Chapter 9
It was hard to sit still and not jump about when they came into the room.
‘Hi, Belinda, I’m Ethan.’
I heard his greeting both with my ears and my head, and got the sense he was nervous. His next words confirmed it.
‘I wish I could tell you I’m an expert at this, but so far I have only healed two people. I’m not exactly sure how it all works, but if you’re willing to let me try I will see what I can do.’
I gave a quick nod, not trusting my voice.
I stilled as his hands touched my temples. Eyes closed, I waited for something, a sign he was healing me. But other than feeling warm where he was touching me, I felt nothing.
‘Here, let me see.’
