Jayce's POV
85 days to go
I took Alyssa home to the castle.
I carried her the whole way in, making sure that she did not have to move a single muscle once we were back within the castle walls. She was my Princess, my Queen. This never should have happened, she shouldn't have been taken and she shouldn't have had to kill somebody. I had to make sure that it wouldn't happen again.
I set her down in the bathroom on her wobbly feet, steadying her before turning on the shower. I made sure that the water was hot before attempting to leave.
"Stay," she said timidly, her hand grabbed out for mine. Sighing, I looked at her and closed the door, allowing her to pull me close to her. Holding Alyssa in my arms like this, it made me realise how attached to her I was becoming.
