EOWYN'S POV
I sat by the mirror looking at my reflection in it. All I could think about was the maid who had stolen my pendant. I recalled Kila words about what she had overheard. It seems all this was a conspiracy. I had to find my way around it. I couldn't summon my father here, that's because I had just gotten back from home.
I had to wait patiently for his command, a lot was going to change in this pack. Till then I have to protect Alpha in the best way I can. I felt Kila's hands on my scalp, “My lady, what are you thinking about?” She said bringing me out of my thoughts.
I closed my eyes, allowing her to massage my scalp. I heaved a sigh of relief, this made me feel better. “Just like my father said, I have to think about every step I'm about to take.”
