The house was empty when I came in to see it. Dad had not yet been back since the last time he told me he was going out.
At first, I didn’t believe him, I thought it was another excuse of his, just to go drinking, so I sent one of my men to follow him. He did and told me that indeed Dad wasn’t drinking anymore. I wanted to make sure he wasn’t compromised, so I sent another of my men to ensure that he was telling the truth, and he told me he was. I was happy that Dad made that decision.
