CHAPTER TWENTY-FIVE Mr Charles lay on his back. He was enjoying the quiet of the pool as he lay on the inflatable, which looked more like a floating chaise longue. He smiled with his eyes closed, thinking about the meeting and the look on Williams’s face. He had stolen from his organisation and had gotten away with it: whilst they were chasing their tails busying themselves over the lost data stick, they had missed the money transfer from the people in Berlin. They would find out about it sooner or later, but he wasn’t worried. Once Williams’s credibility had been crushed, he could blame Williams for almost anything now.
