Cole's POV

I made sure I picked the right pack Rachel was in. I called Mercury, and right away, he knew who I was. He said I had to talk to Isaiah, so he put me on speakerphone. I told him about the dreams and who was in those dreams. She finally told me her name and the family she belonged to. "Man, you have no idea how bad she looks; Cord really did a number on her.

"Just send her here. I know all about your family; if what happened could break her, I can bring her back to the way she was."

"Well, man, she’s not in this pack anymore. She left with her sister and her mate once the pack was built. I’ll talk to Bear and see what he can do."

So there you go. They talked to the alpha, and now she is on her way here. At first, she will be doing business with the beta. Once that business is done, he will take her around the pack grounds for a tour. Then they will go into the territory to look at the electric fence; there will be no holes because we put that up, so rogues were unable to get through. I knew this was a bad idea and that she might kick my ass, but I had to do this. I needed my mate. I knew a guy named Mohawk was coming; he was like a brother to her. But it doesn't mean my wolf still won’t growl at him. I need her to know I'm not a ghost; I'm real, and I want her as mine. She needs to know that I won't leave her for anyone else, and that’s a fact. She will be here within the hour, so I made sure the cooks would prepare something good. I wasn't sure what it was, but it was enough for my beta, Rachel, and Mohawk. That's a weird name for someone, but I'm not about to judge. Maybe there is a reason for that, only his parents knew about it. After talking to the cooks, I made sure there were two rooms made up: one room beside my room, that is the Luna's suite. She will be beside my room, and Mohawk will be right down the hall. That way, if she needs him, he will be there. But I am hoping she would call me instead of him. Goddess, I really hope this works. "Hey, Alpha Bear, this is Alpha Cole. Everything is set. I hope this works."

"Man, I do too. Her sister is on edge about this; she's worried about Rachel. She hasn't eaten, and she hardly sleeps. I can only wish you luck on this, man. Just make sure you are good to her because if I hear you messed up, my uncle isn't the only one I am going to challenge to kick ass." We talked for a few more minutes, then hung up. It's already been thirty minutes, and I was pacing back and forth in my office. John walked into the room, watching me walk back and forth.

Man, if you don't stop, you're going to wear a hole in that carpet. I'm about to head out to go get them. Are you sure you want to do this? You need to remember not all women are like your ex, okay? This girl has gone through a lot, so make sure you don't screw up and hurt her. I sighed, then lit up a cigar, sitting back in my chair.

"Yeah, I want to do this. Our dreams are just not enough anymore. I can't even touch her in the dreams. She is my second chance, mate. I can't let the past affect me like this; she's long gone now, and Rachel is right here."

"Alright then, let's do this. I will treat her with much respect; she is our pack's Luna. Do you realize we are going to be a part of the strongest mafia family? We're going to need to move closer to her family. You need to go ahead and check to see what kind of land and then start on it. It's going to take months to get it done and have the workers start on it."

"Aren't I the alpha? I think I'm supposed to tell you to do all of that," he laughed and said.

"I think that's the reason why we are best friends, man. When I get to the airport, I'll check out the land and then buy it. Then I'll call the builders to start building. I'm going to miss this place; we've been here for over five hundred years, and we both have seen so much."

"Don't worry about looking; I'll look. You will be too busy trying to find them at the airport. Get going before they land; I want them here asap." When John left, I got on the computer, looking around for the land we needed. I found the perfect land, bought it, and then called the workers and the plumbers. I told them what I wanted; it had to look just like this.

Yes, sir, right away. The phone got hung up. This will be close to Bear's pack and Isiaha’s. That way, she can see her family whenever she wants to. I’m not going to keep her from doing that. Alright, I pulled out the blueprints on a library I wanted done in the pack house. I took photos of it and then sent them to the head builder. That way, he knew what I wanted done. I have always wanted a library full of books; the pack house was never big enough, but this one will be.

I know a lot of alphas picked up and moved closer to their mates' families. I wondered if there was ever a mate that wanted to just stay where the pack was. I will have to take a look at that.
