It all felt like I couldn't dream about what I want anymore when the dream I so much wanted came crumbling down before me, the second dream I held onto that might give me so sort of comfort and happy was snatched away by Mrs Brownseed who wanted me even when her son doesn't regard me.

I wasn't special or so I thought and never could fathom why she wanted me badly for her son. I was supposed to find happiness and joy for rejected mates like me but I couldn't do my job for myself.

I was forced into unhappiness and the end seem farfetched. There was no one to rely on, it seem the holy goddess had forsaken me and left me to deal with my issues by myself.

I took the reins of my life when the inevitable happened but there was an obstacle to this dream from actualizing itself as always

Chapter 1
1 I stood in deep pain as I saw him kiss the girl. I could feel my wolf in turmoil as we both groaned inwardly. I was pissed, betrayed, and on the verge of crying out and yelling at him for being a wretched fellow. “Are you okay?” I heard Bridgette say, as she laid her hand on my shoulder as she made me face her. "I'm fine," I mouthed, loud enough for her to hear, trying to keep my emotions to myself. "Are you sure? You don't look okay to me," she said, searching my face. "I am! I won't lie to you!" I snapped unintentionally. "Oh! Okay!" She said, sounding hurt. We both stood side by side looking as people walked into the hall. "I'm sorry," I whispered as I elbowed her by the side. I shouldn't transfer my aggression onto her. "It's okay! Let's just go inside," she said. I turned to look at the garden and he was gone. I need to find him quickly to explain the situation to him. The hall was lavishly decorated, which showed how affluent the Sandy Moon Pack were. I looked around, everyone was busy chatting with one another, grabbing glasses of champagne from left and right. Now was the perfect time before the event started. "I need to quickly get to the corner, I'm pressed," I said quickly to Bridgette before dashing off before she could say a word. "What?" I heard her say behind me. I went through the door that the servers used and tried to find my way around. "Stupid dress!" I mouthed as the ball gown kept getting onto my feet. "Please, where can I get the Alpha prince?" I asked one server on the way. "I think I saw him in the sitting lounge," she quickly said before walking off. I could even ask if the lady I saw earlier was still with him. I walked further down the lobby before his scent engulfed me. I gently followed the scent. Lo and behold, there he was, seated on a couch like a prince that he was. I slowed my breath and adjusted my gown before walking up to him. "Hi!" I called, "Adams!" I added his name. "Yeah! May I help you?" He asked, looking at me like I was distracting him. "I am Leia Meyers," I said slowly, smiling excitedly. "So? I said, what could I help you with? I never asked for your name!" He said angrily. I debated whether I should just tell him or wait for him to realize it himself, but some werewolves don't get it immediately and take years. "Don't you get it? Haven't you realized it?" I said instead. "Get what? What am I supposed to realize? If you don't have anything meaningful to say, then get the hell out of my sight!" He yelled, looking at me like I was crazy. "I am your mate! We are mates!" I said excitedly. It was out before I realized it. 'Couldn't you have calmed yourself down?' I asked my wolf. 'Not enough! He needs to know,' she said excitedly. I think she is more excited than I am. "Mate? You?" He said, which brought me back to the present. His face holds the most disgusting look I have ever seen. He looked at me from my face to my feet, then back up before it started on my face for a while. He hissed loudly before getting up from his seat. "I don't know who let you into this house or pack, but you are definitely insane. I have a beautiful mate already, and I don't need someone like you in my life. I will act like this never happened and I would advise you to do that," he said before he gave me a dirty look and then walked away. "Are you rejecting me?" I asked with a heavy heart. My wolf was silent now. He stopped for a while without saying anything before turning to face me. "Yeah, I have and I am. I did that a long time ago," he said to me. "So you know? You knew about me!" I said, trying my best not to tear up in front of him. "That's not the right question to say or the right statement, but whatever. So you know me you don't exist, you never did and you never will," he said before he started walking again. "Hey, baby, I have been looking for you. The ceremony is about to start," I heard a female voice say. My eyes were becoming cloudy. "Who is she?" She added, I knew she was talking about me. "Oh, she's one of the waitresses who was employed for today's event. Maybe she lost her way," he said with a smirk. He turned to look at me then mouthed, "my beautiful mate!" "Waitress? Her ball gown looks too expensive for a waitress," she said. "Oh that? She is the princess waitress," he said as he walked to her. "Princess waitress? What's that?" She questioned. "I also don't know, but I guess it's a fancy word for a loser. Let's go, baby!" He said before grabbing her hand and leading her out, but not without a little wave at me. He was taunting me! I screamed internally before collapsing to the ground. Not only did he reject me, but he also insulted me. I was so embarrassed, ashamed and pained. It felt like my heart was being squeezed with metal hands. I groaned as the tears fell freely. I don't know how long I have been on the ground or how long I left Bridgette had, but I didn't mind and wouldn't care if I hadn't noticed. One thing I knew was I needed to be out of the building before the event ended, but as always, there is always someone to mess up your plans. "Oh my goodness! What are you doing on the ground? I have been looking for you for the past ten minutes!" I heard Bridgette scream but I cared less. "Your parents are worried! What is wrong, Leia?" She asked as she lifted me up. After much persuasion from her and conviction, I decided to follow her b back to the event. "I will introduce to you all my mate, Rose Dylan!" I heard him say.
