Alyssa's POV
Bright light assaulted my eyes as the hood was ripped off of my head. My eyes began blinking rapidly trying to adjust to the bright light. It was blinding me, making my eyes burn. I tried to peer around the light source, try to find someone or something. Instead, I cast my gaze down, feeling relief from the burning light.
While keeping my head down, I tried to find a way out.
Looking around, I could see I was in a dilapidated warehouse, it was falling apart at the seams. The roof was caving in over in the corner, there were holes in the walls and chains hanging from beams. There were pallets stacked in another corner and a sun light on the roof above. If I could get my captor to look away, then perhaps I could try and make an escape.
"Why did you bring her here?" A gruf
