Emery’s POV
Although Eli was still scared of the water he was trying his best.
I was at the head of the kaya, leading us through the water with the oar. To me, the water was not that rough so the journey so far was easy but I'm not sure how a beginner would fare.
The kayak suddenly hit the side of the rock that protruding out of the water as the part of the river we were on was quite shallow.
“Woah!” I heard Eli exclaim.
He must have not been having a good time.
“Should we take a break?”
He didn’t respond so I took things into my own hands and swerved towards the river bank. As soon as I felt that we were settled on enough of the bank I got out.
“I didn’t know people could actually turn green when they are sick.” I said trying to help Eli out of the boat.
