SAM: how did we get here, it feels like yesterday we were only bothered about school and games but now this is our reality A year ago MOM: Wake up sam, you don't want to be late on your first day of college. (At crimsing college, Sam walks down the stairs when he hears a familiar voice) JACOB: Yo my man SAM:(Turns around to see who called him) hey man. JACOB: Sam your early today, let me guess mom forced you out of bed. SAM:(Laughs) I see you haven't stopped being a pain in the ass. JACOB: So man, have you seen your tourist yet? SAM: yeah, she's right here (raises his form and points his tourists name). JACOB: Haha very funny (sarcastic) wait is Evie your guide or are my eye's deceiving me? SAM: wait who's Evie. JACOB: Evie flair? (gives him a questioning look), only the hottest girl on campus. SAM: how do know about her, dude it's literally your first day here. JACOB: let's just say I know a lot of things about a lot of things. ( A girl walks up to them) EVIE: excuse me are you by any chance Sam Matthews. SAM: uhh yes I am and you are? EVIE: I'm Evie flair, and also your tour guide, So can we begin. SAM: Yes, I'll catch you later man. JACOB: Ok man you take your time. ( Evie takes Sam and the other freshmen on a tour and after a while the tour was over and all the freshmen left except for Sammy) SAM:(follows Evie). ‌ EVIE: If you can't find your way around then use your map, after all that's why you have it. SAM: I can find my way around and i know how to use a map, I'm only following you because your tour isn't over. EVIE: I took a bunch of freshmen round the campus and I showed them every building and all the places they need to know (turns around and face's him), and I'm pretty sure that's what a tour is. 342 SAM: You showed us all the building in the map except for OLD MAN root. EVIE: Well it is out of bound for a reason. SAM: Why is it out of bound. EVIE: Your a curious one aren't you, well if you really want to know, last year 3 where found dead there, and ever since it's been closed, some student say it's hunted, Some say it's toxic, and police said it was done by an animal. SAM: What about you what do you think killed them. EVIE: Well i don't know and I don't think I want to find out. SAM: Wow what a way to start your first day in college. EVIE: Well if we're done here I'll be on my way. SAM: Before you go can you please show me to my dorm, my map is kinda blurry. EVIE: You are such a pain you know that. ( Evie show Sam to his dorm, and shockingly his roommate was Jacob). SAM: yo JJ what are you doing here. JACOB: Well I pulled some strings, ask around, and now were roommates. SAM: Man that's so sick. JACOB: So how did your little date go. SAM: it wasn't a date, you know what am not doing this right know. JACOB: Doing what. SAM: You know. JACOB: Know what. SAM: OK let's just forget it. JACOB: Forget what.(immediately begins to laugh). SAM: JJ I forgot to ask how is your dad. JACOB: Well you know work this work that, and being the mayor just increases his work. SAM: Sorry man. JACOB: You know I wish things could go back to the old days, me and you and our dads going camping, fishing. SAM: yeah I miss the good old days. JACOB: We got class in the next 10 minutes, and from what he heard mister Peter is scary. SAM: Who is mister Peter. JACOB: His our english teacher. ( Jacob and Sam walks into class late). MR PETER: And why are you late for class . SAM: We got lost sir. JACOB: Yeah what he said. MR PETER: Just because your father is mayor Jacob doesn't mean you will be getting any special treatment. JACOB: Yes sir SAM:( Whispers to Jacob) your right he is scary). MR PETER: So who can tell me what david meant when he said love is eternal.( Evie stands up to answer). EVIE: David was trying to tell we the readers that love can not die you can try to hate but once you've love somebody they forever become one with you. ( Sam and Jacob giggles). MR PETER: Yes do you two have something to Say. SAM: As a matter of fact we do, first love is not eternal, if it is then nobody would get a divorce, The fact is love is overrated, everyone says it's something thats good but you know what i think, I think love is pain it's like a switch we can turn it off and on, so yes David was a fool for believing in love. EVIE: Well it's obvious that you are a fool, cause even if you're divorced your still in love with your ex. SAM: Speak for yourself. MR PETER: Well as you can see class everyone has an opinion in literature. 800 MR PETER: Class dismissed. SAM: ( angrily speaks to Jacob) man she's so annoying, talking about love like it's something special. JACOB: I know right, but why u getting worked over a girl, or is the great Sam the man who preached that love is a switch fallen in love. SAM: You know that's impossible. JACOB: Am just saying, you both are alike. SAM: I am nothing like her she believes in unicorns and love. JACOB: Ok if you say so. ( It was night time, Sam and Jacob was discussing in their room) SAM: hey man do you believe in what Evie said at class today. JACOB: about love? SAM: yeah. JACOB: Maybe, I don't know I guess i have never been in love. SAM: yeah I guess your right. ( Next morning) JACOB: good morning man. SAM: morning, what's the time. JACOB: 8pm. SAM: s**t I'm late. ( Sam was on his way to class when he saw Evie). SAM: Hey you. EVIE: Good morning, hope you had a good night sleep ( while working fast). SAM: Hey wait up, i know we see the world in different ways but can we have a fresh start. EVIE: Ok. ( they both walk to class together, and shortly later class was dismissed, Sam was walking when he heard Jacob yelling his name and he stopped and turned around). JACOB: Hey , where have you been man. SAM: I was in a class, what up. JACOB: I'll tell you what's up, they where four dead bodies found today on campus. SAM: wait where? JACOB: Here man. SAM: was the killer Identified. JACOB: No not yet. SAM: Well what can I say, just another day in crimson. JACOB: So there's this new boy I meet. SAM: tell me everything about him. JACOB: first his name is Kelvin, tall, dark, plays basketball and he is also gay. SAM: He seems like a perfect fit for you. JACOB: I know right. SAM: So have you talk to him. JACOB: No but we did give eye contact in the hallway. SAM: We are looking for your romeo now and your taking his number. ( Sam and Jacob looks for Kelvin) JACOB: Oh my god there he is. SAM: Where? JACOB: right next to Diane. SAM: Who's Diane? JACOB: only his sister, they are right next to the poster. SAM: Oh i see, wow he is hot. JACOB: I know right. SAM: You said that's his sister right? JACOB:Yes. SAM: She is pretty. JACOB: wow don't do that. SAM: Do what. JACOB: I thought you said you liked Evie. SAM: No I never said that. JACOB: Yes you did. SAM: When. JACOB: Yesterday, before you went to bed. SAM: No I did not. JACOB: Ok anything you say. SAM: What are you still doing here , walk up to him and ask for number. (Jacob walks up to Kelvin). JACOB: Hey Kelvin. KELVIN: Oh hey uhh do I know you? JACOB: Am Jacob, where in the same English Class. KEVIN: uhh ok so what's up? JACOB: Am ok, so I was wondering if I could get Number so we could discuss more about english, from what I heard you were one of the best English student in your highschool and I suck at it so. KELVIN: (cut's in before Jacob could finish) Right, ok here's my number.( Takes Jacobs phone and types his number) ( Jacob walk back to Sam with a smile on his face ) SAM: So did you do it. JACOB: Of course i did. SAM: And what did he say, did he give you the number. JACOB: off course he did, no one can resist this beauty. 1298 +39 SAM: yes sir. JACOB: So what about you. SAM: what about me.(gives him a questioning look) JACOB:The Evie and Diane thingy SAM: seriously dude JACOB: Come on, sooner or later your gonna have to pick one.(gives him an eye turn around) behind you. SAM:(Turns around only to see Evie walking towards them in haste) EVIE: Hey guys,um Jacob would it be okay if I borrow Sam from you for a while? JACOB:Not at all , you both do your thing (turns to Sam) catch you later bro (they do a hand shake before and then he leaves) SAM:(turns to To Evie) What do you need me for! EVIE:Just walk(she grabs his hand and they begin to walk when a bunch of students walks over to her and starts to ask questions) GIRL1: What do you know about the mysterious killings in crimson? EVIE: Nothing and if you want to get information on the killings then you should go directly to the board. BOY1:We already tried that but we weren't able to get any information,we were hoping that as the student council President you might have some Intel. EVIE: Well I don't ( she continues to walk with Sam) BOY 2: Well if you don't have Intel on that, there other questions we have EVIE: Well I can't answer those questions now, as you can see I'm busy (points at Sam). and I can't ignore him to attend to you so I'll appreciate it if you can give us some space 1570 BOY2: Everyone please move away, miss flair is busy right now . (Evie and Sam walks outside and then Evie stops walking ) SAM:(stops walking as well) So why did you bring me here EVIE: Oh I actually needed you to get away from them. SAM: Wow so am being used. EVIE: Yes you are. SAM: (giggles) So what's up? EVIE:You know the usual. SAM: Hey about the killings, who do you think did it. EVIE: I have no idea, but there's something suspicious about the killings. SAM: What do you mean? EVIE: I mean the killings happens every time it's a new year, and it only happens to freshmen. SAM: Oh should I be scared. EVIE: You should, you might be standing right next to killer. SAM: ( laughs softly) I trust you. EVIE: Ok if you say so, so where are you heading to. SAM: My dorm. EVIE: Ok I'll catch you later. EVIE: bye. (They both walked away from eachother smiling,then Sam went to his dorm). JACOB: Yo my boy who got smiling like that. SAM: No I wasn't smiling. JACOB: Ok Man anything you say, so what did you love bird talk about. SAM: You know just the usual. JACOB: No i don't know. SAM: She was just telling about the killings. JACOB: What about the killing? SAM: She said that the killings only happens to freshmen. JACOB: Wow that's not disturbing at all. (Sarcastically speaking). SAM: So have you called lover boy. JACOB: His name is Kelvin. SAM: Yeah Kelvin you called him yet. JACOB: Of course not what if he doesn't like me. SAM: What do you mean who doesn't like you your unhatetable. JACOB: you do know that's not a word right? SAM: Man how long have we been friends? JACOB: 15 years now. SAM: Then trust me when I say he'll love you. JACOB: Ok but if he hates me you'll owe me a a burger from McDonald's. SAM: deal. (Jacob picks up his phone and calls Kelvin). JACOB: Hey is this Kelvin. KELVIN: Yes please who is this. JACOB: It's me Jacob, you gave me your number. KELVIN: Oh hey man what up. JACOB: You know just chilling, so I was wondering if you wanted to hangout. KELVIN: Yeah sure. JACOB: How about by 7pm. KELVIN: Great bye. SAM: What did I tell you ( he says in a loud voice). JACOB: Your a good friend you know that right. SAM: Oh well I try. JACOB: What about Evie. SAM: What about her. JACOB: Come on man don't play dumb with me, i know you like her. SAM: Yeah i do but what if she doesn't like me back. JACOB: Then we will go McDonald and get a burger. SAM: Fair enough. (Sam calls Evie) SAM: Hey Evie. EVIE: Hey what up, why you calling me. SAM:Uh I was wondering if you want to go grab a burger or something. EVIE: Uh are you asking me on a date? SAM: Maybe i am. EVIE: Am sorry but i have a boyfriend. SAM: Oh my bad i did not now ok bye. JACOB: What did she say. SAM: She has a boyfriend. JACOB: Ohh that hurts, well to McDonald's we go. SAM: Yes please. (Sam and Jacob went to McDonald's to get a burger, and Jacob see's Evie eating with her boyfriend ). JACOB: Sam don't look back. SAM: Why? ( Sam look's back and immediately made eye contact with Evie) JACOB: Wow talk about bad timing. SAM: Come on man let go get a burger to go. (They got burger and left McDonald's) (Sam in his dorm talking to Jacob) SAM: I cannot believe she has a boyfriend (Speaks angrily). JACOB: Well she did tell you. SAM: I know but then again I thought it was just an excuse, cause she didn't want to on a date with me. JACOB: I am so sorry honey, but I got a date in about 5 so I have to go when I come back we'll talk alright. SAM: Alright go have fun with lover boy. JACOB: You know I will bye. (Jacob goes on his date) (an hour later and Sam phone rings and it was Evie calling). SAM: Hey you. EVIE: Hey what you doing now. SAM: Am kind of busy now I'll call you back later. EVIE: Why you acting weird. SAM: I don't know you tell me? EVIE: Is it because of what happened at McDonald's. SAM: What happened. EVIE: Am sorry I didn't tell am in relationship,but to be fair you didn't ask. SAM: No problem, am busy now call you back later (as he hang up). ( NEXT MORNING) SAM: Hey Jacob when did you get back. JACOB: Just now, I spent the night in Kelvin dorm. SAM:Wow already. JACOB: Man we didn't do anything to bad. SAM: Ok am not judging. (Sam and Jacob went to class). (Evie and her boyfriend Blake were having an argument when Sam and Jacob walk by). EVIE: It's over BLAKE: Why? EVIE: What do you why, I cause you kissing chealsea and your asking why. BLAKE: And I said sorry. EVIE: You know sorry can't fix everything. ( Blake begins to hold Evie tight). SAM: Hey man, you know that's not the right way to talk to a girl. BLAKE: Do we know, cause this is clearly not any of your business boy. SAM: You know what it's actually my business. BLAKE: Evie do you know this b***h. SAM: Wow you did not just call me a b***h. BLAKE: Yes I did. SAM: Well coming from you I'll take that as a complement. (Blake punches Sam and they began to fight then Jacob joins the fight to help his friend). (Mr Peter was passing by when he saw a crowd of students) MR PETER: And what is happening here. BOY3: so e student are fighting. MR PETER: (immediately rushes to stop the fight) And what is happening here. SAM: He started it. MR PETER: All of you detention now! ( They all went to detention including Evie) MR PETER : So you six are here because of bad behaviour, and you will not speak or use any form of communication to to talk with each other and you will a thousand word apologizing to your school saying you are changed and will not behave in this manner again, and if I come back and one of you is not you all will have 2week detention. (Mr Peter walks out of the class) SAM: So I have to write a thousand word essay just because some i***t punched me. BLAKE: Call me an i***t and I'll punch you again. EVIE: Please the both of you have already gotten us into enough trouble. JACOB: And I promised Kelvin that I'll come see his game today. BLAKE: So i know why the four of us are here what about you two. ( The remaining two in detention were Diana Kelvin sister and lisa). BLAKE: So Diane what got you into detention. DIANE: I'll rather not say. BLAKE: ok what about you Lisa. LISA: Slapped your girlfriend Evie, so Ms perfect Evie why are you in detention. EVIE: None of your business. LISA: Ok anything you say your highness. (They immediately heard a loud noise outside). (So they went to go look out the window except for blake he went to go get some water). SAM: TF is that. EVIE: That's the crimson lion victory chant. LISA: It doesn't happen often, I mean the football team hasn't won a game in like two years now. DIANE:Yeah the football team her is not good. JACOB:And I stood up for this come on Sam let's go sit down. (Immediately Jacob turns back he saw Blake on the floor). JACOB: Hey guy Blake's on the floor. EVIE: Jerk get up, your not fooling anyone, Blake. (Sam goes to tap him and finds out he isn't breathing). SAM: hey guys he's not breathing. EVIE : Blake (as she runs to his body) somebody call 911. JACOB:( Calls 911) hey 911 my friends is not breathing. 911: where. JACOB: In crimson college ( as he speaks sounding scared). 911: Don't worry we'll be as fast as we can ok. EVIE: ( screaming loudly ) Help somebody help. (and within seconds teacher stormed the place) ( 911 arrived but it was to late he was already dead). (SAM, JACOB, EVIE ,DIANE AND LISA being interrogated). DETECTIVE KARL: Hi am detective Karl and I want you to tell me everything that happened. (After telling her everything that had happend). DETECTIVE KARL:Are you sure that's all that happened. SAM:Yes ma'am DETECTIVE KARL: I don't you all know what you got your self's into where looking at first decree murder and that's life imprisonment, so think well are you that's all you know. JACOB: Of course that's all we know,why will we hide anything. DETECTIVE KARL: We had the water he drank tested and there was poison in it, So it's either one of you is lying and is the killer or you are all the killers. SAM: ( It was at this day and time that our lives were forever changed).
