want to prepare everything..but we slept late yesterday...I don't want you to get tired..", he said. I pouted hearing him but nodded. He chuckled seeing me.
"You are so cute..", he said while squishing my cheeks. I just giggled hearing him.
"How about you prepare lunch for me? Come to my office", he said.
"Okay...I will come with Ayu then", I said.
"The weather is not nice...I think it's better if Ayu stay indoor", he said.
"Yeah...Yesterday, he went out with me..Okay...I will come with lunch..", I said smiling.
"Okay..Let's go...", he said.
We both went downstairs. I saw playing with a maid in living room. I went near him and took him in my arms.
"Did you miss me?", I asked.
"Yeshh..", he answered.
"Ohh...I missed you too", I said while kissing his cheeks. I heard someone clearing their throat. I turned around to see Austin staring at us.
Ayu just wrapped his arms around my neck not leaving me.
"Ayu...Let's eat breakfast..", I said. He giggled again.
I started making Ayu to eat. When Austin is not eating, "Why are you not eating?", I asked.
"I want to have breakfast with you..", he said.
"But you will be late...for your work...", I said.
"You will dare to question the owner of the company..", he smirking looking at me. I just averted my gaze away from him.
After making Ayu eat, the maid took him to his playroom. Then we both started eating the breakfast.
"So...What is your favourite food?", he asked.
"Oh..I don't have any favourite..I just eat anything...but I am missing Indian street food as it's been so long..", I said.
"Ohh...What is your favourite color then?", he asked.
"Why are you even asking these questions suddenly?", I asked.
"It's...I want to know about you...you don't want to know about me?", he asked.
"I know about you...You don't like shrimp...You are allergic to peanut...Your favourite color might be black..You like Thai food...You like to go out so much...You like to drink....You smoke as well...You don't like bread..You like cheese...You like fried food more.You like to exercise...", I said unconsciously without realizing what I'm even uttering.
"Woh...woh..How did you even know about all these things?", he asked being shocked.
I immediately came out of my trance. Now I am realizing what I did.
"I..I...", I stuttered.
"I observe a lot...", I said looking at him. Now the situation has become do awkward. I cleared my throat don't know how to come out of this.
"Ohh", he said and didn't stretch the topic again.
"Okay...I am done...", he said while getting up.
"Yeah...me too", I said.
I went with him upto the entrance. He hugged me tightly. I hugged him back smiling like a fool.
"Bye...I will wait for you...at the office..", he said while pecking my lips. I was shocked but immediately recovered from it.
"Bye..", I said.
Soon he went off but still I smile thinking about the events that are happening.
I went inside. I saw the security around the house was more than usual. Why does he even need a lot of security? May be because he is a CEO of a big company. When I saw the guards from window...they look so scary....I don't know why?
Maybe I should ask him why we need a lot of security?
After preparing the lunch, I went upstairs. I saw Ayu is playing with the maid. He squealed looking at me.
He signalled me to take him into my arms. He raised his hand towards me to lift him up.
"Come on baby", I said while lifting him in my arms.
"You can go ahead..", I said to a maid. She smiled and went off.
"Let's play for sometime..", I said to him. He just nuzzle his nose of my neck.
After playing for sometime, I also feed him because he will only eat when I make him eat.
I have asked a maid to look after Ayu. I packed the lunch to Austin. I made a Thai curry for him. I hope he likes it.
After that, I freshened up myself. I tidied myself by adjusting the saree plets correctly. After I was satisfied with my appearance, I smiled and went towards Ayu.
I took him in my arms.
"Ayu baby...I will be going to dad's office..", I said. He looked at me with his innocent eyes.
"I will be coming soon...Be a good boy...", I said.
After that I went downstairs, I took the lunch box that packed and went out.
I saw a car being ready. The driver opened the car door.
"Ma'am....Mr.Knight asked me to get you to the Knight group", the driver said while looking down.
Why is he so scared to even look at me?
"Okay..", I said and sat in the car. I saw him closing the car door. He went towards his seat and sat down.
He started the car and I just sighed.
"What is your name?", I asked.
"Jordan ma'am ", he said.
"Why are you calling me ma'am? You ca call me Ananya", I said.
"We don't dare to ma'am....Mr.Knight strictly asked everyone to call you either Mrs.Knight or ma'am..", he said.
"Okay..", I said.
I saw that there are one car which is following us behind.
"That car is following us...", I said in a low voice being scared.
"Don't worry ma'am...It's just the security team assigned for you", he said.
Why I need this much security? I feel like I am being watched...I should ask Austin about it...He need security not me..He is the big shot not me..Arghhhh...
Soon we reached the office. When I was about to open the door, he already opened the door for me. I sighed.
I took the lunch box and went inside. When I went inside, my eyes widened seeing the interior design of the building. I just looked around the building.
I went towards the receptionist. I saw her rolling her eyes looking at me.
"Yes...How can I help you?", she said in a boring manner.
"May I know in which floor Mr.Austin Knight is working?", I asked in a polite manner.
"Do you have an appointment? You can't just barge in and ask where is the CEO of the company?", she said rudely.
"Could please call and say that Ananya is here? He will know", I said.
"Ohhh...Shut up...There are many women who comes saying this...Look at yourself..before standing here..", she sneered at me. I looked being shocked at her response.
I want to call him but I didn't bring the phone
How stupid of me..
"Please...Believe me..I...", I was cut off by her.
"Oh please...Shut up...Get out", she said. I just looked down don't know why she is insulting me like this...
"If you don't send me, that's fine...Can you please take this lunch box to Austin...He must be starving", I said while looking at her.
"I can't believe you...What a slut...", she spewed.
"Stop it...I am behaving politely..and you are insulting me..", I said loosing my cool.
"Oh..you got some guts...Huh? Security", she yelled. I flinched at her loud voice.
She grabbed me forcefully.
"Ahh!! Leave me..", I yelped in pain.
"You will not listen like this", she yelled and about to raise her hand. I stopped her hand.
"How dare you raise your hand?", I raised my voice.
Soon security people came and look at me.
They were about to grab me.."I dare you to touch her..", I heard a familiar voice.
When I raised my head, I saw Austin standing there who is fuming in anger.
"Austin...", I said and ran towards him.
"How dare you disrespect my woman in my territory?", he roared in anger. I saw everyone stood still and looking at us with shock.
"How dare you even went near her?", he said. I saw the security people shivering at his tone.
"Get rid of her", he said.
"Yes Mr.Knight", I heard a man speaking from behind.
I saw few men coming and grabbed the girl.
"Mr.Knight...Please...I'm sorry...I didn't know that she is Mrs.Knight", she pleaded.
"Should have thought before misbehaving with her...How dare you raise your hand?", Austin said in a cold voice. Everybody shivered at his voice.
"Austin...Don't do anything with them..", I said. He looked at me with 'are you serious' look?
"Please!!", I said.
"Anu...Don't interfere in this..", he said while gesturing something to the man behind. He just nodded.
Before I can say something, he dragged me to a elevator. He literally pushed me inside and he came beside me.
"Aust...", I said.
"Shh", he said while placing his finger on my lips. He pulled me towards him. I gasped at his action. I placed my hands on his chest. My heart beat fastened at his action.
He wrapped his arms on my waist. He placed his chin on my shoulder. Goosebumps erupt on my body. I am breathing heavily.
"Anu....", he said.
"Austin..", I said while wrapping my arms around his waist still carrying his lunch box.
"Why are you like this?", he said.
Before I can even say anything, we both hear the elevator sound.
He broke the hug and again dragged me. I saw that some people are working. Everybody has shock on their faces.
"Austin...Leave me..I will walk", I whispered to him. He impatiently glared at me.
"Austin...Everybody is looking at us..", I said.
"Everybody...Get back to work", he said in a cold voice. I just looked down being embarrassed.
Then he pushed me into a room. He slammed the door. I flinched at the sound.
"What are you even thinking? you don't know how to speak?", he said. I looked at him shocked. I placed the lunch box on the table.
"Why did you let that damn person say anything to you?", he yelled. I flinched at his voice.
He immediately came towards me. He cupped my face.
"Baby...You are my wife...Mrs.Ananya Austin Knight...You just can't let anyone insult you...", he said while looking at me. Tears started flowing from my eyes.
"Don't cry...Please...don't cry", he said while hugging me tightly. I wrapped my arms around him and cried on his embrace.
"Why didn't you call me huh?", he asked.
"I forg..ot my phone..then she w.as no..t allo..wing me...she di...dn't ev..en tell me whe..re you are?", I said while crying.
"And tha..t secur..ity gu..ards are so sca..ry...I wa..s sc..ared", I said.
"You don't need to be scared..I will not let this happen again", he said. I just nodded.
"but you should carry your phone", he said sternly.
"Okay...I won't forget", I said in a low voice.
After some time, we broke the hug. He wiped my tears.
"Don't cry now...", he said. I nodded.
"You must be hungry right? Eat your lunch..", I said. I made him sit on the couch. He sighed looking at me.
"Did you had lunch?", he asked when I opened the lunch for him.
"No...I will have the lunch at home..", I said.
"I prepared your favourite Thai dish...", I said smiling while gesturing him to eat.
"You will eat with me...Let's share the lunch", he said.
"No..Austin..It's fine..", I denied.
"I'm not asking you...I'm telling you that you will eat with me..", he said. I pouted hearing his sentence.
How rude..
He placed a spoon full of food infront of me mouth. I looked at him with shock.
"Eat? What are you thinking?", he said. I just nodded being in shock.
After I ate the food, even I want to feed him. When I kept a spoon infront of him. He smiled at me and eat the food. Like this, we both feed each other.
I don't know what to say...I just saw a different side of him where he can't even see tears in my eyes..I smiled thinking about us.
