Proof Of Love
An alarm suddenly starts beeping from one of the machines and I gasp.. holding his hands and calling out for the attendants.. Shortly a team of nurses and the physician troop in and asking me to step away from the patient. Unable to keep my calm, I run towards the door tearing up and putting my hands over my mouth as they rally round him plunging the machines and observing him closely. Mabel runs in too panicking too; stunned to see her son struggle to breathe and being surrounded by his team of experts.. my heart sinks and I continue weeping uncontrollably with Mabel holding and trying to soothe me.. Not able to watch him struggle any further plus the Nurses asking us to step out for a moment.. I run out of the ICU and into my ward, slumping unto the floor... crying with all my heart and
