Finding Home

"Amy, Jack breakfast" Mom yelled from downstairs. I heard Jack yell YAY, while I just continued getting dressed. After I got dressed I opened my door and the smell of bacon hits my nose. As I head down the hall Jack, my twin brother, comes out of nowhere and pushes me so I fall to the ground. Jack turns his head and laughs at me "I'm going to kill you!!" I say running after him. Jack takes off running with after him. He runs into the kitchen with mom "Mom help Amy is trying to kill me!!"Jack says to mom. "You two stop fighting" a loud commanding voice calls out making, Jack and I instantly stop and turn our heads towards the voice. My eyes light up when I see who it is "DADDY YOUR HOME" I yell as I run up to him and jump into his arms. "Hey princess I missed you so much" my dad says, then when he puts me down he gives J ack a tight hug. Then another voices comes from the doorway "Good morning Alpha, good morning Luna". In case you didn't know my dad is the Alpha and my mom is the Luna and me and Jack are twins but since he was born first by 30 seconds he is the future alpha. I turn and see who it is and it is Dave my dad's beta, "Good morning Dave" Jack and I say at the same time. Jack and I walk around the table and sit down and wait for our breakfast "Good morning Amy good morning Jack" Dave said walking up to the table and sitting down. My mom comes over and places a plate in from of my on it it has a scramble eggs, grits, a biscuit, and bacon after placing my plate down my mom places Jack's plate then my dad's and then Dave's. It was 9:30 so all the other pack member had ate already "So Jack, Amy are you excited about your birthdays tomorrow you will have your first shift" Dave asked Jack and I. In the wolf world when you turn 10 you have your first shift into your wolf. "Oh yes I can't wait to have my shift" Jack and I say, I thought to myself would my first shift hurt like I have overheard some older kids talking about. So I decide to ask my daddy "Daddy when you have your first shift does it hurt like I heard some of the older kids say" my dad looks at my mom and then back at Jack and I, Jack and I having a look of slight worry on our faces. "Yes it will hurt but not that much"  Daddy said looking at us "promise daddy" is what I say and he looks at me for a minute with care "I promise princess" Then all the worry in my eyes disappears like it was never there and I look back at my dad and smile and started eating. After breakfast mom is taking Jack and I shopping for a new outfit and party stuff for our party tomorrow I'm always up for shopping so mom only had to say it once, Jack on the other hand had to be forced to come even though he rather just sit around the house or help daddy with his work. But for me, I rather help out with anything I can; cooking, helping decorating for parties, etc. When we finally got to the mall me, Jack, mom, and our Aunt Carrie start walking around the mall looking for the perfect store to get Jack's outfit from and when mom finally decides to go in one we start the search. When we walk into the store I let out a soft laugh "And what are you laughing at" Aunt Carrie asks looking over at me" I was just laughing at the look on Jack's face because he is worried that mom will make him where something completely adorable" I said Jack shoots me a glare but I just ignore it and help mom look through the clothes. Mom picks up a fancy shirt and some dress pants Jack quickly shook his head no and continued to search. Then I find some black ripped pants and a nice shirt and showed it to Jack, he liked it. Mom went and payed and we went into my favorite store there I found the prettiest black and pink dress and mom pays and we walk out the mall. When we get home it is 6:30 pm so mom, aunt Carrie and I go and start dinner while Jack goes and watches tv until dinner. I like helping mom cook cause I love cooking and she teaches me how to cook all types of things I have been helping mom cook every night since I was about 5 years old. When we are almost finished cooking mom asked Jack and I to help set the table so Jack and I did. then called everyone to dinner in about 20-30 minutes everyone is eating. After dinner I say good night to everyone and give my mom and dad a kiss goodnight and go to my room for a good night's sleep when I get to my room I change into my pjs, brush my teeth and hop into bed. And I drift off to sleep.
