I was so comfortable laying next to Aldric and all of a sudden my peace was disturbed. Someone was pounding on the door causing Aldric, Talia, and I to sit up.
"Whoever is at the door better have a good excuse for waking me up," Talia said as she got out of the bed. Aldric quickly jumped out of the bed and followed her to the door. "I have this wolf."
As Talia opened the door there stood a smiling Kyle. "Good morning guardian, princess, and wolf. You have thirty minutes to get ready and meet us at the diner."
"It is six in the morning Kyle and too early for this," I said.
"Well ladies we have a long drive ahead of us and I would like to hurry up and get through this forest before bedtime. " He said.
