Chapter 12. - Him

The next morning when I woke up I felt something familiar in the air, I didn’t know what exactly was it but I knew I felt that before. I got up and went under the shower. When I came back to room I saw that Kali was gone. That’s weird but ok, I know her only for a few days so who knows what’s she up to.. Ever was still sleeping though. I opened the closet and put on dark orange medium short sleeve dress, after all its summer. I woke up Ever and waited for her to get dress and we went to get some food. We took our trays with coffee and cake in my case and saw Kali already sitting at the table.

“You got up early”- I sat next to her-“where did you go?”

“I got some family things so..”- She said biting an apple-“How did you two sleep?”

“Like a baby”- Ever smiled-

“Yea what she says”- I smiled and took a sip of coffee-“Kali is everything ok?”

“Yea, it’s nothing Aide, I just had to check in”

“Ok, so what are we doing today?”

“Today”- Evers eyes got shiny- “today is ..”

“Hush”- Kali put finger on her lips- “I will tell her”

“What is it?”- I took a bit of cake-

“Well today is Friday”

“That means?”

“Party”- She whispered-

“yeah”- I nodded- “the secret one”

“Oh cut us some slack”- Kali added- “It will be awesome”

“What will?”- Dorian asked sitting next to Kali-

“You know what”- Damian came carrying a glass of wine-

“Are we even allowed to drink?”- I asked looking at him-

“Kind of”- Finn said sitting next to me- “The normal drinks can’t get us drunk fast so there is no harm at using them”

“But our drinks…” – Dorian winked at me-“you will see everything tonight”

“You are so nuts”- I laughed-

“Just like you”- Finn smiled- “I can’t believe you jumped”

“Yeah talking about the spunk” – Damian added- “you got it newbie”

“I think you’re making her uncomfortable”- Ever said looking at me-

“No, not at all”- I laughed- “who doesn’t love a little attention”

“That’s my girl”- Kali smiled looking at me-

We all ate our breakfast and went to the yard, boys started competing on the question who has bigger wings and Kali was the judge while Ever and I sat on the grass absorbing the sun. Suddenly I got that feeling again. I turned around and noticed big red wings, and the next thing I saw shocked me. Behind the wings there was a guy with black hair, he was turned around and I only saw his back but I knew that back good enough. How can this be? He was on earth, I saw him on earth, unless he was playing one of his trick on me. It was him, it had to be him. I got up and walked fast to him. He turned around and looked at me.

“What the hell are you doing here?”- I looked at him with raging look-

“The hell ..”- He laughed- “What do you want angel?”- He answered arrogantly-

“Are you kidding me right now?!”- The rage was building up inside me-

Kali found herself next to me.

“We better move Aide”

“No Kali, I asked him something”- I said ragging ready to punch him so hard-

“I don’t talk to angels”- He smirked and went away-

Kali pulled my hand and walked me away from the crowed, Ever, Dorian, Damian and Finn showed up after us. I feel down to the grass, how is this even possible, he had wings, red wings that means he is demon, how can Ed be a demon? A thousand questions passed my mind but Kali interrupted them.

“What were you doing Aide? “- She sat next to me-

“How do you know Lucifer?”- Dorian looked at me shocked-

“Lucifer?”- I ask bluntly-

“Yea the guy you just almost attacked is no less than Lucifer himself”- Damien added-

“What?”- I looked at them- “Lucifer like the ruler of Hell?”

“No “- Ever sat next to Kali- “Lucifers father is the ruler of Hell”

“I am just wondering how didn’t he attacked you back because he does that”- Dorian stopped talking and looked at Kali- “a lot”

Did I get it wrong? Did I finally lost my mind ? Could it be possible that was not Ed?

“I ..”- My mind was racing –

No, I felt his presence I couldn’t get that wrong, or could I?

“I don’t know”-I starched on the grass- “I thought I saw someone I knew but that’s impossible, he is back on earth, I think I’m losing it you guys”

“Its fine”- Kali laid down next to me-

“You got him confused, no biggies newbie”- Damian sat next to us-“except that one you just confused seems to be the next ruler of hell”

“He will not forget this”- Dorian added- “dang”

“Never mind”- Ever added- “He will not dare to touch you, you have us, don’t worry”- she hugged me-

“o.O you’re sweet”

The guys sat all around me and we stayed on the sun for a while. Afterwards we went for a lunch, where everyone looked at me like I have horns on my head. I just took the lunch and we went outside and had the lunch sitting on the grass. When my nerves calmed down a bit I told them I want to go for a walk, alone and they let me. I got up and went behind the architecture into one of the big gardens. There was a fountain near so I sat next to it and closed my eyes letting my thoughts flow.

“You just couldn’t have enough of me on earth so you came here?”- I heard his voice behind me-

I am just imaging it, Ed is not here, I kept repeating to myself not opening my eyes. I think I will need to talk with someone about my condition if this continues. I opened my eyes and found myself looking at him. It was really him, the eyes, the hair, everything was the same, he just had two red wings, the color of his wings, and the intensity of it was blood like.

“Who are you demon,Lucifer or Ed?”- I asked moving away-

“Well I am Lucifer”- He smirked- “but you used to know me as Ed”

Shocked took over me. It’s really him. I used to kiss Lucifer himself. I moved a few steps behind.

“Now now”- He smiled- “don’t be scared, it’s so not like you Aide”

“Scared?”- I laughed- “of who, you?”

I saw his expression changed and his eyes shined a bit red. He grabbed my arm.

“Well after all I am the devil”

“Your father is the devil”- I pushed him away- “you are a demon”

“Look who informed herself, nice job”- He laughed-

“Did you know?”- I looked at him- “Did you know who am I?”

“From the very start”- He smirked again- “why do you think they moved you here?”- He grabbed my hand again- “I had a talk with your mother that day, or should I say fake mother”

I looked at him shocked, how much does he know? I kept silence, does he know that I am..

“Don’t worry about your little charade here, I will not say a word hybrid but only because it benefits me”

I pushed him and just walked away.

“Will be seeing you soon hybrid”- He raised his voice-

I ran to the dorm, when I was finally inside I leaned against the wall. Is this for real? How does he know? Why is he even doing this? I tried to calm down but I couldn’t. So the one guy I really liked turns out the be the next devil, the guy who I was kissing, making out with, o my … I put hand on my mouth, I almost slept with him, if Celeste didn’t show up I would. What the hell is wrong with me? I walked over to the room and found the girls getting ready for the party.

“Aide”- Kali looked at me- “what’s wrong?”

“Nothing”- I waved my hand- “everything is perfectly fine, I just.. do we have anything to drink?”

“I got some but it’s not for you, you are not used to our kind of drinks”

“No, no”- I waved hand- “I will be fine, I’m a big girl, I really could use some”

“Fine”- Kali opened the mini fridge and took the bottle out.- “but don’t say I didn’t warn you and don’t get caught drinking”

“Sure”- I took a glass and poured some-

“I don’t think that’s a good idea”- Ever looked at me-“Please don’t do it”

“Don’t worry”- I drank it- “are you kidding me?”- I looked at them both- “this is nothing”

“You sure?”- She took out a leather dress-

“Yea”- I pour some more-

“Then drink and come get ready”- she raised eyebrows-

“Fine let me just have a moment”

They continued getting ready while I drank one or two more glasses. I laid on the bed thinking about what should I do now. Should I call Azazel and tell him about Lucifer? Or maybe Celeste and Tamiel? I thought about it and decided that I can take this by myself I don’t need them. I don’t want to see any of them, not after I found out they ripped my wings off. I got up and walked over to the closet. I started to look through my closet until I found the perfect dress. It was a short blood red dress who had no sleeves and was spreading towards the bottom part. I put on some make up and curled up my hear a bit. I turned around to see the girls ready too. Kali was wearing leather black dress while Ever was wearing a while one.

“Awesome”- Kali smiled- “I love our look”

I laughed.

We slowly went out and Kali looked at me.

“I suppose you can’t fly”

I nodded. She took her necklace off and took a pendant, which was actually a ring she put it on and looked at us.

“Give me your hands”

I did as she asked and so did Ever. Suddenly the portal appeared in front of us and we walked through it. We found ourselves in the middle of the woods.

“Where are we?”- I asked-

“Not far from school”- Ever said- “Usually we fly here but because you can’t”

I nodded. I really need to learn to fly, note for the future. Kali took her ring off and put it on the necklace.

“What was that?”- I asked-

“It sort of a talisman so nobody knows we used power”- She answered- “so professors or head masters don’t find out about this”

“O yea secretive party”- I laughed-

We walked over to some building that looked abandoned, and it actually was. Well until we went inside where we find bunch of angels and demons dancing, drinking and making out.

“Wait”- I narrowed my eyes- “Is that angel and demon.. making out?”

“Hell yea”- Kali laughed- “The mean thing here is not to get caught, everything else is allowed”

“O. o now I get it”- I laughed-

Ever looked at us.

“Go”- Kali nodded to her.-

She hugged her and went away.

“Where is she going now?”

“To Damian”- she smiled- “They been on and off for months now”

“I didn’t even realise that”

“Well you’ve been here only for few days”- she spin me around- “drinks?”

“Yeah”

We went and got ourselves drinks and sat on one of the couches.

“So where is your date?”- I asked-

“There is none”- She smiled and drink a bit- “Well sometimes I sleep with Finn or Dorian but we are not a thing. It’s casual”

“I see”- I nodded-

“How about you? Did you had someone special in your life before this?”

“I thought I did … “- I drank half of my drink- “but he turned to be an ass so”

“Who did?”- I heard his voice behind us-

“Lucifer”- Kali looked at him-

He came and sat in between us. I tried to get up but he pulled me back.

“Kali, you should go to Dorian or whoever it is there days”- Lucifer said looking at her-

She punched him but went away anyway.

“Finally alone”- he smirked-

“Yeah you can be right after I leave”- I got up but he grabbed my waist and pulled me down- “why in such a hurry?”

“Let me go”

“Or what? You will scream? We already tried it on earth it didn’t work”

“What do you want?”- I asked mad-

“Well for starters.. How about we repeat the birthday “

“In your dreams asshole”- I slapped him-

“Not sure an angel is supposed to act like that but then again you are only half, aren’t you?”- He grabbed my arm-

“Would you leave me alone at once?”

“Not sure I can do it”- he got up and pulled me with him-“Lets go for a walk will we?”

“I’m not going anywhere with you”- I tried to get free but he was holding me so tight-

“There are two ways this can go, you go with me or I pull you out on my back in front of everyone, imagine the talk tomorrow”

I looked at him pissed.

“I will take that as a first option”- he started going out pulling me with him- “you just got to admire that hell fire in you”

“I don’t have a hell fire”

“Yes you do, all the demons have”- he pulled me into the woods-

“Where are we going?”

“There is someone who wants to meet you”

“And who would that be?”- I asked arrogantly-

“Well your mother of course”
