Chapter 7: Apology

Austin's POV~

I went to my brother's plant as he called me to come urgently.

"What happened now?", I whined at him. He glared at me.

"Do you even know what is happening in your company?", he asked while he is gesturing something..At first, I didn'tunderstood anything...but I got while he smirked at me...I understood that someone wiretapped my brother..I smiled.

"Why do you even care?", I asked coldly.

"Because it's my business..", he smiled at me.

I took a floor vase and slammed it on the floor. He gestured thumbs-up and smirked at my acting.

"it's mine...", I said while smiling but my voice was cold.

We both faked the argument and Lastly I slammed the door of his cabin saying, "Mind your own business, big brother", I said. He smirked at gestured me to wait for him at our hideout. I gestured a thumbs-up and went outside.

I broke a glass temple with a big vase.I smirked as all the body guards looked at me and flinched.

"What are you looking at?", I yelled with an intensity. All of them flinched at my voice. I yelled again and went off smirking.

After making sure, nobody is following me...I reached our hideout.

I laid on the sofa and looking at some documents.

"Wow!!!", I heard my brother's voice while he is clapping and smiling at me. I hugged him and he hugged me too.

"You deserve an Oscar..AK", he said while ruffling my hair and breaking our hug.

"Hey...I am not small kid..", I said.

"But to me..You are..", he said.

"So...Who is that...fucker?", I asked.

"I had a doubt on him...It got clear today...You know me..I will handle it..", he smirked.

"I know", I said.

We both sat on the sofa..We both talked about our recent business dealings.

"That...Mr.Stone...He is being...Too much...", I said.

"I know...let's give him one chance...and finish him..", he said.

We both started drinking some wine and talking things.

"So...Do you have any good news?", My brother Ethan asked.

"What good news?", I asked being puzzled at his question.

"Are you serious? it's been 9 months...you got married..What are you doing? ", he asked. I looked away.

"Don't tell me..You didn't do anything after you know the truth...", he said. I was silent.

"We didn't..", I was about to but he cut me off by saying.

"Don't say we didn't...it's you who didn't make any efforts..I bet she might have tried..", he said. I looked down.

"Austin..Don't do this..We know..she is innocent..", he said and I nodded.

"She is not like other girls...Atleast try to make some efforts..", he said.

"Okay", I said.

"You better do that...I know she is a gem..Don't miss her..There might be chance someone may steal her from you", he said with a mischievous glint.

"No way...She is mine", I said in panick. He chuckled.

"You better say that in front of her..I don't know anything...but be good with her..Be a good husband to her...as she fulfilled every duty of her with utmost sincerity for you", he said. I just nodded qhile listening to him.

After talking for sometime, We both left to our places. When I entered the home, I saw Ananya is working in the kitchen. My blood boiled seeing that, she is making dinner when the while house is filled with maids.

This woman makes me so angry. I dragged her to the room. Because of my voice, she flinches hard and cries looking at me.

This woman will never listen to me. Even I gave her any scolding...she doesn't care..I have to teach her a lesson.

So I scolded the maids the infront of her so that she won't dare to do this again. Exactly, She did what I think. I angrily went to my study.

Although I made her stop working in our home but she again cried because of me. I run my fingers through my hair feeling frustrated.

I looked through the window, I saw her sitting on the bench talking something to out head maid. I observed her. After the head maid left, still she is sitting outside in the garden that too the weather is too cold.I don't know what but she is thinking something deeply.

This woman makes me speechless..

I went downstairs and ordered the maids to bring Ayu and serve the lunch. When I speaking to Ayu in babyish voice, he giggled. I stopped talking to him when I saw her.

After Ayu's dinner was done, I ordered the maid to take Ayu to the play room so that she can eat..

"If...if you have any work..you can go...I will complete the dinner.. ", she said trembling by his gaze.

I saw how she is trembling in front of me...I wanted to make her feel free..So I just decided to tease her...

"Now..you will tell me what should I do?", I asked while slightly smirking at me.

"...N..no..no...I don't mean that...I...I...", I stuttered due to nervousness.

"Why are you scared? Where is that woman who argue with me.?", I laughed looking at her nervousness

"She died..", she said in a low tone. My heart just felt heavy by listening to her word.

"I don't..mean...it", she said panicking but I silently left because I didn't have courage to face her.

I went to my study. I kept my hands on my forehead sitting on my chair. I don't know but my heart twitched when I heard her. Did I really make her helpless? When I remember the incident when I slapped her on anger on the other day. When I stepped my feet on her hand. My heart and mind were a mess. Although I know the truth...I pretended..I made her life like this..

Although I know I did wrong to her..I don't have the courage to leave her. I don't have the courage to apologize...I did what ai thought is the best...Ignore what I know..

A lone tear escaped my eyes. Why my heart is hurting like this? I placed my hand on my heart.

Ahhh.....What the hell is happening?

Suddenly, I heard my phone ring. I saw my brother calling.

"Speak...", as soon as I answered the call.

"What happened?", he asked worriedly.

"Nothing...", I said.

"Come on..bro....I know from your voice that there is something wrong...", he said.

Then I narrated everything what happened between us in dinner.

"Bro...But I didn't expect that you slap her like this...", he said.

"I am disappointed with you..", he said. I know he is gritting his teeth.

"I know..I am sorry..", I said.

"You know...You don't have to say sorry to me...You should say to her..", he said.

"I will do that", I said.

"Don't delay it...Or else you will regret it...She is gem of a person..", he said.

"I know..but how?", I asked.

"Apologize first and be friends with her..Just get to know each other...Soon you will understand her..you will love her..", he said.

"That's nor going to happen...I promised myself..not to fall in love..", I said.

"Love can happen at any time..You will not have any control on your feelings when you are in love...", he said.

"Why are you being lovesick puppy?", I asked laughing.

"Because....I might have a good news to share", he said.

"What is it?", I asked.

"I found the girl..", he said being excited.

"Really? Are you serious? Where did you find her?", I asked being excited.

Suddenly, I heard a knock and someone open the study door. I saw Ananya standing being shocked.

She came inside with a hurry steps.

"What are you talking about?", she asked in a low tone.

"What do you need?", I asked.

"One minute, bro", I said in the phone.

"Nothing...I...", she said and tears pooled in her eyes.

"Hey...What happened?", I asked while looking at her with confusion.

"Austin...Please I love Ayu very much...I can't be away from him...", she said while hicupping.

"What are you even talking about? Get out", I yelled. She looked at me with shock.

"Austin please..I will do anything ...Please...I love Ayu...Don't throw me out", she said while crying.

"What the hell is happening here?", I heard another voice.

"Bro...What are you doing?", I asked.

"Actually I was coming here only....to share the good news...", Ethan said.

"You...", she said while glaring at Ethan.

"How could you do this to me? You said on my wedding day that you consider me as your sister...Then why? Why? You only said that I should try to understand Austin...Then Why are you doing this to me?", she cried while grabbing Ethan's collar tightly.

My anger increased seeing her behavior. She is misbehaving with my brother.

"Get off your hands now..", I yelled while yanking her hands away from my brother's collar.

"You...How can you do this to me? I will not leave my Ayu at all? I will not leave this house at all?", she yelled.

She cried while yelling at me. Ethan and I just looking at her with confusion. Why she is crying? What is the reason?

"Can you f*****g tell me the reason? What is the reason that you are behaving like this?", I yelled. She flinched and cried really hard again. My heart hurts seeing her like this.

"Austin...Why are you yelling at her..?", Ethan yelled at me.

Ethan went near her. He made her sit in the couch. He knelt in front of her. He made her drink water.

"I never broke the promise..that I did", Ethan said while patting her hair. Tears are flowing from her eyes continously.

"Stop the bloody tears, damn it..", I yelled being frustrated.

"Austin...I don't want to hear your voice right now...So just shut up", Ethan yelled and glared at me.

"So...Tell me..What's wrong? When I broke the promise that I gave you?", Ethan asked.

"You... broke ....it ...just now..", she said while hicupping.

"Now? How ?", Ethan said being dumbfounded. She looked at me. She trembled. Ethan squeezed her hand.

"Come one...You can tell me...", Ethan asked.

"You...are he..lping him..to..find..her..", she said while crying..

Her...How she know about my brother's first love?

"After..that...he..will...kick..me..out...You all will make me go away from Ayu...I..will...not leave my Ayu", at last she said.

Then, Ethan and I understood what she meant. She is thinking we are searching for my first wife...Who will tell her...the truth is not the same..I will not search for someone who don't want me..

"You broke your promise..You don't even think about me once...I will not leave my Ayu...", she cried while hitting Ethan.

I took her wrist and pulled her towards me.

"Austin!", Ethan yelled.

"Bro...It's my matter...Don't interfere.. ", I said.

"You...I can't believe you...I will not leave my Ayu...", she yelled while crying.

"Leave me...Leave my hand...", she said while hitting my chest.

"Ethan..Bro...I will handle this...You go", I said. I assured him that I will not do anything with her.

"Austin...I trust you this time..", Ethan and left. She looked dumbfounded when Ethan left.

"So..wifey...Let's go to my room..", I said and dragged her to my room.

"I will not come with you...Leave me..leave me..", she yelled and trying to get out of my grip.

Finally we reached the room, I throw her inside the room. I entered and locked my room.

She trembled and flinched when I walk towards her. My heart break in pieces when I saw pain in her eyes.

When I talk a step towards her, she took a step backwards. Finally she fall down the bed and I hovered above her.

She closed her eyes in fear.

"I will not leave my Ayu...He is my son..", she said.

"Who said you will leave Ayu or this house?", I asked. She shocked hear my response.

"You...you said...you found her.. ", she said with fear.

"We are talking about my brother's first love..He found her...He is trying to find her from 3 years..", I said. She was shocked was a small statement. She was dumbfounded by the information. I slowly get up from her and sat on the sofa.

"Oh..", she said

"I am not searching for her", I said while looking at her maintaining the eye contact. She looked at me shocked when I utter that statement. I don't know but I want to tell her that she is my wife now..she is the queen of this house..No one had any dare to do anything to her.

"Why?", she asked in low voice.

"Because she is not the part of my life right now...You and Ayu are part of my life...I don't care about someone who will leave me..", I said while looking at her.

She smiled in relief. When I look at her, she didn't smile and just sat on the bed.

"I am going", she said and about to leave the room.

"One minute", I said.

"Sorry for everything..", I said and went off the room swiftly. I saw her being dumbfounded by me.
