‘Rose, I need you to—’
The faint cry echoed through my head before cutting off abruptly.
‘Lachlan.’ I spun in the air, searching for him.
Belinda gasped. ‘I heard him too,’ she said. ‘He’s in trouble.’
‘I have to go back. I have to help him,’ I said. Lachlan’s voice had been filled with pain. They had to be torturing him again.
‘I’ll come with you,’ said Tyler, moving over to sit on the couch.
‘Tyler, are you sure about this?’ Detective Lockwood moved to her side and placed a hand on her shoulder, concern brimming in his eyes.
‘From what Rose has told us, BioTech don’t know about astral projection. I can infiltrate the facility and see what’s happening while she helps this Lachlan. We need to find something we can use to get them shut down. The government can’t know they
